I liked the place and they had a good number of beers but wasn't impressed with the specials that night and the food was very expensive! I tried three of the beers and liked them, the Rain IPA, little juice IPA and the High Road IPA... Unfortunately the High Road wasn't on tap but it was good. The food was good but seemed really expensive, it seems this place also does catering so that may account for it. The staff was nice but not really attentive, you don't order beers from the bar like most Breweries so in that way it seem more like a restaurant. It took them a while to find us, but the service improved. Overall I liked it.

Very disappointed they stopped serving food. Was told it was due to impact of COVID on customer volume Can understand that, but a little creative thinking could deal with that: simplify the menu to burgers, maybe a good chili…stuff that doesn’t take a big kitchen staff. We never needed the 30+ item complicated menu. Was told it is OK to bring food from outside but location is not close to any restaurant walking distance so would need to plan ahead. Gets too complicated to make it worth the effort. The beer is good but alone not enough to make it a destination. Can get really good beer at Eastside Tavern ( or in a can) and much easier to get take out from there. The formula that made 3Mags work was good beer+good-enough food+convenience and comfort. Now, why bother?!

Nice space, brewery vibe. Little Juice IPA for Hazy NE fix was fine! Milk stout is very solid. ( p′︵‵。) Just missed the blown guava pale but will be back! (。•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧ Came again Dec'17, had charcuterie plate with 3 beers, great share for two! UFO IPA was a nice, light hazy NE IPA。 Alright, the return, Feb'18, was pretty good. Tried "Oh Boy DIPA", "Woohoo" DIPA, "Mr. Bubbles" hazy pale, and "Keep It Like Vic Secret" hazy DIPA. Woohoo uses dank hops and takes first prize, with Vic a close second.

Attempted to come here for an appetizer and two beers. Called ahead to see if dogs were allowed. We were told only on the patio so one of us stayed outside with the puppy. Another one went inside an ordered and the bartender said she needed to see both our IDs. My friend came back outside a little confused because he said that she had a really unnecessary tone and attitude about me not being present. I assumed he was just being sensitive so when I went in there to go show my ID and finish up the order while standing in line I actually Heard her complaining about us to the person in front of the line. I even asked her if this this was really a problem. She rolled her eyes and said "no. It's okay" and I said never mind and just left. I have no idea why this was an issue to have to see two ID separately, but we don't need this type of negativity when going out when there's plenty of other breweries around.

Food wasn't anything outstanding. Great selection of beer and nice atmosphere. Specifically we loved that the burger Buns were home made and they are a nice smaller size. Clam chowder wasn't anything special but nice and chunky. The chickpea bowl was a good size but overall a bit dry. The mushroom burger was good but also a bit dry.

This place is a gem! Tucked away off the street in downtown Oly, the atmosphere and service match the brews: high quality. When announcing 'I'm new' the help immediately began pouring me tastes until I found the right choice for me. They have a great resource for downtown food online (a great primer) a very nice patio, a comfortable 'working taproom' feeling with malt bags hanging from the ceiling... And best of all, very tasty beers with unique twists on solid style pedigree. Take beer to go, bring your own food, whatever. Three Magnets is the place for you. Highly recommend.

A very delightful brewpub in Olympia’s historic district. The beer was fantastic, highly recommend! The food, too, was delicious but their kids menu is a bit overpriced. Also, though the staff is very pleasant and helpful, the service is rather slow.

Beers are good. Great food. Restaurant and pub are separated but you can seat anywhereyou want. The server was nice too.

My partner took me here for the first time. Food is pretty interesting. Stopped to grab some appetizers, got the soft pretzel with the spicy berry sauce and garlic fries. Not really sure I liked the berry sauce but it was interesting. Both were pretty tasty! Got some cider there too. A little on the pricy side but decent. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and service was pretty quick.

Great drinks, took us to celebrate my oldest getting back to work. The food was great. The wait time for the food was it long. Good outdoor tables and music was great.

They have a very extensive selection of beers and they have N/A beers that will make you realize you can drink a N/A beer without giving up on flavor. Great place. Had World Cup on a looks like it would be a great place to watch soccer. The hats are so funny.

