    Can’t keep appointments. If you want a personal trainer go somewhere with professionals. And after catching the managers in a lie the GM said “we were all listening and she didn’t say that”. Really? I was just on the phone and you’re going to tell me she didn’t say what I clearly heard her say and immediately called her out on? Obviously management doesn’t know how to be proper managers. Instead of trying to put off blame just own up to it.

    I worked at the Lemay Club Fitness as a Porter. I enjoyed the work & the hours, but the general manager was very unfair. He would allow female porters to gossip at the front desk, dance, and do anything but work. He had to be pressured by a female coworker into giving me my 90 day evaluation . I was not rewarded for my hard work. Just cast aside. The manager owes me an apology. I WOULD STRONGLY "NOT" RECCOMEND WORKING AT THE LEMAY CLUB FITNESS. IT'S LIKE WORKING FOR A PRESCHOOL!!!!!!

    After having a membership with them for years....I had to cancel because I moved to a town with no club fitness near by. I went in 30 days before just like they told me and canceled my membership. They said It was all taken care of and that I had it till the end of this billing cycle. I noticed they charged me again for the next month and when I called they said they could do nothing for me. That I had to come in person. So I drove an hour to talk to them and they said it was not in the notes and I couldn't get refunded for this month. But not to worry it is canceled now. Makes me sad that everyone I talked to was cold and not how i believed my favorite gym to be like.

    Worst gym in south county! Stay away from them they screw with your billing a lot, also once they get you in the contract they don't care, or willing to fix there mistakes. Staff is always acting like they are cleaning, and are in the way off the workouts. I left 2 months ago, because they don't allow bags in the gym. My stuff got stolen out the locker, they say that they where not responsible for it. A lot of car theft, in the parking lot! My car got stole from there, few years ago.

    I have been here for over a year now. Prices are good for what they offer, although it's a smaller gym compared to gold's gym, so I tend to go in at later hours. The thing that really bothers me is not be allowed to use the massage chairs unless a staff member is there, which is rare - if management reads this. I pay for the "premium" or premier or whatever you call it for a reason, and I shouldn't need permission to get full advantage of my membership. UPDATE: So I finally managed to find time to go there while staff is present so I can use the massage chair. The girl turned it on and after ten minutes the machine turned off. I went back to the front desk to find out that you can use it for only ten minutes! So after over a year at this gym I can see that the "amenities" are only there to get you to sign up for their so called "premium" membership, but it really is just a ripoff and no different than the regular $10/month membership, unless you tend to visit other locations, which I assume most people don't. At this point I will try to downgrade my membership or cancel it.

    Predatory company... Had been a member several times over the years, Cancelled my membership, was told it was taken care of, Hadn't thought it about it in over a year and started getting calls from a collection agency. Apparently it wasn't cancelled like the manager told me it was but they are ZERO help because I don't have the "confirmation number" almost a year and a half later... be warned.

    I had no problem with the gym equipment, staff was usually nice. I caught covid twice this year,and I was unable to work out for several months, so I called to cancel my membership. I was told I had to come in, in person. I finally got well enough, went in person, got an employee to assist me, then used the kiosk to cancel membership. (Employee assisted) 3 months later, i discover they are still charging me, and they waited till my yearly fee was due several months later, , and added that to the balance too. I wanted to return to start workingout again, after my recovery from covid (twice in 5 months) , but I will never go back to a shady company. Club fitness practices some very shady business tactics, and I'll never go back now. My son canceled and they kept taking dues out several more months. Shady company

    I will say that we love the gym for how clean and updated they are, but the staff is not the most welcoming. Most fraternize with each other and not once have I ever been approached in a friendly way to ask how I am doing...not even eye contact. I've seen the staff talk with people who use the fitness trainers, but that's about it. The young girls at the front desk sometimes act like you are inconveniencing them if you ask for something. There is a rare occasion of "have a good day" as you leave. I would love to see a more diverse group of people working there too. Front desk workers really need a lesson on what customer service should look like...they are the first impression of the business and need to sell it when you walk in, instead of ignoring you. I also wish they would implement some kind of rule about being on your phone forever in between sets on machines while someone is waiting to use it. Some people definitely take advantage of that time. Not the friendliest place but then again, this is south county.

