We showed up just as they opened. We tried a variety of dishes. My favorite was the asparagus and prosciutto starter, sweet, salty, savory could all be words used on this dish. We ordered the torino pizza, yum and a dish you can get at happy hour from 3-5. Another dish that you could get at happy hour was the artichoke and cheese fonduta dip (has another name but this is how I remember it), it has great cheesiness, I would want more artichoke but that dip and the large pizza size bread to spread it was creamy yumminess with a great cheese pull. The tortellini were also worth the try. Not sure if you want red or white sauce, they have you covered with a half and half. As you can hear from all the food too much for two to each one or (or even two sittings 😃) and each it these items packed up and traveled well. I did try a bite of each cold and this has been a great meal for under $30.00 for each of us.

Still the best caprese salad I've had in years! Pesto and lightly sun-dried tomatoes. Pizza was also definitely something I'd go back for. The tortellini was average. A lovely little fountain in the sun room.

You can't go wrong eating here. If you're on a budget, the all you can eat spaghetti is only $10.99, comes with 2 huge baguettes, and tastes amazing. You can also change up which sauce you get on your additional plates. The kids pizza is HUGE and could easily feed a full grown man. I really enjoyed eating here.

No greeting. No water. Not asking if you need more time to order...only...oh...are you just going to sit there? No garlic bread with the 18 dollar lasagna...a nasty roll? Can't sit outside on a beautiful day in Olympia because it's too hot...ridiculous

Enjoyed a perfectly seasoned steak with a delicious Bellini(white sparkling white and peach puree). The bread was crusty on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside. A all around wonderful meal, served by friendly and fast-paced staff.

food was pretty good, my girlfriend and i both got fettuccine with shrimp. it needed a little salt, but overall delicious. with 2 sodas bill came out to $41 which is a little pricey for two people. we went to the front to pay and the host asked us to put a mask on to pay. it was cash so i just wanted to leave but she insisted i put a mask on to leave the building. in no way am i going to wear a mask to leave a building when i just had one off while eating and drinking food, like it would matter the 10 foot walk from my table to the door is going to stop the spread of a vîrus. probably not going to go back because of that encounter

My husband and I ate there and the service was horrid! The male server had an attitude and was extremely rude! He slammed down the plates and the spaghetti splattered on the table. He then tossed the recept into the bread basket, on top of the bread. The spaghetti was watered down and no flavor. The ravioli also had no flavor. Worse, it wasn't what we ordered and the server just shrugged. We just got up and left. I have told our friends never to eat there. I hope the server is gone and it'd be horrible if he is. Either way, we're never going back there. The worse Italian restaurant ever! Only accentuated by the worse server ever. Wish I could give zero stars.

I travel a lot and always look to try pizza in different places to compare but I can say that this is one of the best pizzas that I ever had. Extremely delicious!!!!!

I was there on a weekday for lunch with coworkers. Our waitress brought menus and drinks as expected. Nearly 15 minutes later no one had taken our order. I had to search out our waitress to remind her. Otherwise, service was great. Everything we had looked and tasted fine. My meal was good, but I wouldn't call it fabulous.

Went for lunch @ the Plum Street Casa Mia with friends. I ordered my usual soup & salad. My friend, however, ordered the "soupiest lazagna" I had ever seen. She said it was awful. I told her to send it back, she said she would take it home and add some veggies to thicken, but she was sick all night from the bad Raviolli. Next day I read the Thurston Co Inspection report and Casa Mia Plum St. got cited with 55 red demerits. WOW, I've been eating @ both Plum & Martin Way Casa Mia restaurants (20+ years) and this is the first time bad food, ever! Very disappointing!!!!!

Food: Looked/tasted like frozen/reheated premade meals. Sauce was lacking, thin and not much flavor in it. Mozzarella wasn't fresh. Technically edible. Service: Server did well, but cook staff were clearly overwhelmed. Pizza oven was broken and was not informed until after I was seated for some time. Atmosphere: It's alright. There's an outside seating area with some water trickling for ambience, nothing super fancy but it is a step up from average. Not too loud or quiet.

This place is a delight. This is a review from only one visit since we are from out of town, but here was our experience for noon on a Wednesday in June 2021: We were able to be seated in the sun room privately, and they are following appropriate Covid precautions. The server was friendly and a fast-paced worker, and the food was out very quickly as well. The pizza was great- they have an especially good crust recipe that has that slight tang of good dough that complements fresh cheese really well. The caprese salad was my favorite, it had a very sweet balsamic, especially flavorful pesto, slighy roasted tomato and hearty slices of mozzarella that worked well together on the pallet. With the plethora of lovely locally-owned restaurants around here it is difficult to choose, but I would suggest giving this one a go if you appreciate a relaxed Italian place with a very solid menu.

