I had the best steak and cheese wrap that I have ever had

The food was exquisite!! Baked ziti with meatballs, little meat stuffers, chicken finger subs, The staff had smiles on their faces an was very pleasant to speak with. On member his name is d,J he made sure our order was done right in a timely manner. Start to finish it took maybe 10 mins. He greeted us an made sure to say enjoy your day. The restaurant was nice and clean their is no eat in. Covid friendly meaning they wear masks and gloves so they kindly ask that we do as well. I will post pictures of the food and label the dishes. I also will upload the menu thanks for really caring about your customer's. They did not know I was doing a review.

I always have a good experience when I go into the Biddeford store! People there are so nice

Great food, but to increase social distancing some food on the warmer would be nice to limit folks waiting in the store for orders. More grab and go items!

So I now remember why our family hasn't ordered anything from here in quite some time. I was happy to see that everyone is compliant with wearing face masks 😷 however the employee working the oven towards the back, on the right side was rude, very unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable & unwelcome. I shouldn't have to feel that I inconvenienced you to do your job. Dont worry, our family won't inconvenience you again. I can get food from somewhere else.

We have never had Amato’s pizza before so decided to take a leap and try it. That was the mistake. The first bite I could tell something was off. The taste was.. gross to say the least. And dough was soggy and flimsy. So I decided that I’ll just eat the toppings. Well, that’s when I discovered the raw dough. Thin layer of cooked dough on the bottom but then completely raw to where I could actually stretch it. Absolutely disgusting.

Often times our orders are not made correctly, but sometimes in between they’ll get it right. Food is typically fresh, no concerns there. But this is the third time in a row our order is incorrect. It never fails. The Italian is labeled “only pickle and tomato” however the italian is loaded. The guy handed to my husband and says, “we labeled them for you”. Yes, but they’re not made correctly.

If I could give this review zero stars, I would. Worst customer experience ever. Several times I have had my food made incorrectly and when I call to let them know, they are so rude over the phone. Will no longer be buying my sandwiches from Amato’s. Plenty of other great sandwich places around that treat their customers with dignity and respect.

A Maine staple! Featuring fresh one of a kind (seriously, it doesn't exist outside of New England) rolls, fresh vegetables, and Amatos special house sour dill pickles (another one of a kind). Sandwiches aside, try the pazzo bread and (again one of a kind) little stuffers. If you're from Maine, Amatos is your sandwich shop. If you're not, you owe it to yourself to try this New England one of a kind spot!

I absolutely love this pizza its meat lover with mushrooms added. Now let me tell you. The staff I amazing. The pizza is bomb. Being from down south I've never had a better pizza. This was my go to place to eat while in Maine. And I miss it already. Pizza just isn't the same down here in the south.

Wonderful experience. The girl who took my order the other day was amazing and is an absolute sweetheart truly the best another young man was a close second but they truly stood out.a couple individuals in particular kind of bummed out my experience with their negative attitudes. Also seeing vapes charging on the counters caused some concerns.

Staff(3 people) had no, let me repeat, no personality, spoke to two staff members. Customer service skill either severly lacking , or just not worth the bother. Not convinced they take sanitation seriously. Manager seemed to feel she needn't require her employee (with a terrific beard) to wear a net over it. I ate my sandwich with treppedation. I ate there a year and a half ago and it was a fine experience.

Ordered two lobster rolls, been getting them all week because they were awesome. Ordered two lobster roll’s and they were a quarter of the size of the ones I’ve been getting. They used a small hot dog roll instead of the other bigger roll they normally use and the manager argued with me about how much meat they stuck on it. Looked like a quarter of a scoop. Went back and got my money back. Definitely not buying anything from them again. One thing you never doing. Customer service is argue with the customer they were definitely wrong. I was right you’re trying to cheat me and I called you out on it.

Pizza is one of those foods where if I am totally starving, I will eat it whether it’s the best pizza on Earth or just frozen pizza from the grocery store. That being said, I was disappointed with Amato’s. Having an Italian name, I would have figured something out of East Boston. Instead it was like a cross between Pizza Hut, Domino’s, and Little Caesar's. A totally commercial taste. At the end of the day I’m just a peasant. I guess what I expect out of a pizza is just more of a mom and pop pizzeria like Santarpio’s.

