First time dining here and had a great experience with very friendly and attentive service from Ruby. Loved the impossible burger and the potato bun it was served on. The turkey bacon club had great flavor but would've been even better if there was just a bit more turkey. Fries were really good, although 30 more seconds in the fryer would've made them perfect. The marionberry cheese pie and Dutch apple pie were fantastic. Nostalgic atmosphere that reminded me of the classic breakfast cafes of my childhood. Really good prices as well. Looking forward to trying their breakfast next time.

Amy was our waitress for a party of 8. She was absolutely fantastic. She was timely and friendly, even being the only waitress there. Great food, breakfast is open all day (even the full breakfast menu) and has lots of vegetarian options. And of course the pies are great. Special shout out to Amy for handling our party of 8 like a champ. Go eat there now!

Well presented meals that were crispy, tasteful, and well plated. The waitress had amazing serving skills, and was very attentive throughout our meal. I apologize I never got her name for better recognition, but the woman with the short blonde hair and glasses - thank you for the incredible service. We didn’t have to wave her down or wait too long since she was on top of everything we needed. Not only was the service amazing, but the meals were surprisingly delicious and a complete step up from any chain diners we’ve been to. 10/10 experience, loved it here.

Hate giving poor reviews. But... The wait was a lot. I get covid restrictions hamper a lot with that. So we waited. (Party of two) Finally got seated. Took sometime to get a drink order in. Hostess ended up taking it along with our food order. We didn't get the coffee asked. Restroom was clean. Well stocked with needed items. Restaurant was a tad chilly. Ended up leaving my coat on. We weren't visited again until our food was brought. Maybe 40 minutes after being seated. Was then my husband got his coffee, after asking again. Food was good. Very flavorful and just the right portion. A+on the food quality. Not sure I would eat at this location again. Just because of the wait, the service (taking an order, getting it right and how often the wait service checked in on us or the lack there of) and how cold it was.

Horrible! I just had THE worst experience with the manager. So me and my family frequent this place very often as we live right down the street. Now that I know how they treat their customers I WILL NOT BE BACK. We ordered $70 worth of food this morning for breakfast. We waited an hour which was to be expected and we didn’t mind because we know Shari’s is “quality”. Well guess what we were missing sausage, oatmeal, the hash brown and egg were mixed together and everything was thrown around. I called the manager and asked if she could replace it. I was told no. I asked if she could refund it if I brought it back, no again. I understand it need to be refunded through Uber eats. Ok. Then I asked if she could talk to her employees about this because it’s very unfortunate and it sucks. At what point she made sure I know she’s not going yo address it at all and sorry about my luck. Well lady sorry about your luck because you lost a loyal customer. I have had issues before here and the male manager has always made it right so it’s never been a big deal. Now I know where the culture of not caring about customers come from in your establishment. You are a terrible manager and should absolutely NOT have a job in customer service. You were rude and dismissive and petty. Good day.

Great food, great service. The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly as was the eggs benedict. Can't beat Shari's.

Yummy pies! Great menu but the waitress should let her customers know before they order when they ran out of an item on the menu they were ordering. Twice in a row we've had to ask for a missing item that was part of our order only to be told that they were out. We were charged full price without being told part of our order was missing until we asked; only then were we provided with an alternative/substitute. No apologies for it either😓 We noticed 3 other customers seated near us that had the same issue. Shari's is a good Restaurant, great delicious menu. We love their pies a lot. One of the many reasons we love eating at Shari's. But we want to leave a "Constructive Review" for one of our favorite Restaurants; so that they can improve on some of their Customer Service Staff. Btw not all of their waiters and waitresses are this way. Infact we've met some of the friendliest waitresses/waiters at Shari's both at Pacific Ave and at Martin Way. We want Shari's to continue being one of our favorite Restaurants in our Community for a very long time.

Good selection of pies. Our breakfast was freshly made and delicious. My coffee and water stayed full and our server was efficient even though they were busy. The breakfast burrito with meat alternative was very good with a side of hash Browns. They offer a military and veteran discount of 10%. Good menu selection all items are served all day.

Seated promptly. The restaurant was busy. The server arrived with a smile and asked us if we wanted anything to drink. Ordered coffee for me, hot tea for my wife. Items were brought to the table quickly. Then, we placed our orders with the server. Food arrived in good time, food was hot and both orders were correct. The server made sure my coffee cup was never empty, and my wife's tea was the same. The server was very pleasant and offered suggestions on breakfast. Was attentive but not intrusive. Will definitely return !

Warning to those who go. That they have a grumpy cook who'll cook how he wants. Ordered the tomato avocado eggs Benedict. The eggs were hard.Had to send back. Even tho waitress had written soft poached. Been there before where food wasn't made correctly. The wait staff will tell you he's grumpy and doesn't really care. It's ashame they allow such an employee to be around. Otherwise it's a good place for comfort food and great pies.

A classic favorite of mine with many great memories from the nineties. Delicious pie, of course! If you haven't had Shari's pie, you best get some soon! The food was fresh and flavorful along with being reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and prompt and offer a welcoming environment.

