Johanna is amazing!!! She offered me great tips for makeup before I left for college sorority rush. She also brought a team and came to our hotel for my senior year debutant presentation. My mom and I loved her services and felt so beautiful that night. I just recently came home and took another makeup class with Johanna. She is one of the most talented, hard working, friendly, and professional people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. Her spray tans are the best in town and my makeup and hair have never looked better. Mario for hair I also recommend. He’s the bomb, so upbeat and always knows what to do with your hair. I highly recommend Maven Salon. It is tucked neatly away on Broadway and is such a convenient location for Alamo Heights, Terrell Hills, and Olmos Park. It is a hidden treasure in San Antonio and everyone should book with them. Always clean and quiet. It’s really a treat to go get pampered there and I feel that their pricing is so affordable for all services. I cannot wait to have them do my wedding one day! 10 stars.

Mario is top notch with hair styling. My daughter has booked with him 3 times and he styles her hair like a star. We are grateful for Giselle. She fit her in for make up although I know she was busy with other clients. Highly recommend Maven & Co.

Johanna and Lori are amazing! They did my hair and makeup for my Bridal Luncheon, Rehearsal Dinner, and did hair and makeup for me and my entire bridal party for my Wedding. Not only are the amazing to work with, but they are so talented and fun. I so enjoyed spending so much time with them over the course of our wedding festivities. I felt like my makeup was perfect and received so many compliments and I loved my hair for all three events. Even better is that you can sleep in both and look fabulous the next day - the makeup stays on and your hair stays up! Cannot recommend enough!

I made an appointment here for the Air Force Ball to get my hair and makeup done. Mario did my hair and Johanna did my makeup. They are so friendly and I LOVE how it all turned out! I would 100% recommend Maven and Co to anyone! I will also be going back to get my hair trimmed by Mario! I trust him with my hair and that is hard to come by nowadays!

First time visiting Maven and Co for a spray tan and it did not disappoint! I did the clear spray tan with Johanna and the color looks so natural and no streaks. Johanna is the best!

Johanna, Ariel (both makeup) and Bess (hair) were just incredible artists for my wedding day! They came to my home where all the girls were getting ready and got to work quickly. Everyone's makeup and hair was done on time and looked incredible! Johanna was incredibly helpful, listened to my thoughts/opinion and also offered her own opinions when asked in a constructive manner. The reason I chose Johanna was based on positive reviews and also how she was able to make brown eyes really sparkle. I saw a photo on her website of a client with blonde hair/brown eyes similar to mine and I knew she needed to be my makeup artist! All of my bridesmaids raved about the individual lashes that they put on us, and how natural they felt. The makeup lasted all day and well into the night. Bess did my hair, as well as my mom, mother-in-law and her friend. She did an amazing job on everyone-- my mother-in-law's friend said she'd never loved a wedding look so much! Bess pinned my curls up and gave me instructions on letting them out before the wedding so they would hold-- it was these little things that helped make the day smooth and helped me feel beautiful on my wedding day! Last quick note, they accepted venmo payments which was SO easy for my bridesmaids who were all paying for their own beauty services. Highly recommend.

This was my 3rd time using Maven and Co salon for photos and I always leave feeling my absolute best! Johanna also did my makeup for my wedding along with my bridal party and family. She went out of her way to adjust her schedule to ensure we had 100% of her focus and were perfect for the ceremony. So professional, talented, and a wonderful person. I would definitely 10/10 recommend.

Lori Cole is amazing! I showed her some photos of what I was hoping for, and she did it! She asks the right questions and listens so well to make sure we’re on the same page. I haven’t had my hair colored in more than 6 years, so I was feeling a little nervous, but no need at all!

This team made everything easy and I was so pleased with my hair and makeup for three straight days for my wedding weekend! Maria was amazing for my wedding day hair and makeup and my long curls lasted all night! Mario (hair) and Giselle (makeup) did an awesome job with my bridal party and all of them were a joy to work with on the wedding day and leading up to the event.
