I came to Ikea and shopping for countertop materials and chairs at night. After that stopped by Ikea cafeteria to eat some food with my hubby. We came at night so some of them were sold out, but we chose Harvest salad, Swedish meatballs and vegetable balls. It reminds me of a school cafeteria. The service was so slow and grumpy granny there caused a long line behind, lol. As for the impression of food, salad is ok but not other meals. 3 meals for $20 are not bad but better to eat delicious food.

Honestly the price is what makes this place special. The food is like school cafeteria food (boiled veggies, gravy etc) but you can feed two adults in 15 dollars. Plus they have multiple plant based meals.

It's a great place for any kinda date. Alone, with friends, or whatever. Pretend you're in primary school again and go to the cafeteria and get a tray full of food.

Fun experience and good food, especially the meatballs but long lines, only one staff working per section and there was barely any food left in the grab-it-yourself section. We got the last strawberry short cake, there were no more chocolate cake or sandwiches. They also rain out of mash potatoes.

So almost a month ago I arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 pm, the restaurant was closed. The people who worked there said that there was a staff shortage. I said understandable, closing 30 mins early. On my next trip recently, I arrived at 6:30 pm, same thing, citing lack of staff. I asked what time do I need arrive, for the restaurant to be guaranteed open, they said they have no answer for it. My question to the management is, why don’t you just cut hours at the restaurant so it’s at least consistent. Or at least edit the Google map hours on a daily basis, as I believe many people don’t live next to this IKEA. I’m just sad that I can’t get food after a long drive. “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me”

Took an hour and a half to get the food, don’t understand why they have one person per side when the lines are extremely long, I understand under staffing but there were plenty of staff just standing around. The food wasn’t worth the wait, very bland and heavy. Affordable though.

The food was pretty good but it took just under an hour to get food. There was probably 20 people in front of me, but I have never seen it take that long at any IKEA I've been to.

I absolutely love IKEA restaurant. Really nice people working and while the line is always super long it goes by fast. The views in dining are always so beautiful. Staff keeps dining area clean as well. Just really great place to eat before you splurge on furniture! P.S. get the chunky chocolate chip cookies at the register if you eat here. They’re fresh and SO GOOD 2 for $2!

So, in all fairness, this is a cafeteria, not a restaurant. In truth, the meatballs are edible but not really that good. We always get a side order , of course! What do we like? The salmon salad. It is the best. Whenever we go, we try to get the salmon salad, but it sells out quickly. Our second choice is the salmon bake. Always good salmon, the vege side is always a little on the soft side, still edible. The patty thing, could be broccoli, could be potato, could be a mix, I like it, the wife hates it! I eat hers:-) Primary reason we go there, it's cheap. Why else. We always have fun and buy chocolate when we leave

The play area is now open for kids to play for an hour. My 4 year old loved spending an hour in the playland. The kids also received free macaroni and cheese with adult entree purchase.

Believe it or not, IKEA actually has really good food. Some of it even considered healthy. There salmon is cooked to perfection every time. It's much better quality food than you would believe IKEA would have. The price is right. Also. I see lots of families with little kids and adult kids all enjoying lunch there.

They appeared short staffed. Only one person serving food per line. Food was good but cold. Desert bar was pretty barren only a couple sad looking cheese cakes in the case and little to no more in them. Line was quite long and took about an hour standing in the line. Hope they do better in the future.

It's Ikea. Cafeteria style dining. The meatballs and mashed potatoes are good. The vegetables are unseasoned and bland. Their salmon is surprisingly some of the best. Skip the garlic bread if you don't like it cold. The salads are very good. The dining area can be noisy with all the families, but it's generally not terrible and usually decently clean. There is usually a long line which is my least favorite part of the experience. However, it's still a nice way to take a break from shopping.

The food was good. They offer a nice variety at a reasonable price. In a shopping atmosphere, where you can spend hours looking at displays, getting ideas for you home. Had a fantastic time there.

Food was "yum", as usual. But there were many tables that were unclean, and we were there when the rush was over. We had to clean our own table and remove the dirty high chair. We just ignored the food puddle on the floor where the high chair was. We both had the Swedish meatballs with gravy and lingonberry sauce, fries in the side. You must simply have the meatballs (or meatless ones) during your shopping break at IKEA!

Prices are good, food tastes decent, but every time I've been there these past 6 months they are sold out of so many items (mostly things for children). The people dishing the food are always so miserable, even when you try to be overly nice. Cashiers and other staff are always great though.

The food is just OK and I'm OK with it being only a few dollars. The only thing I could ask is that they clean the high chairs better. I realize. They are short staffed and doing their best, but can I urge patents to help them out and clean the chairs? Thanks!

The food was something not familiar to a American diet, yet very much palatable. However, don't get the diet cola. The service, whenever in use, was quite helpful. That atmosphere was the best part, the little rooms made for the furniture in the upstairs area, with lots of props and creativity put into them.

The store needs some serious attention. Perhaps new leadership. The staff gave conflicting directions for furniture order, pickup, delivery. Lack of knowledge across the board. Half the items are unavailable in the cafeteria. Soda fountains not working. Felt like a store not being tended to. I have had better experience visiting IKEA and this store before.

Didn't like the food at all. Stroganoff big disappointment. Better off with TV dinner instead. Had salad looked great, tomatoes in salad were going bad. Won't waste my time and money every again eating there. The place is like a maze, I felt like a lab rat trying to figure out how to get out of there. Not a fan of IKEA.

We come here often enough and the experience always varies. Last night still isn't sitting well with me. The food is always good and warm, a nice selection when things aren't sold out, but I'm not picky and will take whatever. The customer service is always on the irritable side from them having to repeat themselves over and over. Things are sold out and people can't hear them, so it's a rinse and repeat of "what would you like for your side? we're out of mashed potatoes," "oh, mashed potatoes please 😁," "....we are OUT of mashed potatoes. 😑" I feel bad for the food court employees because lots of customers aren't very understanding/forgiving. The only sour feeling from last night was the cashier who snapped at me because I didn't position my phone properly to be scanned for the Ikea family thing. I apologized and they rolled their eyes, and grumbled my total. We went to find a seat and when I went back over to get condiments and silverware, I looked up briefly and was greeted by a scowl and another rolling of the eyes from the same cashier at a distance. I understand that food service is not a fun job customer service wise, I work retail, it's similar but more forgiving. However, it is well known that you save your frustrations for a customer that deserves to be snipped at. TL;DR: good food, hit or miss service, be kind to those in food service.

Pretty much the worst coffee you can get anywhere. Super long lines. Food tastes bad. Just not an enjoyable experience anymore. I really don’t understand why so many people eat here… I guess the prices are lower than most places 🤷🏻‍♂️
