I was looking for a few handles for some new cabinets and bathroom vanity. After looking around for something to go with an oil rub brass hinge, I came across the liberty style door handle. Above the display was a towel bar and ring and toilet paper holder. These went well with the liberty handles. The handles were on sale for a pack of 10. We needed 20. The planning designer in the bathroom department, Jerry was able to give us 10 loose handles for the package price. There was only one package left. They turned out to be a good choice.

Horrible experience with the manager. Best to avoid this store at all costs. They had one fire pit left in the style I was supposed to get. Box seemed beat up, and the item had possibly been returned, but the associate I asked assured me that they carefully check these items to make sure all the parts are there, and it isn’t damaged. Yeah, I should’ve laughed and walked out, but my mission was clear and I bought it anyway. Item was a lot heavier than expected, so it was a chore getting it home. And it was a little concerning how many employees had their masks down under their chins. Sure enough, I wrestled the box into the garage, opened the package, and it was bent up quite a bit. I really didn’t want to repackage it and haul it back to the store due to the weight and Covid risks. Called the store, and the associate said they should be able to issue a partial credit or do something for replacement if I can send pictures, and she transferred me to her “manager”. Guy was pretty curt, not at all helpful, said “we don’t have an email you can send pictures to”, and said I have to bring the item back to the store. Instead of that hassle, I called the service number inside the package, and Home Depot customer service bent over backwards to help. I sent the service rep pictures of the damaged parts. (The service rep said the store manager definitely has an email address he could’ve given me). She sent a parts request to the manufacturer, to replace the bent parts if they’re available (which is a long shot). And then she contacted the store manager to try to set up a partial refund. After quite some time, she gets back with me, and is clearly upset and out of breath. She told me about her frustrating experience with this manager, and it sounded like a doozie. We had a couple good laughs at his expense. Fortunately, it looks like Home Depot corporate can resolve the issue. We’ll see. And I’m very glad I (hopefully) won’t have to set foot in that store again.

We recently bought a dishwasher and BBQ grill. What a nightmare!! The dishwasher was supposed to be installed but when they showed up they told us that they couldn't install dishwasher and we would have to call a plumber. We got plumber but there were parts missing. We had to order parts and plumber had to come back again. It took hundreds of dollars and time to get installed. The grill was supposed to be put together and delivered before Father's Day. The grill has not one and has still not been put together as of today 6/28. We will never ever ever ever purchase anything here again. We will go to Lowes or Menards.

Self Checkout only this morning. I just left $250 worth of goods on the counter and walked out. Good news is that the Hardware store across the street has the same items at 1/2 the price and also found the reciprocation saw online - saved a total of $50 all because they can't man the checkout counter.

I was there to buy a new washing machine, but after looking around and picking one out, I waited for assistance, and after about 20 minutes, I went looking for help. When I finally found an employee, she was sitting at a desk helping a customer with financing, so I said "excuse me, sorry, I'm wanting to buy a washing machine when you get a chance." She looked me up and down, rolled her eyes, and said,"I'm the only one in this department right now and already busy with a customer. Can you come back tomorrow? Because we don't actually keep anything in stock except Hotpoint, so we couldn't help you today anyway." Then she turned back to the other person. That's when I left.

Went to Home Depot this evening to get some tile for the pool. Had a good selection for the most part. I came across in my point of view some very Exquisite glass tile that look like the inside of a oyster shell. They had two different sizes I went for the bigger ones thought it would be a lot easier and a lot less grout work. Thought the price was Competitive with other stores. I paid $12.49 per square foot before taxes. Comment if you like. Let me know what you think about my Selection. I am going to be going with probably a gray or a silver grout. Hopefully I will be installing within the next couple weeks. Sorry I couldn’t take pictures of the finished product I have to find somebody to fix a crack in a fiberglass pool. On that note if anybody knows of anybody that does fiberglass pool crack repair, please let me know. Thanks and advance.

Not enough people working there. No checkouts with a person. Had trouble with prices. Then I needed to check a price in the garden department and I was in the front of the store. She told me to go back and take a picture of it. She said there was no one else that could help me do that. And I am disabled and only on one leg. Something wrong with that picture

This is one of the best stores to deal with great customer service!! So easy to return items as long as you have packing slip or receipt no questions asked, fast and easy. Love it

We love to come to this store with our grandson when we are in Wentzville. The employees are always helpful. We especially appreciate Zach. He always waves and honks for our grandson from his fork lift. Thank you, Zach!!