    A great place the workout. New equipment and the other customers are friendly. The reason this isn't a 5 star is cause of the staff. Apparently only one girl can make a shake, and others just stand around. For instance was just there today and finished my workout and I stood at the counter and 3 girls saw me but didn't ask if I needed anything. So I walked out. Please train the staff to be more customer friendly.

    Staff is very friendly, but many members are racist, and homophobic from overhearing others conversations or statements. Keep that in mind when attending this location. Also being harassed with slurs is not my cup of tea.

    Newest facilities are awesome but the older ones can't compare. Do not be lured in by a newer gym thinking the rest are alike. Creve Coeur, in particular, looks as if it has not been updated, painted or repaired in 30 years. Also, the low price includes the minimum, and they will try to sell you private training for $400 a month.

    Lemay Ferry location has very unprofessional staff including management Jason i think he said his name was. Gym side is fine but they are always out of wipes. Tanning on the other hand is awful. The staff doesn’t know how to work the beds. Every time I go I have to call and tell them to actually set the bed. Spray is always broken or it is working but not Properly meaning air will blow out and not spray. I called and they simply said they were on way back to change bags and never came. Then had nerve when i went up there to say they busy and have no time to fix it bc they are with other customers when i was initially waiting 10 minutes. As I’m up there another man complains his bed was never set. Sir that’s normal Robert and Jason don’t know how to do THE job description they are working for. Management told me I’m the problem. He finally tried to fix it but unfortunately step two of the tan didn’t work it just blew air. He told me to contact corporate which i shall do tmrw when they open. Rude and just simply unprofessional EVERY time except when they sign you up of course.

    I had the wildest interaction on March 9, 2023 with a person that violated my personal space and was very pushy about it. It’s March 17th today, and nothing was done about it. Here is the story. When I was in the middle of my workout, doing push-ups, I lifted my head to see a man with a pushing machine waving wildly at me to move over because I apparently was in his way 🤯 even though I was there before he started his exercise and was as far out of the way as possible, so he decided to react in an infantile manner, pushing his machine further into my space and continuing to flail. I refused to move. Under normal circumstances, I would have been happy to move, but he refused to treat me like a person. He was clearly interrupting my flow and being woefully disrespectful about it, so he decided to push his machine over my mat with my belongings on it. Then, he had audacity to call the manager Trenton over and complain that I was in his area. Nothing was resolved. No one called me back, and that man is still coming there and doing same things to women. He almost rolled over some woman’s head today when she was working on her mat today. Management could do better than that and stand up to clear cases of sexism. Shame on you.

    It’s super humid inside The water fountain is warm like bath water. When I want to tan they have to clean the room first but I would assume they should clean right after a usage by another member? Staff seems to be way to crowded up at the desk rather than improving their “housekeeping” around the gym. They don’t even put toilet paper back on the rolls they just throw it on the floor in the men’s bathroom stalls.? Y’all that lazy for real? The equipment is decent and seems to be well maintained but improvements can definitely be made 40$ a month seems a bit much as well. There’s no need to over staff the front desk and housekeeping still seems to be a problem

    Only thing I like about the Lemay club fitness is that’s it’s close to where I live and convenient. Newer staff is rude. However, I will say, a few of the class instructors are nice. Arnold club fitness is much better, bigger, friendlier/more helpful staff, and has more amenities. If it weren’t an inconvenience to go all the way over there throughout the week, I most definitely would go there instead.

    What a joke! They changed their membership structure and now all the old members are forced to upgrade. I have been going here for 10+ years and they took away my 24 hour access and ability to go to other locations UNLESS I upgrade. That isn't how you treat loyal members. They have totally lost touch. So glad they built a Planet Fitness down the street.

    I love this facility. The staff are always nice and welcoming. The facility is clean and well lit. The equipment is rarely out of use, it’s up to date, and in great condition. It’s well spaced out and you don’t feel cramped. It’s never too busy and can get in a good quick workout. It’s also a big parking lot so you’re never walking too far to get in.

