👍👍 I can’t tell if this place is a local hangout or for tourist. I saw a combination of both local and out of towners, and this place was recommended by a local to us. It was a nice view as the restaurant is built right on the edge of the beach, but there was no air conditioning, so it was a bit warm... People often mention good, friendly, great, service, restaurant, water, view, fried, conch, local,

I can’t tell if this place is a local hangout or for tourist. I saw a combination of both local and out of towners, and this place was recommended by a local to us. It was a nice view as the restaurant is built right on the edge of the beach, but there was no air conditioning, so it was a bit warm for us. The servant was ok and gave us advise on meals. My wife’s gluten free was accommodated but I am not fully sure the staff knew what we were talking about. I got the curried grouper which might have been my favorite meal on the island. It was awesome!! My wife played it safe with the gluten issue and got baked fish and salad which she said was great also. We ate there for about $25US per person plus tip. Note all prices were in Cayman dollars. As of this writing the exchange was $1CI = $1.25US. Thus, you will pay more than the menu prices if you pay in US dollars. Also note that most places in the Caymans add a gratuity of around 15% which is shared among the entire staff. You then can add or not depending on your situation to be given directly to your server.

This is a great Caribbean restaurant right on the water! The lobster tail was amazing and the rum cake dessert was the best I've ever had! I highly recommend it 👌 👍

This is a local place with great location over the ocean and slow, slow service. This place needs an update badly..10 - 15 year old menus ? We visited again, and the food was not great. Fish was dry and overcooked. Delicious fried bread is free. Skip the desserts.

They have a really nice outdoor patio to sit down and eat on. Environment was excellent. The food was good. The service was very good. The cost was high but so is everything else over there.

The place is amazing. It is right by the sea. They have a deck overlooking the sea so this is a perfect spot for pictures. The location and the view is the best part about this place. Service was okay, nothing special. The staff is friendly but menu was not clean. The entrance and the lobby was dark and dirty. Food is by far my least favorite thing. It was very poor. The food tasted very stale and mediocre.

Super delish food, great drinks and very friendly atmosphere. The most beautiful sight outside to see wild life ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Phillip the owner and his friendly staff will take care of all your needs. Remember you are in a local restaurant and they will do anything to give you the best experience in town. They went above and beyond to make us feel like family. Thank you 🙏

Location is fantastic and surprisingly good food and drinks. Everything here is on island time, so come ready to relax and enjoy a laid back meal with a breathtaking view. Sampled a few different things and all was so tasty! Pics are of the sapper, curried conch, a full snapper with their secret sauce( hot and very sour , with onions). We showed up early afternoon and they were already out of the lobster and the mahi mahi. Only flip side is they told us almost 30 mins after the order was put in and we were expecting food to show up any moment So if that is what you would like to sample might want to be there a bit earlier. Only reason this place gets one star less is the service. Everyone loved their meal!!

Very good food, with open seating on the ocean. Great service. Mahi-mahi was good my favorite dish we had was a fantastic fish chowder. Had key lime pie for desert. It was a tasty treat but I would not have called it key lime pie.

This restaurant is good, quick, on the water. The staff were friendly & on top of everything. They bring bread & butter to your table with water soon after you sit down. We had conch fritters & beer battered fish & chips. My husband loves their BLT! Add salt to the fries & they’re crunchy & perfect! This place is open in September when many other places on the north are closed! The sunset is beautiful on their deck!

The place has fantastic and friendly service. The first, middle and last impression of this place is that everyone I encountered working here is that they really care and take pride in their work. The inside was clean and well decorated with expected island decor. The outside deck...this is a winner. Awesome view directly over the clear blue water. Tables and deck are in good shape. Everything we ordered was a solid choice and the menu has some great opportunities for multiple visits. I recommend this place.

I don't very often say negative things. BUT. Although first impressions were just above average and our server seamed quite friendly. The service was ridiculously slow. There weren't too many people when we arrived so was surprised how slow things were. We originally went in for just a coffee and a snack but when our server came over he bought lunch menus so we decided on chicken tenders and salad and 2 pieces of chicken and fries ( we'd already had breakfast a couple of hours before). After about 30 minutes we were wondering where our food was, 45 minutes later others were getting food that ordered after. We were abouts to leave when our food came (1 hour after ordering) the meal with salad came with fries so we asked for that to be changed. Chicken pieces could be bigger as they were pretty small. I think today it was just our unlucky day as most others seamed to be getting there orders without such a long wait! Great sea views, prices to be expected as in GC. Decor could do with a bit of TLC but wasn't bad. Give it a go but be warned. Allow time for a possible slow service. I'd try again if we were staying longer.

