Having stayed at The Bush House Inn twice for single-night visits, I was consistently captivated by its harmonious blend of historic charm and modern comforts, all while offering breathtaking mountain views. Its proximity to Seattle makes it a gem of a getaway, providing an immersive experience in both adventure and tranquility. Truly a memorable stay every time.

Wow this was a great experience! We stopped in around 10am to see if we could get some food. The restaurant wasn’t open but they offered to open it to make us some egg sandwiches. The hotel and restaurant are beautiful historic, the owners spent 10 years restoring the building which was originally built in 1890s. The scenery is gorgeous. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

Oh my goodness, the restored Bush House is beautiful! We enjoyed a drink on the porch after an impromptu tour. Our family has roots in Index back to the early 1900's, just so happy to be back in this beautiful place!

I love this spot! Incredible scenery surrounds this historic hotel and restaurant. I have tried three different dishes from the restaurant (wild mushroom and goat cheese flat bread, rib eye steak, and the country farm salad). All three were bursting with flavor and were beautifully presented. The staff is kind, and the little bar in the back is fun!

The food was delicous. I loved the rum sauce with the lavender rice, herbs and chicken! The wine went well too! Some vegetables would have been good with the mains, my companion was still a bit hungry when we got home but he could have ordered a salad the waiter said. The historic hotel looks beautiful and I would love to stay over.

Came in for dinner after a day of climbing. We ordered steaks, salmon, chicken, a burger, and deserts and all were excellent. Good selection of beer and it was cold. Staff was super friendly. Would definitely return next time we're in the area.

Absolutely beautiful historic hotel with the perfect amount of modern. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with our infant son. The views are also incredible. I can't recommend this place enough!

Lucky I found this place! Well renovated historic hotel. Throws you back in time, but with todays comforts. Centrally located for outdoor enthusiasts. Very friendly and knowledgeable host can assist you exploring the area or arranging a tour to make your stay more grand!

We loved our stay here. My family of four (2 large teenaged boys!) stayed in the 3rd floor room with 1 queen and two twins. It was perfect, clean, comfortable. Every person we interacted with on the Inn staff was kind and helpful. This is a lovely Inn situated in a beautiful area close to lots of fun things to do. We look forward to our next trip!

What a nice find! We stayed here for a quick mid-week getaway. The Inn is freshly renovated with modern fixtures but retains its charm. The bed was excellent and the large shared lounge area was great for relaxing after dinner. Someone knows how to cook at the restaurant, we had a very tasty lunch and dinner.

First impression: I’ve wanted to go check out the Bush House Inn restaurant for quite awhile, and while my parents are here visiting I suggested they check it out (I had heard good things, and confirmed they were open). My parents got there and no one came to their table to greet them for some time. Once the server finally came over and brought them water, they never returned. During this time another bigger party arrived, was sat, greeted, and had their order taken. My parents ended up walking out, and unfortunately now I will probably never check it out myself.
