After renovation the quality of this theatre is improved but not up to the mark. AC was insufficient and we were feeling hot inside. No fans and sitting chairs were ok but I saw mosquitos. They need to improve on cleanliness. Parking area is small. People watch play here only because of its location and well accessibility.

An iconic place, now in some disrepair. But it was a pleasure and honor to perform here.

It's nice at centre of city. Easy to reach. Easy to find. Auditorium is not huge around 700, 800 people can accommodate. Parking space is also limited. It's well maintained auditorium. Not too expensive. One art gallery is also there. Small exhibition can organize here.

My only issue is for some reason on that day Canteen was closed. So nothing to eat or drink during interval. Everything else was Fantastic.

Good experience , clean theatre compared to other theatres in pune. However Limited snacks opts available like local street samosa, vadapv, bread patis. Tea and coffee served in tiny cup. Tickets are 500 per person which has less value for money.

We saw a show of 9.30pm and that too on weekday so we got ample space for parking. The auditorium needs serious maintenance. For the current show, sound system is tremendous. We had really fun watching it.

If you like to watch Marathi plays, this should be on your visit list. Almost all Marathi plays have atleast one show here whenever they are performing in the city. Really appreciate the fans supporting theatre. Theatre is good. Front seats preferred to interact with performers. Sound/Washroom/Parking can be improved.

Even though it is the most famous natyagruha, it's very badly maintained. Toilets are dirty. The theatre itself is not cleaned. Plus no food is allowed in the theatre. Needs a lot of improvement. We saw a show of "kurr" play it was very entertaining, and we enjoyed it a lot.

this is one of the best auditoriums in Pune, and that it's a mainstay of the city's cultural heritage. It hosts mostly Marathi plays and other events, and some say it's good for kids.

A famous place for Marathi plays. But with time the infrastructure has aged and there is hardly anything done to keep it up to date. The chairs are not comfortable, the toilets stink, no hand wash in the washroom, people bring plastic food packets inside the auditorium, after the 2nd half of the play all you hear is munching and plastic noise. Even though it is clearly mentioned that food is prohibited inside the auditorium, there is no one to enforce this rule.

It is a great cultural place but needs attention for restoration of its beauty. For actors and theatre workers best facilities should be made available, this should be made on war footing. We Punekars love drama and bal gandharv theatre is like a temple for us.