Nice little dive, trying to be a fancy restaurant. Food was good. Service was great, pretty quick for an island restaurant. Only downside was seeing sea turtle on the menu.

The ONLY reason I "4'd" the food was the Thai Style Baby Octopus 🐙. Heavy on the Thai and overly chewy. The rest of our selections were pretty damn good! The House Bread Bites, sorry, no pic, are hot & fluffy little bites of yum. Then you add butter to em... Say whaaat!!!! Their Seafood Chowder is silky, creamy & tasty. The Turtle 🐢 Sliders are why we (I) wanted to go there. I've had 🐢 B4 but never as a "burger". They did not disappoint. And their fries are super on point... Who doesn't love a great French Fry??!!! Beautiful seaside dining and very friendly staff. If you find yourself North Pointe area, check em out.

This is a quiet little bar restaurant on the ocean North Side. We went for breakfast and got to sit out on the water. We had great service and they had all the typical breakfast options, along with a drink menu. We want to hit it up for dinner some evening, they have an awesome atmosphere. Great choice if you’re around!

Loved this place from the moment we walked in. The staff was attentive and friendly, the food was outstanding and the vibe out on the deck was exactly what we needed. Also, they do sushi on Sundays and Mondays…. and it’s excellent.

This bar/restaurant has a lot of character and is in a neat spot with views of the ocean. There is a deck over the water, giving the location a nice atmosphere. Regarding the food, I had the fish and chips and it was quite good. The calamari was also tender and well prepared. We had lunch, so can't comment on the dinner options. Overall, I'd say don't expect a gourmet meal, but definitely combined with the views, a nice spot to check out.

Loved our visit here! Food was fresh and tasty - we got the fried red snapper and the meat feel from the bone. Perfectly fried and seasoned. The drinks were well made - dark and stormy and rum punch. Service was friendly and fast. The view was spectacular!

I recommend the place. Great food and service. I recommend the “Conch w/ lime and local peppers”. The conch is sliced thin, in a vinegar sauce, thin onions , red peppers, black pepper, lime, local pepper with a light spicy kick and a sweet creamy end. Can’t pint point the cream but it’s light very light and it’s good. The burger has been by far the best on the island and the fries are golden thick fried. Fresh food, Service was friendly. Ask for the free fried dumplings

Had the conch fritters and beer battered fish. It may not have been the best I ever had, but I can't remember ever having better. I could sit and look at the view for days. This is a must visit restaurant on Grand Cayman.

Breakfast here is trash! Ordered the waffles and berries. They brought out the waffles, but no berries. I asked for berries and waited 10 minutes before they brought out a petri size container of half frozen mush. Waffles themselves were very dry. I also asked for water and waited another 10 minutes for that. They were not busy at all. We were 1 of 3-4 tables at 10 am. Asked for the check over 10 minutes ago and still waiting on it as I write this review.

Finally got a chance to stop in. We are very glad we did. Staff were polite and attentive. Food was very good. Great ocean view. Prices were very reasonable. Laid back, casual atmosphere. The spicy crab cakes were delicious as was their rum punch.

The grouper fish and chips were very good. We felt katsu style which was perfect. Great tartar sauce and great fries. Their side salads are generous. We had great service. When you walk in it is more like a dive bar but get past this and make your way to the patio area. Great team at this restaurant.

We stopped by after our day trip to Star Fish Point for a snack (go on your own, no need to book a tour). The restaurant view is Amazing!!! We shared conch fritters and the jerk chicken wrap. Fritters were great and the jerk chicken had some kick! To drink I had a lemonade. Lemonade stole the show and the fritters came in second. Oh and the side Ceaser salada my husband loved. After speaking with the friendly staff , we learned that chefs happen to be from the Philippines.

What a terrible experience. Came in at 8am for breakfast when they opened. Literally the only table in the restaurant. We ordered pancakes and then eggs over medium, a coffee and a Bloody Mary. Drinks come out after the food, eggs are not cooked correctly at all, pancakes are dense and the Bloody Mary was terrible. So bad that my husband got up from the table to track down our server at the bar to inform him the drink was not good, cause the server was just MIA most of the time. When the server did come over in our vicinity my husband informed him the eggs were not done over medium and the server’s response was, “well I told them.” No apology or offer to fix. Multiple people walking around but no hellos or friendly greetings. Very opposite of what we’ve encountered everywhere else on the island. Absolutely awful. Headed back to the condo to cook eggs correctly to eat. Seriously, go somewhere else.

