My most recent appointment felt very mediocre. It was via telehealth which is a big help, but my therapist (who i had just met) had all these recorded responses from a questionaire filled out prior about who i was and why I was seeking therapy, and yet he still had the nerve to say "why are you seeking therapy?" From then on, our conversation felt like I was filling out the questionaire all over again. Telehealth therapy sessions are still therapy sessions. So therapists should prepare like they are.

Therapy can be a daunting experience but LifeStance makes the process easy and smooth. They have a wide variety of locations and practitioners with different specialties. The option of online appointments makes it easier to match with my schedule. I found a therapist who is the right fit for my mental health needs. They listen, ask questions, and provide good feedback. It's not the standard "How does that make you feel?" stuff and I really appreciate their approach.