5 months ago, I posted the review below, expressing my distress over the closing of the kitchen. Without food, half of the motivation to visit 3 Magnets was lost. But the anticipated food trucks have arrived at last. A couple of the pop up options were disappointing (don’t bother with the sorry pizzas made in table top ovens). But last night, we lost our heads over the awesome food dished out by Akashic, a truck featuring South Asian influenced rice bowls and maybe the best grilled burgers ever. Creative, fresh, wildly flavorful food. TBH, Akashic serves food that far surpasses anything that used to come out of the 3 Magnets kitchen. If you used to be a fan of the beer but stopped visiting without food service, now you have an excellent reason to hurry back. Five months ago: Say it’s not true! No more food service? Just a brewery and no longer a brewpub? So sorry to hear that the kitchen is no longer economically viable but I fear that this will be the nail in the coffin. I’ll be really sorry if we lose 3 Magnets.

Drinks are decent, great selection of beers, ciders, non alcoholic drinks. The food is one to pass. Over priced and under seasoned 16 dollars would be fine if the burger actually tasted good. I’m leaving this review after eating here twice. First time I ordered the fish and chips and it was extremely under seasoned. Second time I tried the queso and it tasted like feet. I’m not sure if it was because of the cheeses used or the fact that it was served cold. I asked for it to be warmed and wait staff was super accommodating but it still tasted pretty foul. Cuban sandwich was dry and no where near the actual thing. While there my vegetarian friend was given a meat burger instead of the mushroom. Just go for the drinks if that skip the food

Love this place! If you are all about food and consider yourself a foodie this pub has great selections. Unique and staple items. Every time I am in town I stop in. I love this place so much I catered my wedding here. The chef is amazing and creative. The owners are responsive and genuinely great people.

Not allowed to dine in without proof of vaccinations. They offer outdoor dining but it's winter. Three magnets has always been an enjoyable place for me to enjoy brews and great food but sadly this doesn't work for me. If that's your cup of tea then I recommend the food and beers, otherwise there are plenty of other options that are just as good in the area.

Food and beer were delicious. Kinda pricey… I couldn’t order a 4-5oz pour - which meant that I poured out half of my $6 because I was too full to drink it all. I hated wasting the good beer and tried not too.. It is posted that masks a required but doesn’t see me enforced? I am 100% fine wearing a mask but don’t want to look like a jerk if one is required.

Fresh and colorful flavors, and a kitschy drink selection had me enjoying this beautiful sunny lunch date all the more as we enjoyed the outdoor seating option (indoor was also available). We tried the pork belly tacos and bucatini primavera with grilled chicken and both were great! Wasn’t as much of a fan of the cheese dip, but the other snacks and shareables looked worth trying. The sparkling lemonade was perfect for this warm summer day:)

Nice atmosphere near downtown Olympia. Had dinner here with a gal pal and would give an average rating. The waitress was a bit slow about refilling drinks and not very knowledgeable about the menu or beer selection. The Caesar salad was delicious, fresh! The sliders were good, but under seasoned, fries were ok, nothing special and the lamb burger was cooked perfect and tasted great.

The Nashville chicken and fish and chips were so good! The menu has definitely improved over the years. The beer is great too. Friendly staff, plenty of seating.

They are open and playing the World Cup game🍾 very hoppy smelling pub - seems like a good vibe!

Got the hombre burger with fries. The burger was so soggy the bottom bun felt apart while I tried to hold it (and the actual combination of specialty toppings was not as pleasant as the menu made them sound), and the burger "patty" was lumpy and undercooked in spots. The fries came out luke warm. Honestly good flavor on the fries, wish they were hot. This is one of the only meals in a long, long time I couldn't finish because of how unpleasant it was. For how ridiculously expensive the bill was, I would have expected at least hot fries... partner enjoyed their fish and chips but also had luke warm/soggy fries and didn't finish her plate. Might give it a shot with something else if I find myself in the area, but I wouldn't recommend it until I can actually finish a meal here.

This is hands down our favorite place to eat in Olympia!! We stop in every time we are in town. Nashville chicken and the Salmon salad is a must have every time. This place has a warm vibe and great beer. We love Three Magnets
