This is my favorite restaurant in Olympia!!! I highly highly recommend this place!!! This place is straight amazing for Saturday brunch! Best breakfast I have had in OLY! We all loved it so much that we are making it a reoccuring brunch spot for our group monthly! This place is straight amazing, and I can't wait to go again. Service was amazing, vibe was amazing...food was delicious! You can purchase the pasta to go and cook it yourself at home, and it's delicious!

Pretty good food. The waitress was awesome and very knowledgeable about what the place had to offer. Maybe it was an off day for me but I wasn't that happy with my meal but the wife really enjoyed hers. We'll give it another day in court to get a better feel for the joint. We both would like to sit outside next time we visit. Seemed real nice out there.

This was my first time at Mercato but as an Olympia native, my husband has been going here for years. He really hyped this place up but I was not disappointed. Everything we had from the drinks, to the apps, to the pasta and dessert was absolutely delicious. We got really lucky to sit at the chefs table for our date night and it was such a great experience! I can tell you the chefs put so much care and effort into the food and everything is brought out to the tables so quickly. It made me appreciate the service industry even more. We will be back.

Nice restaurant and atmosphere. The menu has some great choices for pizza pasta or salad all with a great Italian flair. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was excellent full of flavor with a nice presentation. Great space for an intimate meal or small groups

Disappointed is what most of us felt like. We had a gathering of 15. The establishment has a warm and welcoming feel to it. The staff was amazing. All of the dishes looked beautiful. We are Italian and share small portions and pass it around. I don’t know if it was because it was a Sunday evening, but the food lacked flavor. It was on the subtle side on the pasta dishes. The two salmon dishes were over cooked and dry. The two steak dishes were charred on the outside and gave the flavor off burnt meat on a dirty grill. But the two kid loved the pizza. If you like real Italian try another restaurant. Like I said maybe it was because it was a Sunday.

Excellent Italian food. Great service and ambience. Mus accommodative to wheelchair folks. They have high chairs for the children also. Restroom are clean. The food is prepared meticulously and fresh right there. Watching them Cook is like attending TV show. This is a great place to have meetings and gatherings with larger groups, because they have a conference room in the back.

Went to a seminar here that included a free meal. Was given the choice between steak, salmon & chicken penne. With either a soup or a salad. The salmon was a bit dry, and I didn't care for the couscous, but I think I just ordered poorly because the steaks looked fabulous & the pasta was nice. The chairs were horribly uncomfortable, I recommend you bring a cushion if you go to a meeting or seminar there. Was disappointed I couldn't even buy my own drinks to have a cocktail, but not really surprised.

An amazing Italian restaurant where they make all the pasta in house. Pumpkin ravioli and house white are excellent. Try the wine & antipaste platter. For dinner, try the steak and my favorite strozzapsti. The bourbon bread pudding for dessert was perfect. Fanatics, we'll be back!

Such a cute little Italian restaurant. The food was great, loved the atmosphere. The open kitchen in the back with the wood fire stove was absolutely beautiful. Would highly recommend for a family or a date night.

Second time here. First time was lunch - Caesar salad and the Sicilian pizza both (pizza great, salad average). Came for brunch today and they had one of my favorite brunch dishes: shakshuka! It was delicious. The crispy prosciutto and ciabatta croutons were great additions. Unfortunately the egg yolks were cooked hard, but that was the only downside. Service was wonderful both times.

Had a pretty unfortunate experience here tonight. The focaccia was stale *and* soggy with balsamic, and the pumpkin ravioli was overcooked and lacked umami. The service is fine. To the restaurant’s credit, the polenta in gorgonzola sauce is great. We were very excited to try this restaurant but won’t be returning. The quality is just subpar compared to the prices.

Very decent Italian restaurant here in Olympia downtown. We had team dinner with group of 12 and Mercato offers amazing food, friendly service Polenta Fritte: This is just OK, I do not feel much taste except mushroom & gorgonzola sauce. Fried polenta was not done properly Eggplant: The eggplant parmesan is the best and I loved it Prawns Caprese: This is also very good, but could use some more flavor Mains: This is amazing and delicious and my colleague love Salman: It very hard not so juicy. I felt this is just ok ok dish. Drinks and Desserts: my entire team became fan to Drinks and Deserts. Deserts are really wonderful and amazing taste. For sure you will get addicted to their deserts. Their service outstanding. Decently I will recommend this place if your around Olympia.

My experience at this restaurant was a large party for my girlfriend’s birthday, and I was beyond shocked how spectacular the service was. They provided a great space for over 20 people, they constantly made sure everyone had their drink, and I really enjoyed the pizza. I thought it was very nice of them to do separate checks for everyone as well. Their hard work did not go unnoticed! We look forward to come back as a family.