    I love this gym location! Basically my second home. Here everyday! There is almost every piece of workout equipment you could think of, they keep up with cleaning EVERYTHING, the staff is so kind they even help Re-Rack weights for you and offer to help if you need anything. My favorite staff member definitely has to be Ryan Janssen he greets everyone and always gives a smile to everyone in the gym 💪

    I rejoined Club Fitness after a long sabbatical. I was very impressed at the many updates this company has done to their equipment and amenities. The gym is spic and span clean and smells nice. It has every piece of equipment I would need and then some. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make sure to provide new members with a quick tour. I signed up on 7/1/22 and after my sign up was finalized, I asked the guy who signed me up if I could get a quick tour of the gym. He told me that the people that typically give tours weren’t there that day and declined my request. I ask if he could at least point out the general layout of the gym and he did do that from his desk. I was a little bummed with that, but I managed. Overall it’s a really nice gym and I would definitely recommend to others.

    We are pretty disappointed by our first experience here. Went to use the hydrotherapy and one of the male employees was in there with a female, either another employee or guest. They were acting kind of off and left when we entered. (Like we interrupted something) Went to use the red light therapy after first checking with the front desk. The door was locked when I went to use my turn. Front desk staff came to see who was in it and open it. She knocked on the door and the same male employee and girl from the hydrotherapy room were in there together. My significant other and I had waited in the hall and we watched them come out one after the other looking pretty embarrassed. Seemed like they were waiting for us to be gone until they decided to come out. So that definitely made us decide to skip our turns using the red light therapy and leave the gym. Filed a report with corporate through emails and phone call. Hope that management here addresses whatever is going on with their staff screwing each other, or guests in the amenities. Hopefully that somehow was not the case. Pretty disgusting. Also of course decided not to get smoothies because of that experience. No thanks on that after doing whatever it was they were doing. It says that they are recording in the hall so they should be able to see who was working this evening and going where with who.

    This is one of my favorite gyms to go to. The workers are so beyond nice I can’t express that enough. Isiah, Ryan, and Alexandra specifically are very helpful and nice. They always help me with anything I need and are always keeping the gym clean. This gym has a very clean and upkept space. All the gym goers are so nice as well and it’s always a positive environment. As soon as you walk into the gym there’s an energy shift and everything is more positive. They make really good protein shakes and have a huge variety to chose from and you can even add in different fruits, oats, creatine, etc. Their locker rooms are clean and very spacious. They have many different memberships you can chose from, some include the hydro massage and I definitely recommend that because it is so relaxing. They have a little turf area where I stretch and warm up. They offer different classes and have personal trainers. I’ve never had one of the personal trainers, but I always see them helping others and always hear uplifting and encouraging words coming from them. I’ve never had an issue coming here and it’s always, always, always a good experience. This gym has helped me keep a healthy lifestyle and I definitely recommend this gym if you’re thinking of coming here!

    Lots of cool new cable machines The new manager Lane is very energetic and welcoming constantly walking the gym floor picking up and saying hi to the members! Family atmosphere.

    I was amazed at the level of cleanliness. I actually saw a staff member using a toothpick to get the grime out of the rubber pads on the stair steppers. I've never seen that level of detail cleaning in other gyms.

    Couldn't get the manager to even make eye contact with me when I walked into the establishment. Seems as though the bulk of employees are to busy on the phones to do real work. Wouldn't recommend. Spend your hard earned money at another facility.

    It’s a good gym. Typically never too busy and management has improved over the years. The new check in system is a pain and blocking me from checking in even though I have paid for 24/7 access is a hassle. But not too big of a deal. The new zip ties they have put on the cables is a huge issue. Caused me and some of my friends to bleed after doing a set. I just don’t understand why they need to be there. Also all the tvs play ads for a membership upgrade which is annoying and the radio station is terrible. Arnold has better selection. 8/10

    This gym is very outdated, no sauna like the rest of the club fitness in the area. Constant issues with the stair climbers, a calf machine that has been out of order over a month now. Constant issues with their tanning beds. Come on repair these things.

    outstanding experiences time and again; GM Eric runs a tight ship! personal trainer Ron S. has been a terrific help providing insights monthly for me to improve. down over 6% body fat this year so far & feel great. alex & john (aka the smoothie master) keep front of the house warm and receptive for every visit. can’t recommend this location highly enough

