If you are looking for great beer at a fair price, visit the Eastside Club Tavern. Family owned and operated with great service and filled with 80 years of history. Pool tables, ping pong, and shuffle board all at top-notch conditions. Food available next door during certain hours or bring your own.

Service is all at the bar. They only accept cash and have an atm on site. The female bartender was nice enough. The male bartender was rude, and acted like waiting on us was bothering him. They do have pretty good food and they accept credit/debit cards.

I really enjoyed it there! We went on a Friday night to go and play Pool. It wasn’t extremely busy! They also have a pin pong table. We ordered fries at the restaurant next door and it was some of the best fries I have had.

Draft beer was not very cold. The pool tables make the place worth visiting It's by the hour and only 5 dollar. I would give thus place another chance once the weather starts to cool down

I have no idea about the food, but service and atmosphere seemed pretty average. They have a fake ID Wall of Shame, which is pretty cool. 3 pool tables, shuffleboard, and a ping pong table, too.

I have to give the place a 5 because of a few reasons. It has a large selection of beer and they are good. Beer is at a great low price. Parking outside is usually free. Music is decent. Best of all....... OPEN TIL 2AM. Stellar for Olympia to have a place that is open late like the. Normally places close at 10pm or 11pm. Draw back here is it is cash only and they don’t serve food but who cares, Taco Bell is open late!!!!

Cash only so be ready for that 1800s nonsense. Ok beer selection, big screen to watch sports or whatever, 4 pool tables I do believe, pay by the hour at bar. Good music. It's pretty dark in there and has more of a nap time vibe than party time but it's better than most bars in Olympia.

Went in for pool and had a good time with a few others today and it was super chill. Burgers apparently had a decent bun. Only complaint is they didn't have ice at the time for my water but service was spot on for five of us. Definitely grateful for the service and time.

One of Olympia's long-standing establishments, the Eastside Club Tavern, offers a unique blend of historic charm and comfort. While debate continues over which local bar is truly the oldest, there's no denying the Eastside Club's rich history and enduring appeal. The club operates on a beer and cash-only basis, featuring a diverse selection of local brews in a warm, welcoming setting. For "The Simpsons" fans, a few fun surprises behind the bar add an extra touch of whimsy. Despite not offering its 'own' food (popcorn and chips) there are options in and nearby, patrons are welcome to bring their own. The friendly staff and rotating tap list contribute to the tavern's charm. Remember to bring cash and enjoy one of Olympia's fun bars.

Besides the occasional wiff of weed smell that wafts through. This place is pretty low-key and relaxed. It has some pretty nice maintained 9-ft tables to rent hourly. Got a ping pong table off to the side and a shuffleboard on the opposite. Definitely coming back here.

This place is great if you like to play pool, shuffle board, table tennis, listen to music, and have a cool one. The best feature is the warm and friendly atmosphere. Great selection of brews, including my favorite non-alcohol drinks. The bartenders are literally Encyclopedia's of the local music scene past and present . It is notable of that they are truly "Experts" on what they have to offer. Steve is not only an area historian , he's a brewery industry guru (both macro and micro brews). The way he describes the brewery products, knowing the flavors and ingredients, location made et cetera is impressive. Want food ? There's literally a "hole in the wall" to the restaurant next door, and their food is exceptionally tasty. So you can stay put and keep playing your game or watch your favorite teams on the many TVs. Head that way now, I think I will... Bob Andrews, Olympia washington

Great spot for beers and an awesome chicken sandwich. Ping pong, pool, and shuffleboard all in great condition. Fun place to watch a game with friends. Loses one star for me for being cash only

Best bartender in town, besides the one at McCoy's up the block, who makes the rare trips that I take downtown after dark well worth the venture out. Either he's just incredibly intuitive when it comes to making drink suggestions,or he's known me for a little while. You decide. The berry flavored cider I had was the bomb diggity.. the only reason that I am giving this review a four star rating is because the bar was pretty busy and hopping, and I just didn't get enough facetime with the bartender like I used to back in the early 2000s.. It's a cool bar with a rich history.

It'd be 5 stars if they had PBR. It's a great place. Fun and comfortable.

I visit at least once a month for the special of the week. It's $5 and usually decent. What more could you ask for?

Can be fun if you want some pool but it's cash only and beer only. Chill spot to start off with a drink before hopping to a different bar

It’s my favorite bar in town. Excellent beer selection, welcoming relaxed environment. As a woman I feel comfortable going by myself to enjoy a beer while reading a book or to watch a game. Pool tables. Large screen for watching sports. They let you bring your own food. What else do you need? (Oh, and Danny and Adam are great!) :)

One of Olympia's oldest taverns - 3 generations of impeccable taste buds have operated this town favorite watering hole. So many delicious taps, local and regional. Historic atmosphere, I've seen many great shows here. It's my second home.