Amazing food! First time here, and I will eat here again and again. Had the Strozzapretti, Chicken Penne, and Steak Salad. Even ordered a couple pizzas to go! All amazing!

Very nice place. Liked the service and food was great. We tried soup, pizza, pasta and beef shoulder. Meat was very tender and juicy. 👍 But I would agree with my wife that it would be better to accompany it with grilled veggies. But I have to say rice-looking pasta was also delicious and unusual. Thank you.

Decided to try out for Valentine’s Day dinner with my sweetie. Nice ambiance inside. Outside wasn’t available because it was winter but they have outside seating in the summer. We began with a starter was with Antipasti meat/cheese plate. Fresh and phenomenal quality prosciutto and mozzarella. Had a glass of white house wine and my gal got a lemon drop. Wine was quite good. Lemon drop missing a bit of pizzazz. For main course we split a peperoni pizza and Caesar salad. Unfortunately half the pizza was burnt but they replaced the pizza right away. The waiter was right on top of everything. Very good service here. The (unburnt) pizza was tasty. It’s a thin artesian style pizza. Dough flavor was a bit bland, nothing spectacular but toppings were high quality and flavorful. Overall it was a good experience but I’ve had better Italian fine dining. Price tag came in at $100. A bit high for what we got. With that said, still worth a visit. Only recommend sharing single plate and a salad. Skip appetizers and drinks if you want to keep cost down. Also if you can get the corner table facing the chefs in the back, get it! Sweet location and private.

What an amazing upscale Italian restaurant here in Olympia. We stopped by for a team dinner on a cold Tuesday evening. We had a reservation so could bag the inside room for a larger group like ours. We ordered the following items: 1. Eggplant: Kinda like the eggplant parmesan but with mozarella. This was good and their marinara sauce tasted fresh 2. Polenta Fritte: Devoured their mushroom & gorgonzola sauce which paired well with the fried polenta 3. Prawns Caprese: This was really good and the tomato+mozarella served with the prawns were delicious too 4. Mains: Tagliatelle (with shrimp, white wine and Garlic sauce), Ravioli, Penne, Grilled Salmon Salad & Panino Caprese. All our mains were delicious except the Panino Caprese was a tad too greasy for some of my colleagues. The pasta was freshly made and their sauces were to die for. Their salmon was fresh and perfectly cooked too. 5. Margherita Pizza: Thin crust nice snacky Margherita pizza. Loved it and it was so light we dint mind eating a slice in between our delicious pasta too 6. Desserts: Please do yourself a favor and same some appetite for their freaking awesome desserts. We tried their Tiramisu (one of the best I have ever had), Siciliano (chocolate gelato with nuts and blood orange liqeur AMAZING) & bread pudding which was good too. 7. Drinks: Old Fashioned (they make a very good old fashioned unlike some other places which add loads of sugar syrup this place does it perfectly balanced) and they have loads of wine options too. We liked their red wines (I dont remember which one we ordered) Service was great and food was out quick. I highly recommend this place and we certainly devoured our meal here. Definitely one of my fav italian dining options in Olympia.

My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous meal at the bar (our choice as they have seating as well). Their pasta is made in-house and was extraordinary with the shrimp. They also had a good selection of craft brews (happy wife happy life) while I enjoyed a cocktail. The atmosphere and customer service was superb as well. Definitely on our "must stop" destination next time we're in town.

We had a nice date night at Mercato. We had bread and fritto misto as starters. The fritto misto was a huge serving and had salmon, calamari and white fish. The pizza was delicious and the fat spaghetti was alright. I was hoping for a bit more flavor. It was a nice quiet place.

Good price point for quality product. Ate a salad, chicken, eggplant appetizer, cappuccino, and Pinot Noir called Saint Joseph's. Everything looked beautiful, large portion to be honest... The service was excellent from a server named Megan but in general the staff was friendly, gracious, and helpful.

We are never disappointed! Great pasta and pizza, and if there’s room for a little extra, their appetizers and desserts are just as tasty! Decent wine selection and cocktails are delightful. We miss their brunch, because that was also a fantastic selection! In the meantime, we will enjoy their flavorful lunch and dinner. Great service and both indoor and outdoor seating when weather permits.

We had the chicken penne pasta and it was not to my liking but the wife loved it. Also shown is their bread they bring as an appetizer. Great place to kick back and enjoy a glass of wine or sit outside and enjoy the fresh area and amazing wood smells coming from the logging company across the street. A little loud inside due to How many people but a good date night spot for some good Italian food.

I came in on an early Saturday evening with my family. At first the host trying to tell me that they do not take walks in on that evening due to some kind of an event. After a few minutes the manager stepped in and said she had a cancellation and seated us. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the vibe. The food was great, the portions was fair. This particular Italian restaurant doesn’t have all the traditional pasta dishes. So if you are looking for good pasta dishes than this may disappoint you. 🤪
