Best bbq I have had in Washington! I highly recommend this place for BBQ. I'm so glad we tried it, and it was a crowd pleaser. They have single meals for individuals and then meat by the pound and 3 sizes for sides, which is great for the whole family.

Got there around 3:30. Was told ribs weren't going to be ready until 5pm. I'm not sure if it's always like that but just be aware. They seemed short staffed, had to wait about 10 minutes before they took our orders (there was a group of 6 people and then us). Server was not rude but wasn't particularly friendly either. Their margarita was a joke - not worth the $9 price tag. I guess we shouldn't have ordered something like that at a bbq place. Actual food was very delicious. Pulled pork sandwich was juicy and hot, cornbread and coleslaw were also good. Overall it was a good restaurant to visit.

I need to give a fair and honest review. First, I bbq and smoke lots of meat so I’m already a bit biased but this is my experience at this establishment. I ordered the three meat combo and returned the potato salad instantly. It was overloaded with raw onions. The baked beans were pretty good and the cornbread was great. The ribs were not tender or fall off the bone whatsoever. In fact, they hardly prepped them properly. They were tough and someone left the membrane on which is a cardinal sin. The pulled pork was overloaded with grease and had no flavor. You had to add bbq sauce to get any flavor. Most disappointing was the brisket. I was served part of the tip and not the flat which means there is more fat than meat (unless you prep it correctly). There was little to no bark ring, no pinkish meat and I’m very confident it was reheated. I’ve cooked hundreds of pounds of brisket over the years and I know what fresh brisket versus reheated brisket tastes like. In fact, it almost feels like the ribs and pulled pork were reheated or kept warm for a very extended period of time. Otherwise, the staff was kind and the beer was good. I’ve added a photo below of one of my briskets and this is how they should look.

Deven was awesome giving thelow down on my new BBQ restaurant and bar to chillax after a long day. Rob the bartender was badass with his great knowledge of South Bay Dickerson BBQ and the region of Otown. The kitchen staff and all the servers displayed excellent customer service to me and my guess. I highly recommend checking the Pig Bar from heaven 🙏🖤we appreciate you all. Peace Farmer J

Stopped in for a quick lunch break, not expecting much as BBQ can be a miss sometimes, but this place was excellent. Tinder, slow cooked brisket & pork with a nice smoke ring and just the right amount of fat for an authentic bbq flavor. Exceptionally delicious sides (Mac, potato salad). And the corn bread? Chef's kiss. The staff was so friendly and very kind with great recommendations. The atmosphere is rustic and fun, and the pinball machines were a surprise bonus. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Will be back soon!

Customer service is lacking food is great but employees are not very pleasant to work with. When calling in to place an order phone was having issues and I had to call in multiple times. When I arrived to pick up my food it was not ready Annie attempted to hand me out the wrong order. My order was not complete when she handed it to me food was also cold. I ordered. 4 meat combo with two orders of ribs brisket and pulled pork ribs were tiny compared to normal brisket that I was served contained a large portion of pure fat. Small things could of been looked past if atleast the employee had been please tell to work with and atleast seem like they wanted to help. It is a shame because the food tastes great.

I got the 2 meat combo and peach cobbler delivered. The mac and cheese was very good - actually cheesey, rather than saucey. The coleslaw was nothing to write home about. The veggies were crispy, but it was very light on sauce, which kind of tasted like apples to me. The meat should be the star of the plate, and while it was clearly a full sausage, sliced up, I felt that the brisket portion was a little light, and I love brisket, so that was a little sad. The cornbread was covered in a kind of honey butter glaze, for lack of a better word. I loved it, but if you’re not a sweet cornbread fan, beware. The peach cobbler was also really great. Sweet but not to sweet, with a solid cobbler. A side by itself, like coleslaw, or the peach cobbler, is $5.00, and that feels like a dollar or two too much for the portion size, but overall I would say I would gladly get BBQ here again. I would probably order the brisket another way, however, so I get a bigger portion of it.

Solid BBQ joint in the Olympia area. If you want some good BBQ then try this place. The atmosphere is what one might call original or old school. The sweet tea I had was good, my daughter's was ok. Brisket and ribs combo was my choice and I enjoyed it. Also the corn bread is served covered in honey. 2 BBQ sauces only, 1 sweet, 1 kinda spicy. Try the pin ball arcade... a room of only pinball machines was adjoining.

Waiter was nice and upbeat. I would have liked wet naps but he did bring me a warm towel. My husband thought the bbq sauce was too spicy, so, maybe put it on the side? I loved the food. Will return and recommend!!!

Food was okay. Ordered a half ribs and half brisket. The brisket was only 2 pieces and were small and a bit dry. The ribs were also only 2 pieces and were tiny and about 3 bites and the rest bone. The ribs were tender though. Mac and cheese lacked seasoning and cheese. For $30 worth of food I expected a bit more meat. Service was good, waitress was very kind.