Casa Mia is a MUST go for me every year when I visit Washington! I always leave full and extremely satisfied! The service is always very friendly and usually pretty quick! I definitely recommend this place, for sure!

While my husband and I were on a business trip to Olympia, we stumbled upon Casa Mia during lunchtime with grumbling stomachs. Fast food wasn't on our radar, so we decided to give this charming place a shot. The waitress turned out to be an absolute delight, the ambiance was buzzing with good vibes, and the food was nothing short of fantastic. As a break from my usual pasta routine, I ventured into new territory and ordered a Caprese salad like no other. Picture this: a delightful Caprese salad perched on a warm, fresh-from-the-oven flatbread. It was a flavor explosion! My husband, on the other hand, went for the Italian meatball sandwich with a side salad. He was equally pleased with his choice. We relished our meal and the overall experience, making us wholeheartedly recommend Casa Mia. Whether you're stopping by for lunch like us or planning a delightful dinner, it's safe to say that Casa Mia won't disappoint. Buon appetito!

Pizza was great, but the sauce was a bit bland. The Butternut Squash Ravioli was great, except for being a very, very small portion, especially for the price. It was like a small salad plate with around 15 Ravioli.

Great local Italian restaurant. The lunch soup and salad special is tasty and filling. The meatball sub is also very good. Nice selection of traditional and creative pizzas.

Delicious as always! Staff are always so nice and friendly. And let's not forget about service! Promptly taking your order and clean seating! Never disappointed.

Service was fantastic. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Food was mediocre, hence the three-star rating.

Service was excellent, but the food was just mediocre. Prices were good and atmosphere was clean/pleasant. Food just lacked punches of flavor. Pizza was average. Meatball sandwich was average. Kids meals were okay, though served way too hot. Overall, I likely wouldn't return to this particular restaurant, but only because of the food.

Stopped to break up a long road trip and get a bite to eat. Glad we chose this place. The service was quick and the pizza we had was wonderful. Our 6 year old Granddaughter asked if we could come back for breakfast. 😆

Strada Susina is the best pizza ever. I live in GA and have waited four years to have this again. It did not disappoint!

Not impressed with this restaurant anymore at all.. not sure what happened as they used to be good. I got the spicy chicken salad and the minestrone soup. The chicken was not spicy and the lettuce did not taste good.. it came with literally the smallest piece of bread I’ve ever seen in my life. Not to mention my soup came with no noodles… how do you make minestrone without two different types of noodles. Honestly the flavor wasn’t great and it was basically tomato with veggies… I didn’t order vegetable soup! Don’t go here and waste your money 🙄

Stopped for dinner and as always the food was amazing. And the service was the best, we had Liz as a server she was right on top of everything making sure we were well taken care of. She is a great asset to this company. We have had her before and she always does such a great job taking care of us when we stop. Thank you Liz your amazing!!

I had the happy hour special Porter beer, Hefewizen beer, De Fero pizza and onion soup, spomouni and bellini. All the food and drinks were excellent, nice ambience and gracious wait staff.

Was pleased with our meal. Great service. Loved the appetizer of Black pepper chips.

Tasty, slightly underspiced Italian specialties: a lot more than pizza! The wait staff is willing to adjust menu items. I love meatballs in marinara, so I order the meatball sandwich without bread, which makes a nice lunch dish. Pasta is excellent, too. Maybe too much salt for some customers.

Great Italian food! Great service! A great place to stop to eat after going to the children’s museum!

Fun to watch the pizza dough being made. I love that they have half orders on the pasta and they offer it without being asked. This was a huge plus for me as I got exactly the right size serving - no waste and none to take home if I don't really want it. The bread was warm, fresh baguette, and plentiful. Almost the best part was the price. Before tip, dinner for 2 people with one salad and two iced teas came to under $35. I haven't paid less than $45 (before tip) for a comparable dinner anywhere in Olympia for years. Will go again.

Casa Mia is a staple. Consistantly good food and service. The salads are amazing. Pizza, pasta, and so many delicious selections.

Picked up pizza here a few weeks ago. I wasn't going to leave a review initially, but thinking about it tonight left almost as bad a taste in my mouth as when I initially got it. It was 50 bucks for a large pizza and prosciutto and arugula salad. The price wasn't great but I figured it would beat a generic pizza like dominos or pizza hut. The salad was great. The pizza however had almost no sauce and was very bland. It was quite literally the most bland and disappointing pizza I ever had. Based on reviews I figured it was a fluke and didn't want to leave a review but coming back to my mom's house and seeing the pizza untouched in the freezer, along with having to remember it has lead me here. Please put care into your pizzas as much as you did the delicious salad. Will not come back, but I hope they get back on track because I see the potential of this once decorated Italian restaurant.
