Walking in, there was a long line for check in and a staff member came by to hand out bottles of water, however I was not offered one and that staff walked away and never came back. When I asked for one at the the counter (it was warm there), I was told no they don't offer water even though I was right there while another staff member was passing out but just not to me. I was asked if I had ever stayed there before and I stated not at that location and I was immediately told "there is no free breakfast here just so you know" (why would you say that or in that way?), I explained I was aware and have stayed at Aloft in other cities and countries along with many of the Marriott brand hotels and none of the ones I stayed at offer a free breakfast except the Le Meridian in Dubai. We were there for one night only and the rooms are not well maintained or exceptionally clean and there was only one towel. I was able to flag the cleaning staff still on the floor to get two more towels. But in reality, the service is the reason I won't come back. I'll be contacting Marriott customer service over it.

Had a 3rd floor room facing Blanco Road, which was nice. Check-in was smooth, staff were great. They have a nice bar area in the lobby. Room was very clean, smelled good , and the bed was very comfortable. While the shower was amazing, it seemed like the shower door wouldn't close all the way, which allowed some water to get out. Other than that, the location is very ideal, within walking distance of many restaurants, as well as a Target nearby, and North Star mall about a 10-15 minute walk away. I'd definitely stay here again.

The room was pretty average for the price point. The bed was super comfy! But, the a/c was funky and it was difficult creating a comfy temperature (which is totally nit picking). The staff were all amazing! From the front desk people to the bar tender. We'll come back just because the location is convenient for us (as are tons of hotels in this area), but the service staff were next level awesome! That's why we'll come back. 10/10 do over.

Stayed just one night here during the week. The hotel as a whole was very clean. Our room was fine except a random sock left on the floor when we checked in. There are some restaurants and a Target within walking distance. Other shopping and dining is very close by to drive. Dog friendly. Had a pool we never went to due to rain. Overall a fine experience if you need an inexpensive place to stay for a few nights.

It's adequate, some wear and tear showing throughout the property, showers are very (negatively) eco friendly... It's "nice" (sarcasm) to have a shower head spray such a large pattern with the least amount of water possible and no handheld shower wand. You soap up any time you like, but you'll never rinse clean(to the tune of Hotel California) It's also nice to be acknowledged for my elite status and proactively offered a late checkout, now if only they would make the key actually work until then and housekeeping not come waking you up at regular check out time to strip your room. Lastly, entertainment on property is bountiful including a 30 minute long domestic dispute in the hallway, and it's left to the guests to report it. If you've made it this far, you're likely going to stay here anyways, if you still have concerns, book the Marriott San Antonio Airport across the street.

GHETTO I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! i hardly ever write reviews but here we go....my son's basketball team stayed at this hotel for a tournament and I was very unimpressed. Overall, the hotel is very dark and dirty looking. There were 4 of us in our room and were only given 2 towels. When i asked for more I was told they don't have any towels available.... like huh?? Waited hours still no towels ended up going to target and buying towels! Room service is supposed to be every other day but we were there 4 days NO Room service. Trash piled up everywhere as there are no trash cans they don't even have an ice machine! We had a horrible experience and will never stay here again.

I love the room layout and design, unique and fun. The pool is ok, a little murky. The complimentary breakfast is underwhelming. It covers $10 and anything hot is made to order (that's good) but a small breakfast sandwich is $8. And a bagel is $2. At least the workers at the desk were flexible and let me take just a bit more without charging (I think).