This was my first experience with Washington BBQ so I really didn't know what to expect. I had smoked triscuit it was so dry. The cobbler was good at best. Mac and cheese lacked flavor. The star of the show was the cornbread though. I wouldn't return. Pros: The cornbread - friendly cashier - big portion Cons: Dry brisket - sauce flavors - paid parking - bathroom doesn't lock - ribs okay at best Insta- t_mo_swagglio23

Everything was so amazing ! I’m from Texas and it’s been so hard to find a place with beef brisket that’s not dry but wow this was so juicy! Everything fell off pulled pork had so much flavor worth the money

Called for takeout and they were out of pulled pork, so ordered the brisket and chicken 2 meat, and the same with ribs for my husband. I would be giving the service a 5 star, except they gave us one wrong side in the 2 meat. The food was delicious. The brisket and chicken were both tender and seasoned well and could be eaten without BBQ sauce, which was tangy with a little kick. The food isn't getting a 5 star because I have eaten the same or better BBQ for much less than what you're paying here for a 2 & 3 meat plate. IMO, still good but a bit overpriced.

Love, love the meat here. The brisket it amazing and the hot links (please make more as you are often out) are so good! Only bad-I got a lb of brisket at $25 per lb, and there was 3 ounces of big chunks of fat. Yes, I know brisket is fatty, and I expect some fat, but not great big pieces of fat with no meat on it.

The food was good and service was super fast. Very friendly staff and the music was great. I would definitely eat here again.

I want to like this place more because the brisket has pretty great flavor. BUT I have never had meat this dry not sold as jerky. Again, tastes great, but crazy dry. Also, my previous 2 attempts at getting brisket from them were failures as they were out of brisket. They open at noon, out of brisket by 1. Wasted trips across town make for frowns. Call ahead.

Dined in on a Friday night with my family for a birthday party. Everything was delicious. I had the prime rib special and it was a perfect medium rare. Served with a salad that was fresh cut and a loaded baked potato mmm. I also samples the ribs which were tender and flavorful, the pulled chicken was awesome and the coleslaw was fresh and crispy. The Service was on point in the bar and the restaurant side. I will be back. Oh and don't skip the peach cobbler, I got the last portion of the night which I'm glad of cause I could have sleighed 3 portions... I'm stuffed

Another nearby BBQ joint closed for the month and didn't bother to let us know our catering was cancelled for a wedding. These fine folks came up with an absolutely mouthwatering feast for thirty people with little notice. The ribs were absolutely to die for, with smoked flavor you could taste did not come from a bottle. Pulled meats, melt in your mouth tender. We have leftovers. The portions were generous. 10/10 would absolutely recommend this for any picnic or BBQ and we will be back for the anniversary BBQ.

My favorite was the slow smoked beef brisket it was absolutely delicious the beef was so soft, easy to chew and just the right amount of seasoning. I added more BBQ sauce because I was curious how there sauce would taste and it was great. I definitely recommend them if your in Olympia, WA looking for a good savory BBQ spot.

I hadn't been here since the pandemic, but was hankering for BBQ. As we pulled up to the building I recognized it and smiled. It was lunchtime and we got sandwiches and cole slaw. That is quite the bun. I got two sauces, liked them both, one a bit spicy, but well within my enjoyment zone, the other was sweet, and I thought I tasted cinnamon. Little bit pricey, but worth it.

It's okay. Crowded inside when there's a band, very little dancing space. Outside was okay. layout not the greatest for viewing comfortably. Band started late. Dogs allowed near band and dance floor.

There was only two person working in the restaurant, cooking, serving and handling the cashier. So, not much of quality of service and pretty low speed so the food sat there and got cold before it got to my table. The beans were raw and hard. The Coleslaw was tasteless and the beef brisket sandwich itself wasn’t the best I’ve had.

Large servings. Clean atmosphere. Nice staff. Peach cobbler a little too dry for my taste but it was ok. The sausage, brisket, and pull pork were tender.

Brisket and ribs were deliciously tender while the sausage had a nice smoky favor along with the bbq beans. The freshly squeezed lemonade was refreshing. Before you leave take some of the peach cobbler. Everything was complemented by friendly staff.

Great food but even better staff! Huge rush at open and both workers were friendly and hustling to help everyone. Will not be disappointed at all in food or service. Recommend to anyone to try if you’re reading this.

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with baked beans and potato salad. The potato salad tasted sour like it had gone bad. The BBQ sauce on the beans was disgusting and tasted like vinegar. The pulled pork sandwich was dripping grease all over my hands and the plate it came on. I ate one bite of each and stopped eating immediately. Hands down the worst meal that I've ever paid for, ever.

Delicious! Kinda outta our typical path but worth the trip! I've found the PNW kinda lacking in good bbq. Now we've got a place! Pulled pork was on point. Corn bread excellent. The fiancé loved the ribs and brisket.

I had two meat dinner and the sausage was good but the brisket was phenomenal super tender good smoke ring and the flavor of the bark was amazing. Can't wait to stop here again when I'm in town again.
