This place is a great neighborhood bar. A good happy hour and weekly specials available. All the staff I've interacted with have been friendly and service has always been quick. Their food is delicious (get the truffle fries!) and they have a decent selection of drinks available as well. Multiple TVs set up for a cheesy movie/if there's a game on and lots of seating. They have a nice sized outdoor section for when the weather is good too. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean every time I've been there.

Love this place! The first time my husband and I walked in we were greeted with a Cheers greeting and everyone was sad when we left. The food is the best. Even in cold weather.

It's been years since I last stepped foot in the top. Man how I've missed this place. Atmosphere is still electric and the employees are freaking awesome! The food was and still is amazing. Thanks Top Of Tacoma, thanks for staying exactly how I remember you.

I used to love going to the top of Tacoma, but what I experienced tonight was absolutely disappointing. Sally, who claimed to be “the owner”.. racially profiled my whole family. The discrimination I have to experience here was devastating. I wish I could give this place negative stars.

Top of Tacoma is a local treat for drinks and dinner with your high school buddies from the 90's. Great menu with some of the best tacos in town, huge selection of fresh cold beers on tap, and a vibe that brings out the snowboarder skate-punk metal-head in all of us. The nachos are to die for, on their delicious all around "can't go wrong" menu. The décor is distinctively of local artists, vintage 90's punk rock shows flyers and a sticker collection to envy. The walls are authentically decorated with 90's show flyers, local skateboarding photography, local artwork, sticker collections, and an extensive Rainier Beer can collection. Prominent local painter, sculptor and mural artist Jeremy Gregory is featured in Top of Tacoma's art collection. When the bar opened in the early 2000's, Jeremy Gregory was kind enough to generously donate numerous pieces and reproductions to the art collection. It's q must see when visiting Tacoma. So bring your friends! Eat, Drink and Rock out at Top of Tacoma!

In all my visits here staff have been so friendly, helpful, and fun. And the food is reliably delicious. With anything I’ll always order the sweet potato waffle fries. I love it for greasy brunch, lunch, dinner, or just a drink.

Despite being busy on a Friday night, the service was friendly, courteous, and the wait wasn't too long for my food and drink. The steak nachos and soda were excellent and filling. Great deal. I highly recommend the nachos. I'm still stuffed. It may not be a 5-star restaurant/bar, but they have my vote! I will be returning. Good job, guys/gals. Thanks, Jacob for the great service.

Had a great time and the food was amazing! I had the meatballs on special... vegetarian... and I never would have guessed! I am a meat person. Dylan said they were good and he didn't lie! I'll be back!

Fun neighborhood bar up above the Tacoma dome. Great drinks, delicious food, killer jams on the speakers and funky fun Grit citians.

Been here twice. Bartenders are flexible, food is legit. Had the grinder (would prefer spicy I think) and the hamburger soup (unexpectedly delicious).

I lived everything about this place. The food, the service, the ambiance. It was all fantastic. We were taking a lunch break and the food totally hit the spot!! I had a Kraken IPA with the food and wasn't disappointed. The Beast of Burden was to die for. It was a french dip on flavor steroids. My mouth watered with each bite. The salad I chose to add to it was awesome too. The dressing was house made and absolutely delicious. All the toppings were fresh. The greens weren't a sad mix of iceberg and cabbage, it was a nice spring mix with red leaf and spinach. They had an old school photo booth in the back which was in full operation. I was tempted to use it had I not looked like I hadn't slept in two days. I would definitely recommend this bar to anyone. Whether you're passing through town like I was, or you're one of the locals who haven't tried it yet, get over there!!

I came here with a friend for happy hour on a Thursday. It's was crowded but not overwhelmingly so. We got the truffle fries to share and a mix of tacos (shrimp, pork belly, steak, and chorizo). All of them were delicious. The service was great! The bartender was personable and able to answer all questions - he knew all the flavor profiles for the drinks we were interested in. I will be returning, and I recommend this place to anyone in the area.

I really like this bar. Great food! Bartenders can make any drink you ask for. Ambience is kinda dive barish. Outdoor covered seating that is Dog friendly.

I love this place. Local pub/bar that is friendly, has great service and wonderful food. Try the Nachos or the chicken salad. They are both scrumptious. The drinks are delicious and always well mixed.

Friendly dive bar vibe. Plenty of vegetarian options. There’s a classic photo booth! Accessibility: Lighting is very dim throughout.

Good place to hang out. Lively and charismatic environment all the time. The bar tender are really nice. I forgot to ask the name of my bartender. She was really pretty and nice. I ordered fries and my goodness its a lot of quantity. Please ask them the serving size before you order, if you are eating alone. I would recommend this place to visit and enjoy if you are in Tacoma.

This is always a great experience. There is a wide beverage selection and great food. It's one of my favorite places to bring friends with for allergies, or other dietary considerations because they have options for about every diet. Staff is friendly and the service is great.

It was the night of the Tool concert, so it was busy, but everyone was nice and had a great time. Limited menu but the quesadilla was fire. Very cool place. Glad I went. Would love to go back to try more.

I like all kinds of bars. Oyster bars, champagne bars, ski bars, dive bars, so on and so on. Top of Tacoma is by far one of my most favorite bars ever. Great music, great food, great crowd and the best customer service of any bar I’ve ever experienced.