TLDR: Good for a single traveler and one-night stays. Bad for parties of two or more. Cleanliness is okay, not bad but not spotless. The location is nice due to the ease of highway travel and proximity to shops and downtown. Hospitality: I did not have any issues with the staff at the Aloft San Antonio Airport location. We arrived near midnight and were greeted courteously and checked in quickly. Every time we came and went for the duration of our stay we were greeted by hotel staff and guests alike. I also enjoyed how they were hosting a pumpkin carving contest and were very enthusiastic about dogs. Services: While we did not have the opportunity to take advantage of any of the services this hotel provided, the bar and pool/fire pit areas looked very inviting. Breakfast and lunch were a quick QR scan away and relatively cheap for convenience. Room: This hotel has very small rooms. Almost unbearable for a party of two and no room for more. I am afraid to think of a double bedroom if it is the same size as ours. Absolutely no place to put anything within the bathroom aside from on the floors or back of the toilet unless you plan on leaving the sliding door to the bathroom open to grab your clothes from the area that serves as a closet/bathroom sink/kitchenette (coffee maker/minifridge but no microwave) area. There is a small desk and chair if you need to work but otherwise the only place to sit is the bed. Cleanliness: Room service only came once during a four-night stay. Once! When they did, they replaced the extremely limited amount of towels and made the bed but did not take our trash which was overflowing from the tiny container. I felt as though I had to ration out the towels between taking a shower/drying my hands or placing a bar of soap on the counter/placing one on the ground to soak up water. The general clealiness of the room, however, was decent enough with no visual stains anywhere. The toilet and shower could have used a scub down though. Location: The location is really nice because it has a decent amount of shopping and entertainment nearby as well as an interstate highway. It is also relatively close to downtown (15 minutes) and Northstar Mall. Overall: I do not believe I would stay here again nor reccomend it to others as it was not the best hotel I have stayed in. Is it better than a cheap hotel? Yes - but for the price point I would keep looking.

I’ve been coming to this place for years, I mean every week. It’s getting worse by the day, today no hot showers. Bar still has no tvs? Basic things you can fix! You should be grateful to have Nina and Andrew as employees. Consider looking for a new hotel for the company to stay at.

all the staff are awesome. Annette always is wonderful in the morning and Hannah and Rayleigh at the front desk are so friendly and on top of it. Christian is a great manager and is great also. I stay here a lot for work and it's like catching up with friends when I run into these people every time. nice clean rooms and very pleasant stay.

Nice hotel with heated pool and fire pit. They also have a great location with lots of restaurants and stores nearby (such as a helpful Target). Staff is nice and rooms are clean. Only thing was that room is designed so the bathroom is pretty open, and the light can’t be turned on without disturbing people sleeping. Good for single travelers, and has comfy beds.

The location close to the airport was good. When I arrived after midnight Sunday night my room was dirty (sticky floors , blood on the toilet etc). I called and asked it to be cleaned. The next day while I was away it still wasn’t cleaned and my bed was made and I was given no towels. I woke up Tuesday morning the room still isn’t clean and girl at the front desk was rude. I definitely would never stay here again.

Location is great, close to freeway, shops and restaurants. Even though my room was a bit loud, I gave 5 stars bc the staff were so friendly and helpful. I had heat exhaustion and the staff really did everything they could to help me which I really appreciated. I like the room layout and the blackout shades. I would definitely stay again.

The lady at the front desk was in a really bad mood when I went to check in. She was pretty much lecturing me about checking in early. I was fully aware of the fees and just wanted to go lay my head down after a really long drive. Made me a little uneasy, but I wrote it off to her having a bad day. The room was nice and clean and the location was very convenient. Only issue was a dog barking a few doors down all night.

The worst mattress I have slept on in 15 years. The sheets were poor quality as well. Room is super small but has a great shower and the use Dry Bar products.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was great and welcomed my chihuahua. They even take pictures of your pet to hang in the lobby! It's not a super fancy place, but it was close to shopping and restaurants.

I had the pleasure of staying a few days at the Aloft in San Antonio during the month of February. It was my first time in this part of the city and I was delighted with the experience. The hotel staff and other guests were very friendly and the hotel itself was modern and immaculate. The bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing for a restful night's sleep. What really made my stay special was that the Aloft is pet friendly and I was able to bring my Chihuahua along with me at no extra cost. I wish I had taken more photos of the property and the room itself; however, it was so wonderful that I forgot to do so and simply wanted to enjoy it!I am very pleased with my stay and I look forward to returning to this Aloft in the future.

