First time trying South Bay on a recommendation. The food was amazing. Food was slow coming out, but it seems they are currently hiring, and that will hopefully resolve the wait times. Waiters were friendly.

Fun bar and amazing staff. I'm thrilled that they added the fried chicken Benny to the menu. Incredible Pub food here!

If you’re looking for some comfort food, this is the place! I enjoyed every bit of my veggie eggs Benedict. Recommend ordering the half size, as the full size is HUGE, and you will be full!

We stopped here randomly while we were on a drive. It was my birthday and we were looking for somewhere that had a great breakfast! We found it! This is the place to go to if you are looking for a delicious breakfast and a fresh squeezed OJ mimosa or an excellent Bloody Mary!! Service was on point on all aspects! We played pull tabs too! Again, did i mention the food was delicious? Also good vibes and positive atmosphere!! We will definitely be back even if we have to drive an hour!

It is a great pub with lots of brew options, some wines, and multiple mixed drinks. Although we didn't eat today; in the past, the food was good and plentiful. The regulars are a hardy group and are very welcoming and friendly. The waitstaff members are all very professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. All around, a magnificent spot for a brew and a bite.

Got a burger and fries. They forgot about my order and when they remembered the food was cold. It's bad to push your mistake on the customer, they should have just made it again. Burger was Stull good even lukewarm, fries a total loss.

Came here for Sunday brunch and it did not disappoint! I had the fried chicken Benedict with their country taters... SO MUCH FLAVOR. The service was great, prices are more than fair and there's a full bar (Pomegranate mimosa was delicious!). Can't wait to try something else next time!

First time for us to go. Been wanting to try for a long time. They were only serving breakfast today but that was fine. It was great! The homemade sausage and gravy was the best I've had at any place in the south sound. It is a must to have. The atmosphere was just what got would expect for this type of place.

I gave this place two chances. Both times the food was sub par, this time though, the service i received was hostile at best. I wanted to like this place. It is neat and clean and looks like a friendly neighborhood pub. However today, I am not sure if I somehow offended the server, or some other perceived offense, but even one word answers would have been better. I am not someone who goes around dropping bad reviews. I like to support local businesses, but today when ordering the waitress pretty much acted like we were annoying her by trying to patronize the place. When we entered we were not greeted. When we sat, we were not greeted. After a couple of minutes we were asked brusquely "What do you want to drink?" and when we answered, they left without a word. Just turned back and walked away. That was odd, but we thought maybe just a miscue. ok. We asked a question about a food item, and instead of trying to answer, we were told she didn't have that information, point blank. granted it was a pretty standard question for the item offered, so the reply was surprising. The tone was pure annoyance, mixed in with some "Hurry up and order" and a whole lot of attitude to boot. The rest of the evening continued in the same manner. Without going into detail, I'll say the wood was better than mediocre, but what will really keep me out of this place is the service. I will not be trying this place a third time.

I live just down the street and first went in long ago, but at that point they only took cash. I don't carry cash, so I didn't go back for years. I just happened to stop in a month ago for a beer, and now that they take cards I've been in a few times since. The food I've tried so far has been really good, comes out hot, and the wait is short. The kitchen staff is clearly on it. Prices are reasonable, and the food will fill you up. The pulled pork nachos stuffed me, as have the burgers. I actually asked if they have a smaller burger. I believe theirs are a half pound, and you won't leave hungry after one of them. Only suggestion would be different fries. They're thin cut, and seem to have a lot of little short pieces, so it's not as easy to grab a few. I prefer a thicker cut fry, but that's just a personal thing. I don't want to suggest that their fries aren't good. They are. Beer selection is pretty good too, and reasonably priced. Be aware that parking can be tight, but not much anybody can do about that. There is one particular server I wasn't thrilled with, who I won't name, but I won't be going in if she's working. I used to be a server, so I try to be as polite as I can, always. Say please, say thank you, say "can I have" instead of "I want", that kind of stuff. She'd bring me a beer, I'd say thank you, and she'd just turn and walk away like she was leaving a drink at an empty table. I figure maybe she's having a bad day, but she's laughing and joking with all the people who are obviously regulars, so I don't know. Just seemed like she couldn't really be bothered with a new customer. That was disappointing. Still tipped her, but would have been more with a little basic kindness.

