I haven't been here for a long time, it's definitely a dive bar with the usual amount of local folks. Thier breakfast was great and the cost was good. Drinks were fine also. Kimmie is a great bartender, we'll be back

Nice special's and great tasting food and I love Thursdays 6.50 dollar burger and fries mmmmmm, Well Tuesdays are Taco day special but I added there delicious onion rings mmmmm, well I'm here eating at the viking having the 5 dollar burger day with fries 11/7/19 mmmmm,well I'm adding some more picks on their food that's just really good, I no it's a bar with food but it does not mean you have to drink because I always have a glass of water with a lemon slice, its 12/13/2019 with new food pics for you to look at. 12/18/19 at noon and I'm having homemade meatloaf sandwich with their tasty onion rings mmmm.Well I'm here at the viking having there burger dip an crinkly fries mmmmmm. Went for an retirement get together of Govt service of 32 years. Nice staff, great drinks, and karaoke 🎤. They have great sanitizing method, every 20 minutes they break, and after each singer they sanitize. GREAT ESTABLISHMENT. GO Viking. I will drive up from Tacoma for karaoke. Just know they are professional here, they can sing. For Real. Dont get embarrassed. They serious about they Karaoke. I would have liked a bit more of attention from my waitress. But giving the benefit of doubt, this spot was packed.. my now karaoke place. V.

The Vikings Lounge got me through a very difficult time in my life. I visited multiple times because it was nearby, and I tried my hardest to create havoc many times, and was always successful when trying. The element that makes The Vikings Lounge an exceptional establishment is their consistency. The security is always secure, the bar is always honest, the food is always good. The Vikings Lounge appeals to all age groups. Expect comfort and a relaxing environment Mondays-Wednesdays. Expect loud music and drunk Millennials/Gen X/BabyBoomers/Gen Z’s Thursday/Friday/Saturday. Expect superior service always. The Vikings Lounge has set the “bar” for the Olympia/Lacey area. People travel from other municipalities to visit The Vikings. Do yourself a favor and get your body in there. Oh, they have Karyoke as well. Don’t sit on the tables. Nice little bar just on Martin way. Good atmosphere with lot of activities like karaoke and bingo. Drinks are very good. The margaritas were outstanding. They seem to have a good selection of beers as well. Would go again.

Local bar restaurant. I was hungry so I ordered the Viking burger which is enough food for two. It was 11 AM and there were probably 15 customers, so guessing it gets pretty busy on Friday night. Important tip, don't try to eat the Viking burger in your car, too big and juicy for that.

Definitely a hole in the wall, had so much fun here and the security guard is cute 😩 😚

Great bar food done really well. Our bartender Sam was so sweet and took amazing care of us. She was also super helpful in ordering a custom sweatshirt for a souvenir. Loved it!

Great place, good atmosphere, interesting clientele. Amazingly strong drinks I would suggest getting a designated driver if you are going to drink more than one and go anywhere. Luckily we were able to Uber home otherwise I don't believe I would have made it down the block.

I honestly don't get why people put down this bar. Mikey and the service staff here are friendly and respectful. The food is pretty good. They have karaoke every night. I do recommend it.

The best taco Tuesday ever. Went here 16 years ago and they've only gone up .50 cents in that time! Will be coming back whenever I'm in the area!

At first I kind of thought this hidden treasure was another run of the mill hole in the wall without any sense of civility. So I avoided it like the plague, easy to do as I don’t consume alcohol. Then my partner persuaded me to eat a burger there. The food is Americana Standard but good quality. Everything was good. The service is top notch, especially considering the bartenders are also the servers. In this day and age, appearing as anything other than a member of the regular crowd is dangerous, either socially or otherwise. I’ve always been polite and unassuming, but I’m well aware that my partner and I could present as being members of the marginalized communities (which we are, proudly, though we have been repairing our lives…. It’s one step at a time, one day at a time), and that usually brings with it suspicion, anger, and even fear. It’s sad that a very few members of the community as a whole could do so much harm that their actions are attributed to all of the community. The staff and customers at the Viking are remarkable in the fact that after our second visit, we were accepted into the fold as what we are: Customers respectful of the establishment. Thank you for that, you have no idea how appreciated that is.

I was only there for a short time on a Saturday night but the drinks were poured well, not from a mix. The bartender was open to making something new and the prices were good. The music was loud and the patrons were mostly in there 20's but the atmosphere was good.

I come here to play darts. It is a bit cramped and on the weekends you get the annoying drunks , and getting a drink can be a long process. Otherwise, chill dive bar with diverse crowd.