    I went to this gym for the first time the other day and was very surprised by how welcoming the environment was. The employee Jake Lucido in particular was amazing and made me feel welcomed and gave 100% energy. He also never stopped smiling! 10/10 experience

    Been going here for years and maybe 4yrs ago they did an upgrade on the place. Nice. Sadly, the cleanliness of the restrooms is piss poor, no pun intended. I also have a membership with Planet Fitness in the city and they keep their facilities much cleaner and they are ALWAYS wiping down. This club fitness has a grimey feel and it shouldn't. No reason for it.

    It's an okay branch. Not much to look at but it gets the job done as providing a location to get a good workout in. I would highly recommend the Arnold branch though. I LOVE getting a workout in there.

    I am a Zumba class regular, and I have only the highest praise for Gabby’s class. She is pleasant and encouraging. She is SO fit and energetic, and her choreography is stellar. It is a joy dancing an hour with her leadership every Monday and every Friday! Love, love, love her classes!

    Everything about this Club fitness in particular is great! From the staff to the equipment. They offer a variety of work out classes in which I enjoy the most. They have wonderful childcare workers to take care of my children while I work out. It's clean throughout the facility and the location is in a great area. Overall, although I stay about 15 minutes from this club fitness, I prefer to go to this one over some of the others in the Saint Louis area.

    Definitely enjoy working out here. Almost never have a problem getting on all the machines I need to no matter what time of the day I go. Also, very clean...you can almost always see at least one employee cleaning something.

    Deceptive marketing and they make it impossible to cancel your membership. Be aware you are signing up for a 12 month contract or "agreement" as they like to call it. When I expressed my frustrations to the "manager" Megan, she told me she was not aware of what is advertised on the online membership sign up option. As a manager of a store, I would think this is pertinent information to know. I arrived Friday before 6pm to cancel my membership since a manager has to authorize it, and no manager was on premise, so no one could help me. She proceeded to tell me she works 60 hours a week which is why she was not there. I had to go back to the store Saturday to see if I could cancel. Needless to say, their hours of cancellation are not always guaranteed as advertised online. See the trend here?

    If I could give 0 stars I would. I begged over a month for the Club to do a couple things for me: help me change my bank information over email because when I called I could NEVER reach a live person and I couldn't be on my personal cell at work and I begged them to help me access my online portal because my login never worked. So what did they do? They kept calling my personal cell, and kept over drafting my old bank account when I begged for them to help me switch accounts. Now they won't give me a refund for this awful service I received. I've had to go to lengths to get any sort of immediate response. What a joke.

    I love this location! It has everything I need to get a great workout in as well as extra amenities. There are a plentiful amount of treadmills and cardio machines. I also like that are always sanitizing stations with wipes to keep each machine and mat clean! Staff are always friendly and I’ve always been greeted at the door no matter how busy it is.

    Since Gold's Gym closed, I had to find an alternative that's close to home. There's not as much equipment but the space is prob half of that compared to Gold's in Arnold. The staff are friendly and keeps the place clean. Masks are not required but I see about half of the customers coming in, including myself, do wear one. I usually come in around 6AM so not sure if there's a wait when at capacity. All in all, I'm happy with getting back to the gym and CF checks all of the boxes!

    Cleanest location in my opinion! I was so impressed when they reopened this week with all of their precautions they’re taking with COVID-19. I went to another location nearby waiting for Lemay to open and they didn’t take any precautions like Lemay does (which didn’t stop me because it’s essentially our decision to risk it or not) but it was still very refreshing to see! They also have newer equipment and more equipment than nearby locations. Never have an issue with employees or management. If I’ve ever needed anything, they’re all more than helpful!

    I really love this Club Fitness! All of the workers are very kind and always helpful! Some of the workers I have met and really liked are Isiah, Ryan, and Alexandra. All of them are always so friendly and always help me if I have questions. All of the equipment is always clean and I’ve never had any issues with the equipment there. Another nice part of this gym is the massage chairs and the red light therapy. It’s very nice to be able to relax after I work out. Overall I really enjoy coming to this Club Fitness!