Trying this place was a blessing and a curse. Blessing because it was delicious and curse because i was only on vacation. So who knows when I’ll have Amatos again. Everyone one was so friendly and gave us some great recommendations on what to get. 5/5!!

If it wasn't for one employee who was extremely rude to my husband, when his sandwich was made incorrectly, and then she was talking badly about him to the staff when I had to reenter the store to grab more oil, I would've given this place 5 stars. She has no business working in customer service anywhere! One of the employees had to keep telling her there was a customer in the store to get her to shut up.

I picked up a large catering order for my place of employment today and everything was fantastic. We had all the required serving silverware, plates, napkins, and silverware to eat. We got stuffed shells and sausage with peppers and onions along with garlic bread and a salad. Everything was fresh and ready to go when we picked it up. Great work! Would recommend to anyone looking for catering options in the Biddeford area.

I ordered a ham italian and a spaghetti dinner with meatballs. I get home and no meatballs. I called the Biddeford location and the manager basically mocked me. Needless to say I won't be going back. I did an online inquiry to I believe that email on your corporate site the day I wrote this, it's been 6 days and no reply.

This is the first Amato's I've been to. Now, when working in the area, it is my go to place for dinner. The pizzas come out crazy fast and are well made. My only complaint is the pepperoni (substitute favorite meat) pineapple could use about 50% more pineapple. Thanks!

Went here for a real Italian sandwich no they don't have on no mortadella. Ordered the original by mistake but was really disappointed they didn't put any salami in at all it was two slices of ham and two slices of cheese that's it bread sandwich!!!! Not one Italian dessert in the store. I asked for hots the kid didn't know what I was talking about. Don't say your Italian when you clearly don't know Italian. Take a trip to the north end get a real sandwich then make an real Italian sandwich what your making is bread sandwiches

I wanted a chef salad,and when I got there @7:15, there were no more left,so I asked if they had any more and the manager said she could make one for me,which I thought was very nice of her. My husband gets a double Italian and I get cheese pazzo bread and a chef's salad. Love the cheese pazzo bread.

Amazing as always!!! Ordered the other day and my food was as fabulous as usual!!! Big shout out to the young lady that took my order, she had a very positive attitude and made my visit even better 👍

I stopped at Amato's with an appetite after spending the day at a training workshop for work. The store was clean and the staff were very friendly. I decided to get a personal plain cheese pizza. The pizza featured a thin, crispy crust and a delicious sauce. The cheese was perfectly toasted to light brown perfection and had a pleasant, buttery taste. The personal pie was just what I needed before making the trip home. I would happily stop at Amato's again.

We went at dinner time in a hot night, so they were slammed. It was incredible to wait over 20 minutes for two cold subs. The trash was overflowing and there wasn't a clean table. Not how Amato's usually is! Anyway, the subs were very good!

Ordered chicken parmesan and they used dry chicken tenders instead of the seasoned chicken patty they should be using also got a pepperoni and cheese calzone it came to 10$ and when I asked for extra sauce then tried to charge me. I was so bummed when I got home.

Best food! Spaghetti buckets are delicious 😋 and subs are great too!

They need to take the baked pasta dinner with meatballs off their menu because they don't add the meatballs to the dinner at all and the meatballs that you do add are small and tiny and tastes like they where frozen and from hannafords or something!

We are from out of town the service and food were great. We each ordered something different. I have a steak bomb. Dad had pizza.it was a small and he ate the whole thing by himself. My son had the bbq chicken sub. My daughter got the chicken alfrado. They were all great. The place was small and seemed to have some type of convenience store in the first part where you walk in and place your order. The seating is in the back. The people at the counter were friendly and helpful.

There is no comparing any Italian Sandwich to Amato's! Stopped at the one in Biddeford. Pleasant staff, clean store and fast service. Thank you.

Ordered a large Italian sub with extra mayo and easy on the vegetables. My sub came with one slice of ham with a single slice of American cheese and not even with all the vegetables. I asked the manager what it was. He said it was how we make our sandwiches.They just lost another customer. Never will I come here again.

Spot on Tonite............The Wife and I ordered Buffalo Chix Wraps and they didn't Disappoint and Brought the Heat as the saying goes and an order of Meat Stuffers that Knocked outta of the Park......Keep up the good work
