A nice little stop in Maplewood to get coffee in the area. However, my companion and I wanted to study and stay but there is actually very little seating and the staff were very noisy with chatting and laughter. I get not a lot of seating due to the size and layout of the restaurant (and after all we did have a place to sit- provably not on a crowded day tho), but the noisy-ness of the staff was definitely a bit much especially with my companion and I not being the only guests trying to study in at least mildly quiet conditions. The noise and seating issues aside, we very much enjoyed the coffee, the chocolate bars, and our time there. They have some fun lattes for the season and extra props as well for having the roaster right there in store and the grinding as well, you know you’re getting a quality cup of coffee that is made right from start to finish right before your eyes. Keep up the good work, just maybe quiet down a little!

La Cosecha is a nice little spot to hang out with friends, grab a quick cup to go, or take homework for some peaceful study time! The baristas are the friendliest baristas in town and they learn names quickly! Every time I come in I can be sure of a conversation about any and all things with a barista. Love this place! Also they sell fair trade coffee and drinks! 5 Stars cause they tick all the boxes! Friendly, nice environment, good coffee, and great place!

This is a fun ace to get a great cup of whatever style of coffee you fancy. The fact that great harvest bread shares the same store front is an added bonus. The people that work here are a joy to visit and are always happy to answer questions. Will keep coming back!

Frankly, the best coffee I have tasted in a few years. I was staying with a friend for a summer visit and he recommended this place. People there were so personable and there is a neat bakery in the back. I plan to try their Nitro brew when I am again in town. Photo of my wet cappuccino...Gio gave me a heart!

The quality of their coffee is superb! Ordered the latte, the taste was very smooth, freshly roasted. Had to wait a bit though. We also bought some breads from the bakery inside the cafe, which is kind of interesting combination. Will definitely come back for their in-house roasted beans another time.

Four stars, due to the tasty combination of having a Great Harvest Bread company in the same space as the coffee shop. The barista was very pleasant and friendly, but the double shot of espresso itself was underextracted. The flavor was very weak and off-balance, suggesting channeling, a cold portafilter or group or simply very poor flow control. I do believe the coffee itself is capable of delivering a great cup, I just didn't get to experience that. A very bike friendly and bike accessible location, I will visit again, hoping for a better coffee.

I stopped by La Cosecha on my quest to find good coffee in the STL area and wasn't disappointed. The service was lovely and quick and the coffee was delicious. I'll definitely be back! Only one note, and this is typical of most coffee shops so not a ding at all, I wish there were more sugar free syrup options for those of us who can't have sugar. They currently only have vanilla. They have oat milk and almond milk as well.

Got the seasonal coffee/lemonade mix and coffee/milk chocolate mix. The coffee/lemonade is very refreshing (a bit bitter but I personally liked it)!

La Cosecha was extremely enjoyable. I had some work to do so I brought it to work on. The coffee house was quiet enough to focus on my work. They offer free WiFi for guests which is always a plus. I highly recommend La Cosecha for anyone!

I was really excited about trying La Cosecha. I normally judge coffee shops off their lattes or Cortados, but I biked there and needed something cold so I got a nitro. It was pretty flat and just didn’t taste great. They had to switch out the canisters in the middle of the pour so I’m sure that didn’t help. I really wish I had gotten a sidecar, latte, or Cortado instead, but based on the nitro I got, I can’t give it better than 3 stars. If I come back, I’ll get something else and update my review accordingly. The staff was very friendly, at least.

Pour over Ethiopian - good flavor, can taste the notes and smells like fruit. Also cappuccino was good. White mocha flavor was growing on the drinker. Barista was nice and very helpful. Bought cinnamon rolls for work from Great Harvest - haven’t tried them yet.

Friendly, quick service. Not much seating, which is a bit of a bummer because it would be a nice space to hang out for a bit. Look forward to returning.

We love LC! We first got hooked when they brought their coffee truck to 9 Mile Garden a couple summers ago. We live in south county, but it’s worth the hike to Maplewood for a quality cup of coffee! Everyone there is super friendly. They sell a variety of fun gear and freshly roasted beans. If you happen to be there while they’re roasting it smells amazing! I love their oatmeal latte - it 100% tastes like a bowl of oatmeal with brown sugar! The canned snap chill coffee is also delicious. Maplewood location is small but cozy, and they share the space with Great Harvest if you need a snack to go with your coffee.

