Hard to beat!! This is a great restaurant that is literally blocks from my house. The customer service is fantastic! The food and drinks are amazing! Highly recommended!

I mean the reviews speak for themselves…I’ve had to go twice in one week , check out their chicken and waffles very good portions (usually too much for one person) and appropriate pricing !! everything adds up ! Haha small local spot tricky parking, overall you won’t be disappointed

We stopped my this little cute neighborhood for lunch. The waitress recommended their famous fried chicken waffle so we went ahead with her suggestion and also ordered a side of fries. Fried chicken was delicious and juicy. Gravy flavor was a bit light but great combination with the chicken. The service was great. We were happy to have our lunch here before we head back.

Yummm! This has become one of my favorite restaurants in Oly. I love their cheese curds, anything with their fried chicken and their egg sandos for breakfast this morning was amazing! I also love that dogs are allowed on the patio.

Chilly…ok, cold, day! We sat at the bar to eat and it was like sitting by a fireplace! Perfect! Plus, we could see all the dishes being prepared before ordering. First up, made from scratch donuts rolled all round in sugar. Man, that hit the spot-several times! Went with biscuits and gravy-great biscuits, soft inside with a bit of resistance on the outside, gravy was a bit strong on the sausage but good gravy base. Also the chicken fried steak, yes, yes, yes. Friendly staff, lots of smiles but not overdone. Check ‘em out. Can’t wait to get the humongous pretzel with pimento cheese

This was not my 1st time eating there, but it's the 1st time I remembered to take a picture. I only got the one of my sandwich since I was meeting up with friends and was more focused on companionship and conversation. I will say the food is fabulous. I have never had anything I didn't like off the menu. If anything it's the reverse, I want everything from the menu! Cute small little local eatery bringing amazing food and a good drink selection to the neighborhood. Perfect for popping in after work or on the weekend to meet up with friends. Just have grace with parking, it's in a more residential zoning so no major parking garage. But I promise once you get a spot to park, you'll be happy you did once you taste the food!

Stopped in for our first time to have lunch. We watched as our pickle chips were hand battered and fried, and our meals were prepared. The food and service here was top notch, definitely recommend eating here.

We went for the chicken and waffles, but breakfast ends at 2. Really good fried pickle chips. The chicken with gravy needed something more. My guy had a chorizo burger, and it was super yummy.

Nice little neighborhood joint in Olympia. We sat outside on a beautiful PNW Sunday morning. The gravy is homemade and tasted wonderful. I had the chicken and waffles, the batter on the chicken was on point and the waffles were crisp.

The food wasn’t bad but it was great either. For the price I expected a bit more flavor. It was average. The food looked better than it tasted. I think Stack 571 is better. I was going to put 4 stars but then the waitress asked if we wanted a box and then never brought one. I stood at the bar waiting for one and no one even acknowledged I was there even though it wasn’t that busy and I walked out with my food in the wrapper my plate came with so I deducted a star.

The fried chicken was recommended by the waitress. Chicken is chicken breast so the meat is more on the dry side. No real flavor. The gravy tasted more like water than gravy. No real flavor. The fries were beyond salty! The salmon salad was good. Came with a lemon vinaigrette. Just wish the salmon and tomato were cut up and tossed with the salad prior to being served. Decent atmosphere if you're looking to talk or communicate with your date or companion.

1/29/23 - First time trying this place. I had the Chorizo burger and fries and my wife had the basic cheese burger and fries. I don't see a point going back. The chorizo burger was just ok, nothing I'd talk about to friends. It just wasnt very flavorful. The fries were not good at all, they lacked seasoning and were way over cooked/fried. They were very crisp on the outside and felt "hollow" on the inside. Same with my wifes fries, so it wasn't just mine. Our server was very nice.