The waitress Lyn was phenomenal. She started her shift early because they were slammed and hit the ground running. She stayed right on top of taking care of us. The food was good. My dad ordered a seniors breakfast, I ordered a 2 egg breakfast with substitution, and the hubby ordered biscuits and gravy. ALL the eggs and potatoes had cooled down. We let Lyn know, and she offered to bring out new ones. I told her mo, cuz it was edible still, to please just let the cons know to not leave things in the window like that. She did, and we finished our meal. When we asked for the check, she asked what kind of pie we liked because Shari's was buying us a slice. I would go back there, no problem. We've never had bad service from the waitresses.

Go here often. What's not to like? Great service, food. The places are always clean. The two we've been to in Lacey are the best because of their amazing staff: servers, cooks, greeters. They're the reasons we go back. They make me smile just thinking about them.

We only needed a slice if hot pie and a lg scoop of ice cream. We had an attentive waitress and were seated and served right away! It's nice they anticipate patrons look forward to a wide, available selection. It'd so disappointing when we get "Sorry. We're out of that.” We had a pleasant, relaxing time before our long drive home.

The wait person was awesome, as was the man at the register when we paid. He sold us one of the best Marion berry pies we have ever tasted!!

Like all shari's the food isnt anything special but the service here was out of this world. I noticed they either knew the patrons or made the effort to get to know us. They really tried to make us feel like family.

The food is good, but they're a little limited on options. It all feels like VERY old fashioned diner food. The high point is the pies, and the shakes that they'll blend them in to. Staff can also be hit or miss. Twice I had some of the nicest waitstaff that I've had the pleasure of meeting, once was someone who really just wanted to take an order without so much as a greeting.

Gross. Plain and simple gross. Prime rib? "Big chunks of beef fat" would be a better name.

  • 2/5 Dave Z. 4 months ago on Google
Had the Turkey dinner. Turkey and mash potatoes were hot. But the Turkey was really salty. The stuffing was meh. And the rice pilaf was cold (gross.....and dangerous...) and the broccoli in the rice pilaf was not only cold but shriveled and a sickly greenish brown..Questionable at best. Informed the waitress and she said she would let the Cooks know. (I use the word cook loosely, her words not mine) but no offer to discount or comp (or bring a barf bag) in any way shape or form......

My wife was in the hospital. Getting a hard procedure done came here. I have been to the type of establishment My wife was in the hospital. I've been to the one in Roseburg. Oregon and had the prime rib beef dip. Well, maybe I shouldn't have had it for breakfast. Because that was a prime rib sandwich which they phoned in to arby's. It was nasty, but the service and the waitress are really good. Must have been because you can't get a good lunch meal for breakfast time or something. I don't

Five Stars for my server Debbie. She is amazingly friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food is mediocre, not much flavor to the scrambled egg, bacon, pancakes or syrup but I’ll be back for Debbie’s service.

I love this Shari’s. I am a regular at this establishment on Saturday and Friday nights, and I love the staff who work here. Since I am actively involved with the local high school theatre program, I often organize groups to come to Shari’s after performances and this most recent time one of my favorite servers, Ruby, got the staff to agree to stay open late for us. The staff here is incredibly nice and they always serve with a smile. They truly care about their customers and I will always come to Shari’s for my late night eating.

Food was made excellent! Service & cleanliness as well. My issue was with corporate, I seem to remember a bigger omelet selection. That's all, the one I ordered was very good.

We love Shari’s! The atmosphere is always great, the waitstaff and kitchen are quick but don’t let that fool you; they never sacrifice quality for speed. Don’t forget the pie; we took home a marionberry cheese pie recently and it’s the perfect pie for with summer on the horizon!

We went for pie Sunday during an impromptu day in Olympia. The server was awesome. The pie was wonderful as always and even the coffee was good. We tipped our server $10 for a $17 total bill. The server really makes or breaks a customer experience and we even had fun just out for pie 🥧 and coffee ☕.

The food here is nearly always excellent. They actually cook steak better than the more upscale restaurants. Amy was very efficient and friendly. She hasn't seen us in quite some time and she's not our usual server, but when she saw us in the parking lot, she put in a fresh pot of decaf and got "our table" ready. It's hard to go wrong with the servers here.

Stopped for lunch. There was 7 of us. Didn't have to wait for a booth. Got menus and ordered pretty quickly. The wait wasn't bad till we got our food. Everyone said their food was very good. We had a combination of sandwiches, salad, soup, hamburger and fries. No complaints. Staff was friendly and kept checking to make sure we didn't need anything. Price was average for this kind of place. Would stop again.

The food was really good and the servicing lady was really nice and helpful. By the way, the fresh Strawberry Pie was absolute delicious.

Our experience was with a waitress named Debbie.Omg! I don’t know how many years it has been since we’ve all had such great service. Debbie went extra miles above and beyond her job duties. She was so very personable, caring and extremely attentive. This took us way back when the world was a much nicer place to live in. We left feeling as if we were cared for, full and happy. Thank you Debbie, never change!!

I hate to give this place such a great review.. I'll blame myself next time we go and the restaurant is crowded.. *it looks the same as it did 15 years ago *the servers are nice, prompt, and give refills *Shari's gives free refills of coffee! *the pies are to die for *the pie case greets you with a warm hug when you enter. *it's not so expensive you hate yourself for going out *icecream Ala mode is only $1.00 *the food is surprisingly delicious and.. consistent.
