I have been living here for 2 years. I have recommended a couple of coworkers here and they are currently still here. Unfortunately, it was a very unhappy experience about ending our leasing. We are ending our leasing in Nov. A couple months ago we went to the office to tell them we are going to end our lease then they gave us a form of move in move out inspection. Then in August we got a renew notification email. We went to the office again to ask them if they are aware that we are leaving. They said they would check. If anyone did their job diligently we won’t end need to pay two more months forced payment. No email/phone call ask us, portal can’t end the leasing. No one in the office can help. After review all other people’s reviews apparently they are intended to scam your money or not doing their job. Now in Nov they are continuing charging us even higher renting fee that we didn’t sign neither agree. The people in the office didn’t try anything to help and now they know how to end the lease instead of a few months ago. They are arguing written notification and what we told them didn’t count. They are happy to “scam us two more months renting fee and even better if we can move out now”. They also feel it’s right that didn’t facilitate us initially because this place like people moving in instead of moving out. I am suspicious they may do similar thing to other renters. And apparently they didn’t practice what the leasing contract mentioned. I don’t recommend this place anymore and I am going to tell all my friends who are living there. BTW read the leasing contract may help since they are not telling the truth. There are rules and laws not what they think can stealing money from the tenants. Some update. By Missouri law 441.070. No needed notification because we have a fixed contract with an specific ending day. The guy we encountered a few months ago has worked here for years. I think he probably knows it and only gave us the inspection paper. (Or why not ask my husband to write down anything in the office or give us Email at that time?) And now they change what their words and needs 2 more months renting fee, which violate the contract. We saw him yesterday and he clearly expressed their standpoint making money from us is what they want. The manager there clearly doesn’t know her role. She is not helpful and bossy to the customers. She doesn’t have the contract and doesn’t know what’s in there. When my husband wanted the explanation of the lease contract. She said he was arguing with her. And asked him to leave. 6k charge for delayed notification when your monthly payment was 1570 dollars. One more thousand charge for carpet, wall painting, stove top without receipt. They ignored me and my lawyer’s Email/letter. They don’t care BBB complaints.

We moved into the apartment when it was Watermark and rented a 3 bedroom unit. Once the new management company took over, things went off the rails. People smoking in a non-smoking facility, garbage not always picked up (and the management charged me for it), and noisy!!! Our apartment flooded on Christmas Eve morning and they didn't do anything to alleviate our situation or make things right. We moved to a tiny two bedroom that was so noisy we didn't sleep well. Thankfully, we moved out in May and live in a lovely new place very close to the Parq. Plus, our old unit was still not livable. No recycling and rude, inconsiderate management. Tami, the office lead, is NEVER there and nothing gets done. I am glad I am out. I have met at least a dozen people at the pool at my new place who used to also live at the Parq. Run, run very fast!!!!

Don’t come to live here you will suffer from bad management, hidden fees and such. The building is never clean, there’s dust and spiderweb all over across because it hasn’t been clean since it was owned by watermark, the management doesn’t do a job of asking people to pick up after their dogs so it’s gross. If you ask for a maintenance order it will take even a week for them to go to your apartment and take a look. We gave our notice that we were leaving and they treated us like criminals, there are better apartments in the area who care about the people living there, the Parq is not one of them. They didn’t even inquire why I was leaving or if something was wrong, they just don’t care. It took years for them to even care about the grills and fire places, they just “fixed” some balconies that were unable to use since earlier last year. There was a leak from the irrigation system and it took them 5 days to even notice it even though the residents sent emails and called them to tell them about the issue. Also the mailroom is an issue, they even put fobs but their security cameras are a decoy so it doesn’t work, I had many stolen packages and they response was “you should have go to the mailroom faster”. The furniture in the patios is not useful at all. The picture from below is the regular any other day, so think about this picture if this is what you want to see arriving home.

This is a nice place to live but it is not worth the cost. This place is exponentially higher in cost than surrounding complexes. Construction was done on the corners of every building and rent on every tenant was increased by a minimum of $50/month as a result. The place is littered with trash, stairwells are stained with dirt/trash leakage and the place is not insulated well leading to an extremely high heating/cooling bill every month. Don't even get me started on the mail room... The mailrooms are at the back of the building located in the parking garage making it hard for the delivery drivers to find and giving people the opportunity to steal as it is away from the highly trafficked areas. I have had over $500 worth of packages not get to me as a result of theft/ misplacement from the delivery drivers.

This place is a dump. The property is littered with trash and the common hallway areas have dirt and stains everywhere. The leasing agents are very rude and unresponsive to emails and portal inquiries. Construction, due to faulty construction of the buildings which caused major flooding, was going on almost the entirety of my 10 months stay with large constrution trucks and workers occupying most of the parking making it very inconvenient to park as a tenant. Management offered no concessions on already overpriced rent. It was very noisey during the day due to the continous construction making it very challenging as a remote worker. A new manager was brought in recently however there have been no noticeable improvements being made. The complex is in a great area however there's much better communities to choose from. I do not recommend The Parq @ Chesterfield.

Bad experiences on PARQ. They don’t reply email timely even in the office time. When we called the office to ask if we can quit the lease earlier, front desk told us yes and later on manager told us no. Additionally, 400 USD is charged for full paint and carpet repair when we moved out. We had no idea how the cost is calculated and we were told photos are available in the system. For the first time we tried, none of them can be opened correctly. When we made another call to ask for that, we only got another rude experience. For the second time, we finally opened all the photos. And we saw no photo even belongs to our room! Some of the photos clearly show a view that not possible to appear in our room. What a messed up management there! Anyway, all good memories come from Watermark so don’t be fooled.

So lovely to have a few extra weeks to enjoy the pool & hot tub, especially with the arrival of our new grills & fire pit! Fun activities are planned at regular intervals for our enjoyment.

I have lived at The Parq At Chesterfield at two different times July 2021 and May of 2023. I have enjoyed living at The Parq. I love the location and love my underground garage for inclement weather. I have had honor to get to know the new manager Karin Woodworth who started her new job three months ago at The Parq with tons of previous apartment mangement experience. Karin Woodworth addressed a few of my concerns like needing a special size HVAC air filter and Valet trash service. Karin was happy to help me with my concerns and questions. Karin also scheduled to have my carpets cleaned because of my allergies with a hypoallergenic carpet cleaning company. Karin is great to work with and is perfect for her role as the manager. The manager Karin Woodworth really cares about her position of the manager and is a fantastic advocate for the tenants. Me and my little cat Caylee are happy tenants and would recommend The Parq to future tenants. Thank you Karin and The Parq!