If you are like me and think that the most important thing about a coffee place is the quality of the coffee--then this is the best place to get a cup in Maplewood--a town that has so many that there is a "coffee crawl" event. It's the only place where the coffee is the star and it shows. Always either the same guy (I think the owner) or a younger woman there, and they are warm and friendly. They also have taken COVID-19 seriously and have had a smoothly run online ordering/curbside operation going during this time. I appreciate that.

This is my go to for ordering whole bean coffee. The owner has really changed how I view coffee and how i buy it. He is very knowledgeable and very passionate about it. If you are not sure what you like, i would encourage you to go there and do a tasting. Yeah, a tasting just like wine. you would be surprised by the subtle differences in coffee.

The owner of this place does not wear a mask while working. When I told him that I was uncomfortable with him not wearing a mask while talking to another employee who was making my drinks, he became defensive and stormed out.

Our favorite place for fresh coffee and friendly smiles in the Lou! The coffee is roasted on location using single-origin, fair-trade coffee. Their seasonal drinks are fun and delicious, as are their regular offerings. The Brown Bear is my favorite summer treat, and I look forward to the Maple Bourbon Latte in the winter. We love their annual coffee club program also!

My favorite coffee shop! Their lattes were always my favorite out of every where i’d go, I didn’t know why until I figured out it’s their espresso that’s different than everywhere else and so good. I had a latte elsewhere and it was just as good but I found out it was because they used LC espresso for their lattes! The girls who work there are great, very friendly and make great drinks.

Vanilla latte was decent. But I really enjoyed the nice little cafe with the Good Harvest Bakery that’s attached to it. Service was great and enjoyed having breakfast there. Got there around 8am and it was very quiet so pretty much had the whole cafe to myself.

The coffee is great. I've never been unhappy with it. I especially like their cappuccinos. However, I'm disappointed in their rebranding. It took all of the character away from the brand. I'm hoping that it might change again someday to something with character. And the atmosphere is also just okay. It would be so good for them if they were able to move to a bigger building.

We hired the La Cosecha Coffee Truck for our wedding and it was absolutely amazing!! We hired them for the 2 hours before the ceremony for all of our vendors and our guests when they arrived to grab a caffeine kick before the festivities! Greg was so kind and responsive and had so much information and pricing up front. He was clear and communicative and we came up with the perfect plan. The truck pulled up a little early and they got busy to work! The drinks were amazing, the service was amazing, and our guests were absolutely floored at this special treat! It truly made our wedding day perfect. We can't wait to get the pics back!

Was in town for the holidays and needed to replenish my beans. I travel with my Breville Barista Express. Lol, I know... Picked up some recently roasted bean here based on ratings, drove in from Wentzville to check them out. I have no problem driving and hour to check out the "good stuff". In general it was meh. I've been drinking through it now that I'm back in Colorado, but I have to say it's not the quality of bean I'm used to, so I won't go out of my way to get more when back there. Always on the search for great bean.

Great pour over coffee given to you in an insulated thermos which was a great touch. I didn't realise the bakery part was actually a "great harvest bread co" chain. I'm not typically a big fan of their bread but I did get a small loaf of the Dakota bread to take home and I've gotta say it made great sandwiches

Unusual layout with coffee shop up front and bakery in the back. I waited to be served a latte while another customer came from nowhere and was served ahead of me. Needless to say, I walked away to see what my wife was doing in the bakery. She asked for a gluten-free banana muffin and received a very small muffin for which we were charged $7.00! Well, it did have a dehydrated banana on top! We’re visiting family in Maplewood and won’t return to this shop on our next visit.

It was just ok. The coffee was fine, nothing ground breaking. I was disappointed by the experience. Going out for coffee is largely about the experience for me. It just doesn't provide much of an experience. It feels like a side cafe in a Target or something. There was no warmth or character to it. I wouldn't return because it just wasn't enjoyable to sit and have coffee.

Best coffee in the area by far. Have tried a lot of local ones that are very good, but this takes the cake. Staff is very friendly as well and I greatly appreciate them opening at 7:00am on the weekend since most other coffee shops don't.