I came in to your store lost. And a woman from customer service noticed and came out to help me. Period I didn't catch her name. But she had brown hair and glashe's. Her whole demeanor just made me feel welcome and that she cared. We talked briefly about my prosthetic and then she told me whe re e to find my objects. She is awesome and I hope she gets recognized for this

Typically better or same prices than other big box stores. Curbside is always good. It’s just impossible to find an employee. The older employees are always quick to help but everyone else seems to always be hiding. Stood in the blinds and flooring section for 30 minutes

Good selection of tools and equipment. Things not at the other St Charles County stores. Prices are standards as the other stores but good place to check if a specific item isn't at the other stores. Friendly staff helps to find items and check you out quickly. Parking is good and plenty of space.

I went to Home Depot today to look for a vanity. I was discouraged and unable to find what I needed. I asked for assistance and Chuck appeared in a colorful festive Mardi Gras costume. He asked what I needed and immediately reviewed the shelves for options. He helped research the design and composition of the vanities and further assisted me in locating and obtaining exactly what I needed and then took it to the cash register and arranged assistance in loading the vanity in my truck. He also offered his assistance in helping me find a mirror. I am grateful for his patience and time. Service like this is rare and was greatly appreciated.

As I was exiting Wentzville Home Depot I was rudely stopped, told that I was attempting to remove from the store items which I had not paid for, and the person who stopped me forcibly pushed the cart with my merchandise back against me and inside the doorway. I held up my receipt and offered it to him along with the card I’d used for payment. Refusing to look at the receipt, he told me that it was not a receipt. I handed the receipt to another employee who had come over to investigate and this employee looked into their system and calmly said “ he has paid for the items. “ I’m never shopping here again and I will be returning the items that I purchased along with other merchandise I’d recently purchased for my home renovation project. I understand that retail theft is rampant but I also understand that if it’s questionable that merchandise was paid for, the staff has the right to ask or demand to see a receipt especially after it’s clearly obvious that a person went through a live cashier and hasn’t stuffed 4’ long cartons of merchandise into their pants.

I can find everything I need for my projects and I'm happy with the prices but my only complaint is they still don't take Samsung or Apple pay. Pretty frustrating.

Bought a washer/dryer & was told by employee in appliances we could return if needed. We never opened r used & later needed to return. Employee (lady)@ front said jst bring it back and we did. Then employee @ return desk said Home Depot NEVER RETURNS appliances & now is giving us the run around & refuses to return. Be careful I would never buy any type of appliances from HD Lowe's has a much better customer friendly policy for appliances.

Wanted a piece of plastic cut back in the glass and plastic sheet are. They had a setup for cutting and a sign that read custom sizes but I was told they were not allowed to cut plastic. Went to Lowe's and they had no problem cutting a custom piece for me.

Honestly I’ve never written a Google Review, and I absolutely love this store and 99% of the team members that work here. I’m writing this because of an interaction I had while trying to return a Milwaukee product that was still within its return limit.l and am extremely unprofessional employee. The “Lead Customer Service” representative or similar titled employee named Brandon, refused to honor my request for a return on a product within the return policy and told me I stood for asking that similar products be replaced I requested that one part out of a set tools be replaced for my Milwaukee trimmer set. He told me I needed to replace the entire combo it came from, and when I informed him I had already checked the shelf and the kit was not available, he was unwilling to make the exchange. I only needed to replace the one part, the base for attachment, and was willing to swap it for an exact replacement instead of shipping it off to Milwaukee. I also told him I would be willing to exchange the part that was damaged and a part of lesser value as a complete return since they didn’t have the combo in stock but he refused. He proceeded to tell me he would not make the exchange and that I needed to leave the store as they would be closing soon. I took the entire set to the O’fallon store that evening and was able to make a direct exchange for the broken tool in less than 10 minutes without question. It’s sucks to see the disparity in quality of service between locations when you have paid for an expensive tool and the staff is unwilling to honor their policy. I would direct anyone with customer service issues to patronize a different location.

I live in Columbia, MO and right in the middle of having a deck built. I changed my mind on the balusters that I wanted and the only place that had them was: HOME DEPOT in Wentzville. I talked to Tom in Customer Service near the front door and he went out of his way to make sure they had the quantity I needed. He went beyond what anyone else would have done. The square balusters look fantastic and match the fence I just had put in. I wish I knew his last name so he would get the credit he deserves. Thank you again "Tom", and HOME DEPOT in Wentzville!
