My recent experience at Boulevard Salon was disappointing due to poor management and an unprofessional stylist. Despite initially having high hopes based on positive online reviews, my visit turned out to be a disaster. I had reached out to their team in advance to select a stylist, but the one assigned to me had no online portfolio. I assumed their team was generally talented, which unfortunately wasn't the case. I left the salon with the most expensive and worst haircut and dye I've ever had in 12 years of getting highlights. What was supposed to be a $168, 135-minute appointment turned into a $278, 5-hour ordeal. I was not informed about numerous add-ons, and I only discovered the price discrepancy after I got home. The stylist was clearly inexperienced and shouldn't have been expected to handle my appointment alone. She did offer to make adjustments the following week, but I didn't feel comfortable with her or the salon touching my hair again. When I reached out to management for a partial refund, they refused, citing a contract I had signed before the service. This lack of transparency and unwillingness to address my concerns reflects poorly on the salon's overall operation. In conclusion, my visit to Boulevard Salon was marred by miscommunication, hidden costs, and a stylist who wasn't up to the task. I would caution others to be wary of their services and management policies.

Went from Drab to Shag with a beautiful espresso bayalage all thanks to Jessica Rayman! This woman has angel hands as you can see in the photos! I was extremely picky about my stylist, & nervous of what the outcome would be; but I could not be any happier with the final result. She nailed everything that I wanted/asked for to a T! Fantastic atmosphere, great music & good vibes. She also made sure to use products that I am passionate about & use routinely (more natural/organic) I definitely found my forever stylist! Not enough thanks/praise can be given to Jessica R!

I saw Lily one time and she was great, she understood the assignment and I was completely satisfied! I WAS going to see her again and so I scheduled it with her and since then my daughter has been in the hospital with seizures (5 weeks now) she’s 12 and so I needed to cancel and upon explaining this, she still charged me $81.00 which was 50% of what my hair would have been. Fine, I paid it but I won’t be back because that’s a horrible cancellation policy.

I had an excellent experience with Mari as my hairstylist. She executed my vision perfectly and took the time to understand what I was looking for. I appreciate her attention to detail and professionalism. I'll definitely be returning on my next trip to town. Highly recommended!

The salon is nicely decorated. However, I left the salon not happy with my service. I left with very obvious hair dye stains over my whole hairline and ears. The service I booked and was charged for, included styling. My hair was not styled. The stylist stated she would do a dry cut (meaning blow dry and then a haircut). She was done after this and did not offer to straighten or curl the hair for an actual style. It would be different if the blow dry was a blow out with products but I left with my hair still wet on the under side and it was frizzy. The stylist was nice but I will not be returning as the service was not worth it in my opinion. She mentioned they hire a lot of stylists who have just finished school so might want to make note of that when booking.

I’ve came here before and I had Dillon and he was fabulous! I had no problem with him at all, since I had a positive first experience here after relocating from Texas and trying to find a good stylist in town, I wanted to get an all over dye, called for a consultation, I was referred to Michelle B, first impression she was a little strange, kind of acted like she was annoyed. I figured maybe she was having a bad day, anyways, I explained to her what I wanted which was a plum color that really shows in the sun, I like a subtle look, I have naturally brown/black hair, she had the worst attitude and was telling me “that’s not possible unless you bleach your hair” I didn’t understand that, because I didn’t want a drastic purple, I just wanted a hint of plum in the sun. I also informed her that I have previously used henna so I did not want a bleach done to my hair and she completely went against my preference and put bleach in it anyway & had an attitude when I asked her why she was putting bleach in my hair. She gave me the pricing and I figured I’d just do it myself, which I’m not going to criticize her pricing because stylists have every right to price based on their experience, I’ll be back because I do like the salon and the previous experience I had but I wouldn’t ever book a service with Michelle, I prefer to have a stylist that isn’t judgmental and rude when I’m just trying to get an idea of what would work on my hair.

It was my first time visiting The Boulevard today. I made a last minute hair appointment to get a few inches cut off - I couldn’t take it anymore because of the heat! Michelle was a dream! Incredibly kind, knowledgeable, calming and a wonderful artist! She gave me exactly what I asked for and talked to me about hair care as well. Thank you, Michelle! I definitely will be back to see you in a few months for a new cut!

Abbey H. did my cut and color. It is by far the BEST blonde I’ve ever had done. She is AMAZING! That said, they are really expensive but she did a good job and I will be going back. The couple girls at the front aren’t very friendly, even on the phone. I sat there for 40 minutes because they didn’t notify the stylist I had arrived. Either way, best hair color ever.