Perfect neighborhood eatery. Wonderful staff, feels like home. Food is simple and delicious. Options for outdoor seating and the vibe is relaxing. Bartender plays good music to boot.

Oh my goodness! Awesome food!!! Three of us went and we all loved our respective dishes! The biscuits are out of this world, the sausage gravy, to die for! Steak, perfectly done, hashbrowns crispy and delicious. Huge portions! Energetic and bustling atmosphere, superb staff. And try the fresh squeezed orange juice mimosa!!!

I just love this place! The chef is fantastic! You can taste the passion for what he does in his food. Everything is made from scratch and you can tell. The portions are on point as well. The service is grand also. Kind, knowledgeable on the menu, and wonderful, cheerful dispositions. Definitely an A+++ experience everytime I go. I can not recommend them enough!!

I took my parents out to eat here on a sunday, i had been here previously with my mom on a weekend and ordered breakfast and it was delicious. Lets just say i had good expectations due to the amazing service and quality of food so i decided to come back for dinner. When i came back with my parents the service just wasnt there, the server checked on us 2 times to ask us what we wanted, to drop off the food and we waited for the check for so long i asked her when she walked by. The food quality wasnt there as my sandwich barely had any meat and my moms burger was overcooked. For how much the food was the quality didn't match.

Had my first experience at South Bay Pub and cannot wait to go back. The staff were so friendly and made us feel welcome, along with the regulars. Our breakfast was amazing but when I ordered my screwdriver, they made it with fresh squeezed oranges. FRESH. SQUEEZED. ORANGE. JUICE!

When you advertise as a bbq restaurant but the only bbq is nachos or tacos. Can’t even get a bbq sandwich. Lemonade taste like sweet and sour mix with water. I didnt even get my soda refilled, when it was empty before my food came out

Had the Funky Crunchy wrap. Absolutely amazing. I’ll be back for another. Service was great! One of my favorite local spots.

I’ve heard of this place by word of mouth for a year now, and we finally decided to drop in for breakfast. It didn’t disappoint; the food was hot and fresh, in big portions, and delicious. The only downside is that they only serve breakfast on weekends. 🤣 we will definitely be coming back!

OMG I live here and frequent all good cuisine. If you know Olympia, you will also know food may be good, but customer service is lacking. NOT SO at Southbay Pub. I walked in today at 8 am sharp. Line out the door. Melinda greeted everyone with a smile and charisma. Yes, you may wait, but the wait is worth it. If you want fantastic food by Chef Dave and the fresh squeezed mimosas, you don’t mind waiting for the Cheffrey or the Benedict’s.

Quaint, small town feel. Seems like everyone knows everyone. Their veggi burger and fries are delicious! The beer is great! The service is wonderful. Even the customers are all nice! We're new to the neighborhood and can see this being a regular place for friends and family to meet up.

Wow! What a great place. Went for the breakfast and looking forward to going back. The staff were all amazing. Oh, and did I mention they give you the option of fresh squeezed orange juice!? FRESH SQUEEZED!!!

Love this place. Great food, friendly service. Can be busy which makes it take a little longer sometimes, but it's worth it. Great eggs Benedict for breakfast. Try the fish&chips and the salads. Heck, everything I've had there is good! My husband loves the biscuits and gravy and the prime rib (Fridays).

Fantastic food and drinks! Highly recommend the Cheffrey for breakfast or brunch. The fried chicken was perfect! Delicious mimosa with fresh squeezed orange juice. My husbands Bloody Mary was yummy and the service was great! Will definitely be back!

Crunchy Fried Chicken and Bacon Salad.... Delicious. They take cards now. We haven't been in for awhile and we liked the new menu. Wait staff was super efficient and friendly.

Best kept secret of the Olympia area. Food is always amazing. My whole family always wants to eat here when they visit. You can't beat their breakfast. I love that they get creative with their lunch and dinner specials. Food is truly cooked from the heart here. Don't forget to get fresh sqeezed orange juice with your breakfast!

👍👍 It was good from the start. Ample parking, clean facility. Greeted right away with friendly service. Did I mention they serve breakfast all day. Prime rib on Fridays after 5pm and garlic fries. :) The food came out nice and hot. Hand breaded Alaskan wild caught cod and hand breaded local oysters. So...