Shocking!!! The mice just crawl out and die on the floor. Not kidding. No joke. Not an angry Karen. I saw this exiting after my meal walking out of the dining room. I am absolutely in shock. Please pray we do not get sick.

Stopped here for lunch with teens. Decent food, excellent clear shallow water view, calm atmosphere, shaded patio, friendly service. Not so many vegetarian options though. Had fish wrap, crab cake bites, pound of shrimps, grilled cheese, bacon burger, salad. All was good.

We arrived and were told that some spots on the patio were reserved. Unsure as to why open spots are reserved when they never arrived by the time we left? Anyway, it was very very hot there. There are no fans to cool you down and the spot we were sat was well over 90 degrees. That is all fine, as I know where we are.. but still. As we sat down, we received disgusting fish tank water and no house bread that others were offered. All of that aside, the food was AWFUL. The coconut shrimp tasted frozen and like a ball of fried dough and the sliders came with no cheese or any sort of sauce. I almost choked on the quarter sized slider. It was so so incredibly small and bland. By far the worst dining experience in Cayman so far . I wish I could have gotten my money back, but I was in too much of a hurry to leave to care. Go to the caboose down the road if you want good fresh food.

I have always liked going to this restaurant. It has one of the best views of the sea and the food was good. However, l have not been there recently and I have to say it has gone "way over the edge" in my books. We ordered drinks that the server didn't know what liquor they had. They also didn't serve their "fried bread" that they were known for. When we got our order, the seafood chowder had no visible seafood and was served with a plastic spoon. My marinated conch was so putrid that l could barely eat it because it was so mushy. There reputation has been tarnished beyond recognition. I hope they take this opportunity to turn things around and redeem themselves.

Large family group came in for cocktails and dinner. Drinks were tasty. We tried several appetizers and the ceviche(wahoo) and the baby Thai octopus were the winners, the rest were also very choice, calamari, marinated conch, crab cakes. For our meals we tried many different fish, the curry grouper was the star here. The steak was cooked perfectly to our order. The little one had sliders and was happy to munch them down. The only thing that wasn’t 5 star was the table seemed permanently sticky and the bathrooms were dive bar bathrooms. Staff was friendly and attentive. Although it was mostly dark the views before it was too dark were very nice and the breeze kept it cool.

Not sure why there are negative reviews here. This is the best restaurant in the area. The food is good and the view is great. We ate dinner three times during our ten day stay. I had three different entrees, and all were good. The fried lobster sautéed cayman style was the best. The staff were friendly and attentive.

The food is utterly disgusting 🤢, smelled totally like rancid 20 day old oil. We ordered escovitch snapper (dry overcooked) the sides were cold zucchini deep fried nastiness, just absolutely awful, we also ordered the club sandwich 🥪 which was okay but very oily, the fried chicken was overcooked in the terrible oil and the fries weren't fresh. Overall bitterly dissatisfied, we will neverrr be back... Additionally there is not one local or Carribean staffer, so please do not go expecting a truly local or even remotely close experience. This is the worst overall food exchange we have ever had. Zero stars if it was possible. Change your oil for the love of God

This is definitely a local spot. Decent food. Over priced for sure..but worth checking it out at least once. They would have gotten a 4...but service here is not good...they just need to get organized a bit given they're in Rum point with high end homes and clients. Just a few tweaks and man this would be a cash cow. Patio needs renovations big time. Borderline dangerous as some of the planks are not safe. Risky spot.

Very nice restaurant when in the area. I had a Greek salad, conch fritters, and turtle entree. Everything was nice. The salad lettuce is iceberg lettuce, not a spring mix, and the conch fritters are small but tasty. The turtle is great - order it in a port wine sauce! It came with a small side of fried plantains that was very good. The drinks here were stronger than at many other restaurants on the island.

Boxing Day 2024 - spent US$80 for takeout ordered by phone: 2x conch fritters, cheeseburger (med-well) w/Caesar salad & fries, and fried conch steak sandwich (med--well). Upon arrival paid and left with 4 containers. Reach home only 2 mins away, missing the $22 fried conch sandwich. Return and have to wait too long to be acknowledged, too long to figure out where missing sandwich is. Finally get to eat my burger while daughter devours her conch steak only meal of the day. Burger is pink and cold in the center and only few bites around the edges edible. 6PM daughter has worse food poisoning for 2 days straight. NOT ACCEPTABLE!! BEWARE!!
