Nice lake near Berea. Swim, picnic, fish, or just walk on the trails. Head north, about 2 miles on the trails, and treat yourself to Berea Falls Overlook

A lovely section of Cleveland metropark nestled west of the Hopkins International Airport in Berea. Ohio, and hidden about 1 mile with in the Mill Stream Run Reservation. We hosted an office socal event near the Wallace Lake Cafe in the Wallace Lake Pavillion. Was a delightful location for our event. The Pavillion and picnic areas were well maintained and well appointed. They were also clean, ready for use, and had plenty of covered seating and charcoal grills. It was easy to host the event, which counted 25 attendees both kids and adults. The nearby ponds, Cafe, playground and beach were great for the kids and anyone wanting to explore and take a walk.

Beautiful quiet places, could read, do yoga, fish and watch birds. Little beach to enjoy in the Summer time, and a nice fountain. Big parking lot available and free, free admission as well.

A very cool lake where you can relax, play with children in the fresh air, there are nets for beach volleyball, you can fish, there is sand near the lake, many tables where you can bring your own food to eat. There is a lot of space, the park is very clean, we come almost every day with our children and spend a lot of time there. It is a beautiful combination with nature

I will continue to come here even when I'm too old to walk. There's a lot to do here as long as you have an imagination the possibly fishing equipment or just friends are family to make the time enjoyable. Very scenic and very peaceful. Love to take my boys here

I take my grand dog for walks near Wallace lake. It's actually very nice, there are horse trails on the opposite side of street from bike/walking path. She is a pittie mix and walking on the horse trail avoids any drama with her!! Also this area is always very clean and well maintained by the metroparks!! I feel very safe, I have never felt uneasy in this area.

Great beach to take kids too. Plenty of lifeguards on duty and conveniently located within walking distance of bathrooms and dining area. Beach is very clean and water in not too deep at all for little kids.

Wonderful place for family to go swimming and fishing! We got there early and the sand was freshly groomed. The entire park is well taken care of. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Wallace Lake.

besides the large amount of illegal fishing done by the local comrades, the metro parks do a great job of putting fish in here to keep the local kids interested in fishing, good parking access

Great little beach with the ability to ride your raft on the lake. It's always clean with friendly life guards.. this is my hidden gem of Ohio lol

What a wonderful getaway. Even though it's located on the outskirts of the city feels like you're miles away from the hustle and bustle of everyday just to drop the line in the water relax for a few hours was wonderful. A definite must visit place. Will definitely go back.

A beautiful park that borders the entire west side of Wallace lake and it's stream drain to the Rocky River. Modern restrooms, picnic tables, cookhouse, fishing, open fields, lots of shade. Another gem in the emerald necklace in Berea Ohio

We went for the fireworks happening at Coe Lake. Turned out to be a great spot! We could see well and it wasn't as loud for the kids. There were a few idiots... Some drunks who flipped their still lit cigarettes into the grass and left all their cans. And enough people were smoking that you could smell it. But overall, the kids could see well and we enjoyed watching them experience fireworks for the first time. We plan on going back to the same spot next year. Maybe early and having a picnic. It's a lovely area! And the police were there to help direct traffic out which was highly helpful.