Bartenders can easily get overwhelmed due to the bar only have one serving station. This caused a bottle neck on the others specially on busy nights. Also, noticed that the bar lacks of a bar manager. Seems to me most of the bar operations responsibility lies on the staff make sure the bar operations runs ok. There is no one on the floor sorting out or providing any backs ups to the bartenders. This is a huge mismanagement issue in my opinion.

Great spot for what it is. Your local dice bar, corn dogs, stiff drinks, friendly staff karaoke. It is a great spot and I love that they are there.

We're pretty new to the viking and we love it. I just wish they'd bring back the nay nay girl or the cute boy with braids (sorry I forgot your name) to host karaoke. The host last night was absolutely horrible. We waited 2 hours to sing 1 song yet watched him put the same girl up 3 times within 30 minutes. I didn't stay there super long, but I likes my time there! It has a definite "dive bar" vibe, which I love. They had karaoke, friendly staff, a backyard area with TVs so you can watch the game, and the food was good!

Some people knows my childhood and lie about it, fine, good, but there's too many deuche bags left in your place at times, 2 when I went there found them in the wrong toilet room so I reported them, big deal, I had a decent time I just think alot I appreciate you and, your place is a nice place to have a peacemeak drink or awesome food, thanks...!!!

Food has really gone downhill. Food use to be so much better! Had chicken fried steak for breakfast and the gravy was awful, tasted like it came from a can. Love this bar but will only come drinks from now on. Will not be eating here again.

Viking lounge has the best bar food. You"ll get great serves from yr bartender's. Yr afternoon girl Rani Mon through Friday makes the best drinks. The atmosphere in the bar is like going to yr friends party fun and friendly. Yr love it. ... Niki

Steak night. Possibly the BEST New York strip I've ever eaten. Cooked sooo perfectly. Absolutely scrumptious. The rest of the menu was fairly exciting as well making us wish we could afford to eat out daily. Prices were great. Why would you ever eat fast food when the same amount of money buys a wonderful meal like this?!!

Average age on a Friday night is 30-35. Met some new people in the time I was there, which was the first time. Pretty casual, it was packed. No room to dance, and I don't think there's a dancefloor there if a person wanted to dance. Nice bartenders and staff.

Kinda the coolest dive bar you can go to. It's a hole in the wall type place you would keep going back for. The burgers are uumm good! Nice friendly patrons and wonderful staff. On top of that you can enjoy pool and bar games. Oh and don't forget to KARAOKE!

I really enjoy hanging out with my friends at this establishment. It can get a little crowded at times, but I've never had a problem getting my order, the employees are very nice, and it's a good environment.

Went here on a Friday night for Karaoke. Not gonna lie I was a bit skeptical but had an amazing time once I entered. Everyone was friendly. The bouncers, bartenders, and Karaoke DJ were great. The French fries where great to snack on. The line for the bar can get a little confusing but all in all you still get your drinks and they are very nice. Go check it out. Ding your heart out and have a nice time at bar that you can feel comfortable in.

We didn't eat here, but we did drink. The bartenders were courteous and maybe not stingy with the drinks! It was a fun night with some cool karaoke and a lot of fun conversations!

The door to the outside smoking area was wide open, so I left with a sore throat. The drink pour was modest, and everyone who was doing karaoke was having fun, but the speakers were spaced throughout the bar, so there was nowhere to get away from being blasted in the ear. I don't plan on going back.

There were 3 girls working. One with sort of long black hair, a blonde and a curly hair girl. My friend and I went in here, she ordered a White Russian, the girl with black hair she ran out if Kalua which is what goes into the White Russian I’m sure ANY bartender should know this. Instead of getting a new bottle, she just left the drink how it is and gave it to my friend. The whole time my friend and I are sitting at the bar they’re too busy flirting with the customers instead of helping us. Honestly I just wouldn’t go back to this bar if these 3 girls that look like they’re in high school are working. Do they even have license to make drinks? Or do they just hire anyone? I wish I could put no stars.

The staff is always friendly!! This is a small little hole in the wall bar that also does karaoke!! Their food is always super good. It does tend to get busy on Friday nights. So if you want the quieter crowd definitely come early.

I used to like going here but this place has really declining in there customer service. Kareoke Line to long to get in for Keroke and it a good thing bar tenders don't need tips. I literally sat at the bar passed by over 10 times, finally responded with I'll be there soon. 20 more minutes I walked out.
