Good place for boating in Bamnoli. The prices are a bit high but if you are a group of four people or more it’s a reasonable. The place is very beautiful specially during monsoons when there is greenery all around. There are two or three options that you can choose from ranging from a 45 minute boat ride to a two hour 30 minute boat ride. One star deducted for lack of safety since the really don’t enforce life jackets or other safety measures and also the boats are a bit dirty. However this place is a must go if you are in this area.

Must do if you go to Kaas Pathar. You will get bored at Kaas Pathar, Bamnoli boat club will be an amazing experience for you. There are 4 options to places to go to in Koyna back waters. We went to Tapola from Bamnoli. People can take there cars in a bigger boat to Tapola and go towards Mahabaleshwar from this side. It was an amazing experience for all of us who went.

Bhairavnath boat club provides boating services to Vasota, Tapola, Nageshwar, Datta Mandir etc. This is the starting point for tourist to get boat for vasota, tapola. You can take normal boad riding also with your family about half an hour. Charges are depends upon the destination or boat riding timing. For Vasota they require 12-15 people in boat. For vasota charges are approx Rs.300 per person.

Reached quite late which was a folly as the road back was quite treacherous for a large part with blind turns and almost zero viability. Google maps route too needs to be downloaded as network is absent or patchy at best. You will pass the kaas Valley and Kaad plateau, and Kaas Lake before reaching Bamnoli. Road in between is just a dirt patch with work going on so cautious driving is advice and horn before every turn. Best time is to reach there is the afternoon and head back before nightfall which is at 7pm. There are lodges in Bamnoli if you need to stay the night. The boating part is really well organized and ample parking to park your car. We were just 2 of us so we had to hire the entire boat which was 1500 for a round trip to tapola where there is water skiing. I heard usually its a 100rs per ticket when they are enough tourist. There is also a shorter trip to Triveni where there are Hindu temples. We did the tapola trip. The skiing cost 200 rs for a short round and 400rs for a longer round. The koy a river backwaters and scennary was spectacular and really enjoyable I highly recomend the experience. Also has a cup of tea freshly made at tapola at the local tea shop. People were really friendly. Was a great experience. Facilities 5/5 Route difficulty 4/5 Parking 5/5

Rude people at office. You need to stay in diesel polluted air for journey as boats are diesel operated but there is no chimnies. Quite expensive for less than 6 people. Better wait for another group for making group more than 6. Then 250rs per person for 1.5hrs journey. Fixed rate and full charge applicable for childern age more than 5years.

Boat club just collects fares and allots boats. It your luck that will decide how good and clean boat your boat will be. It is a good 500-700metre walk to the boarding point to the boat when water levels are low in summers. There are no ramps to climb the boats.