Aloft San Antonio was a great stay! The staff was friendly and helpful, they helped us with a couple of toiletries we needed. The lounge/bar area was a cool space where people gathered in the evenings, they had a concert while we were staying there. The rooms, hallways, and shared spaces were clean. The gym was a great amenity. We really appreciated the great free coffee and vegan food options available.

Staff was great and overall the hotel upheld the Marriott standards.. Looks like the rooms could use some maintenance as mine on the 4th floor was a had sings of it's age and a few things overlooked... I was surprised with the personalized message and cookies from the staff thanking me for choosing their hotel.. Nice to also see a very dog friendly hotel..

Overall, very nice stay near the airport. Everyone was curious and friendly. Check in was a little slow. Nice little bar. A few snack items, small outdoor pool. Really nice adds: outdoor gas fireplace and a pool table! Highly recommend! Rooms are small but the other spaces more than make up for it. Design is very modern and sleek.

This hotel is our favorite. It's pet and family friendly and the location is great. Close to North Star Mall and plenty of food options. The shuttle service is offered 24 hours and takes you anywhere within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. The staff here are kind respectful and enjoy great conversation as well. Would recommend.

YOUTUBE PREETTYP - Overall great stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms clean. Bartender super nice. Only thing is the parking in the front can go quickly due to First Watch being in the parking lot as well, but I will come back. Location is convenient as well. Right by the highway, target, the mall..

This place was very clean, staff was awesome. They have a 24 hour shuttle, which was great for a 3:30 AM flight to the airport (10 minutes away). My only problem was that there is no cold water from both the sink and shower, but I had that issue as every hotel in Texas. Bizarre.

Visiting a friend staying here for a weekend event. The room was small and very utilitarian. Very narrow and long, bathroom did not have a door, just a curtain and when you showered the whole room became steamy and humid because of the way the room was constructed. Will have to say that the hotel is very conveniently located close to the airport

The customer service provided to us for use of their conference room was amazing! Jasmine, who helped us book, was extremely helpful and accommodating. Room is clean and spacious. Had great connections for use of electronics and PowerPoint Presentations.

I love the security here, the staff and the fact I’m treated with respect considering the amount of rude people they deal with day to day being so close to the airport. They helped me with a quiet room in a corner because I’m pregnant and were more than accommodating. Alaina, Christian, Andrew, Manny and Bijan all deserve raises because their customer service skills are unsurpassed and they truly made me feel safe while being forced to stay in a hotel for a week. I love aloft and will always recommend this location to anyone I know!

Recently stayed at the hotel July 7-9, great hotel amazing rooms, very stylish up-to-date. My only pet peeve is I don't know who thought it was a great idea to get rid of the microwaves in the rooms, other than that amazing experience definitely will stay again.

Nice hotel, with well appointed rooms. Service was outstanding on check-in, very accommodating! It's close to Target and many eateries are within walking distance. It is further than I expected from the airport, but there is a shuttle. Highly recommend!

Would give 0 stars if possible. Me and my wife booked the hotel after traveling all day from Arizona. We get to the hotel and the employee at the counter says we have to pay a $50 security deposit. This deposit was not mentioned during the booking process, after the booking process, or even on the official website. Unfortunately, we were in the middle of the pay period and weren’t going to get paid until the next day. We had spent almost all of what we had left on booking the hotel. We explained this to the employee and told him we’d be willing to leave the card with him but it couldn’t be charged because it wouldn’t go through. He refused and when we asked to speak to manager he lied about being the manager and got extremely rude with us. We ended up having to sleep in our car. If you plan on going to this hotel prepare for unexpected fees and poor treatment and zero flexibility. After getting treated the way we did sleeping in the car was better than giving them our business

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and I have always been welcomed and treated with the utmost respect. I will continue to stay here when I travel to San Antonio due to such amazing staff. Special shout out to Valentina and Becky for being awesome!