Very good service and good food. Hard location to park at. Not slow at all. I always get the fried pickles and boneless chicken wings 🥵

Stopped by after reading the menu and it having all of our favorites. We ordered the fried pickles and fried cheese curds as a starter. The fried pickles were up there with the best I've had. The cheese curds were really good but the batter was a little greasy. I'm assuming from sitting in the basket over the grease a little to long. My cheeseburger was really good and so fresh along with the food from the rest of my party. My burger was cooked fully but still very juicy per the smash burger style. The others had the fried chicken and the chicken sandwich. Our server was so amazing and very stylish. I wish I remembered his name but am so bad at that. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the inappropriate conversation being had in the kitchen along with it being discussed very loudly. A girl named Amelia has a few fans in the kitchen. Other than all of this it was an amazing place that I would return to.

My girlfriend got a craving for fried pickles and State & Central came up, that was the best random craving ever. The staff was very friendly, the establishment was clean, the food and drinks were fantastic, and we ate way too much hahaha. Seriously if you like fried pickles, you have to come here, they were the best I've ever had, just be careful they come out SCREAMING hot. Light, crunchy, batter fried to perfection with a bit of pepper, comes with a side of ranch. The onion rings came out the same way with more of a cornmeal batter, not my personal favorite but still fried perfectly. Highly recommend visiting, family friendly, and we'll definitely be coming back next time we're in town.

Tasty smash burger after a long weekend of hiking! Wish they had avocado. The fries were also really good.

Stopped by for lunch to try the fried pickles and cheese curds. Both were amazing as well as the rest of the food we ordered. The portions were too large (we could have shared an order of fries instead of getting them with each entree) to finish but the food was great quality and we will be stopping by again the next time we are in the area.

A fabulous little spot in a quiet neighborhood. We've gone there for many breakfasts. The staff are very friendly and relaxed. Food is always terrific and they are cool with modifying to meet your needs.

Such a cute place with great staff. Unfortunately, arrived at noon and food was served cold and flavorless! The menu did not match the images attached to other reviews. Left hungry with a full plat of food remaining. 60.00 wasted.

The BLT sandwich was perfect. Probably the best sandwich I had in Olympia. Everything was fresh and well cooked. I love finding a place where they make something simple so good!

The restaurant was very small and limited amount of tables. The wait was a bit long but expected for a weekend. Service was great. Got cheese curds as an appetizer and they were great. Food was ok. Fried chicken didn't have much seasoning (except for the gravy on top). Chicken sandwich was also not seasoned well. However, wouldn't mind trying it again.

Great local restaurant. Outdoor seating in the summer is perfect. We love the cheese curds (best in town). The chicken and waffles for breakfast and the fish and chips for dinner are also our faves. Great servers and atmosphere.

Stopped in our way through Oly on I5. What a gem! Good honest smash burger! One of the best I have ever had. Excellent show string fries and great Coleslaw.

I had a chili dog. Nothing special. My raspberry lemonade was delicious. They have 3 or four parking spaces. It's a very small place....they have 2 tables that are for 4 people and several more tables for 2. Our waitress was friendly and efficient.

Parking is tough so be ready for that. Beautiful building with tons of tables inside and out. Quick, friendly service. My only complaint is I found the fried chicken meal lacking some sort of acid. Maybe a pickle on the side? It's a great combo of a meal but it leaves you wishing it had something acidic/sour. Maybe get some fried pickles to go with it. Still an excellent meal made by a wonderful local business.

This is a very nice smaller Restaurant and Lounge who should be at the top of your have to go list. The menu is on the smaller side, but the food is fantastic. I had the Onion rings and they were delicious. They are hand made on site and I had for My main course a double cheeseburger and homemade fries and My Wife had the special, Shrimp Salad with a lemon vinaigrette. They were both absolutely wonderful. For dessert we had homemade peanut butter chocolate pie. I wish that I had gotten 2 pieces to go. The Bar had a great selection of beers on tap and the service was impeccable. I should mention also the prices were very reasonable. You can't go wrong here. I have found a new place to be a regular
