My brother wanted to try a new bowling alley for his birthday. We decided upon Tigard Bowling since the pricing was relatively similar to KingPin. Right from the start, the staff were incredibly uptight when I called to make a reservation, I disregarded it initially because we were able to accomplish a reservation. The exterior of the place looked rundown and clearly showing its age. The interior was no better, with each lane having only three chairs and stuffy air quality making it difficult to breathe. However this could have been disregarded had the customer service been any different than today. One of the major issues was their strict policy on food and drinks. Despite having only water bottles and one canned drink, we were scolded and made aware of “no outside food or drink” but at least they made an exception for personal water bottles. When we asked for a trash can to dispose of the single canned drink, the lady replied in a snobby manner, mentioning their recycling policy and took the can herself. When we were seated, there was no service or anyone offer us any drinks or water; we had to go ask for it ourselves. The rude service continued throughout our visit. We were told off for having our own water drinks on the score table, so we complied and move the drinks over to a different table as instructed. With one water cup remaining, the staff member stood there and said in a snarky tone, "there's still one more," even though I was already in the process moving the drinks as she wanted. To add to the frustration, when we returned our shoes and brought them to her counter, she refused to accept them and directed us to another counter on the corner. Even though the shoes were in the same area where she puts away her shoes, she gave us even more attitude, even after we returned all the balls and water cups. I understand that places have rules, but the lack of explanation and the snobby attitude towards first-time customers was completely unwarranted. How are we supposed to know the rules when none of it is explained prior, and there were hardly any signs explaining where drinks were allowed and where shoes needed to be returned? Treating customers with such disrespect, especially newcomers, is unacceptable. This experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I have no intention of ever returning to this establishment. We’ll stick to KingPin for our bowling needs since they provide far better service in all possible aspects.

I recently visited Tigard Bowl and was disappointed with the service provided by one of the staff members, an older lady with white hair. She was exceptionally rude, and her attitude negatively impacted our experience. I believe that every customer deserves respectful and courteous service, regardless of their age. I hope the management takes steps to address this issue and ensure a more pleasant experience for all patrons.

Staff are polite and friendly. The bathrooms were well kept and smelled nice. Had a great time overall. I’m glad this place survived the pandemic!

Pay by the game, very reasonable prices. Gives that bowling alley vibe, which I feel is harder and harder to find these days. I'll definitely be going back regularly. Haven't tried the food yet, but they have a decently sized food menu and a bar.

Would have been better if they had a cosmic bowling price deal like other places did. We went to a couple places but they were packed so we came here. $7/gm per person plus $4 shoe rental was not really a good deal but on the plus side we did have fun.

The atmosphere and prices are great. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It was fun watching the league bowlers do their thing. They were nice enough to squeeze us in for a quick game during league time. I will be bringing the kids back very soon.

I’ve been here a few times. Today was my birthday, and we had a reservation at 9:30. I couldn’t find my purse and was in a panic searching the car outside. We walked in at 9:45. The girl working told us that they give up the lane after fifteen minutes and pointed over at a lane and said to us oh we gave up your lane sorry. As we walked away I checked the time, it was 9:46. The people in the lane didn’t just start bowling, they’d been there and I was curious as to how our lane had been given up in 60 seconds? I walked back to the counter and asked about the policy.. How did someone take our lane in 60 seconds? The girl then told me the same thing she had already, that after 15 minutes they have people calling and waiting, etc. But like i said, these people had been there for awhile, not the last minute. I still wasn’t getting how it made sense so I asked her again, she tried to tell me the same thing again. I told her that I understood the 15 minutes but didn’t understand how someone had been bowling there for some time already. She wasn’t friendly, she wasn’t even friendly from the start. I ultimately don't think i’ll be returning. I tried talking to the other girl behind the counter and the girl before would not let me and when i stated i was not talking to her anymore. she told me to get out, i work customer service. absolutely unnecessary and obviously didn’t understand my question. they don’t close until one and she didn’t even ask us if we wanted to wait. I’ve been awake since 3 in the morning busy with things and was very excited to go bowling tonight, I won’t be returning here. Please don’t tell me that telling someone I’m not speaking to them anymore is rude. It really isn’t when I just had one question that I was only getting a half an answer from.

i have a gift card so i can only use it here yet every time i try to make a reservation they are “full”… why do i need to make a reservation to go bowling anyway? this isn’t the ritz carlton. i work every other weekend and i don’t have a lot of time to try to plan around when they are going to be available, overall very inconvenient.
