I was with an associate who used to frequent this place in college, so stopped in on our way to Seattle. Immediately, the smell of cigarette smoke slammed us in the face the second we walked in. I'm not sure how this happens in 2023, but here we are. Looking the menu over, they have a number of enticing items that cater to vegetarians and vegans and only 2 that have chicken. This really boggled my mind. Most burrito places I go to, you can put your choice of protein in. Not here. Oh well, I picked one of the chicken burritos. It was fairly priced.... or so I thought until I received it. The chicken was flavorful and well sauced, but there wasn't very much of it. Check out the photo - roughly 80% of the burrito was rice.... The staff was friendly and the best part of the experience. But the food.... hard pass. Clean up the smoky environment, make the proteins interchangeable in your dishes and cut the rice ratio by two thirds and you might be on to a concept here. $15 for rice in a tortilla isn't it, though.

The Burritos were actually pretty good, everything else is not. Apparently this place closed down for a while and reopened in the last year, so prices, menu options, etc are not up to date. Every burrito is $15 and up. Service was very slow and atmosphere was terrible... Inappropriate pictures on the wall, bad smell, and limited seating. They have a "men's" restroom and an "all gender" restroom, no restroom for women. Overall, was not worth the tasty burrito and I won't be going back.

You have to try a deep-fried Cadillac. Guacamole is fresh chips are house made. Good margaritas 🍹. Try a salad so delicious.

Definitely not what it used to be. Really long wait times. 30+ mins and it wasn't very busy. You have to call multiple times to get through to somebody. Sharp hard undercooked rice in a other soft burrito is not a pleasant surprise. Not satisfied after the hassle of ordering the food.

Can't rate the food except for its appearance because we didn’t end up eating there. The restaurant is trying to be 'hip', but it really just feels like an empty cold dive. It is a long, narrow restaurant with the counter to order from at the far end. So upon entering, we were not greeted or even acknowledged. We awkwardly tried to find a way to sit together but couldn't because they only had booths and bar seating, although there was room for a couple tables near the empty front of the diner. Although the booths looked nice, the seating was uncomfortable, We could feel the springs and framing, and there were dips and pokey spots. We came to celebrate my son's birthday. He just wanted a good breakfast burrito, and the name of the place implied they could provide that. Before he even sat down, he was unhappy and wanted leave. He had looked at the menu on the bar near the entrance. $15 for a breakfast burrito, and there isn't even any meat in it. So overall, our impressions of the place is that the 'quality' is superficial. It looks nice. The food looks beautiful, but be honest and acknowledge that your restaurant's quality refers to its allergen sensitive, vegetarian menu. We spent 15 minutes trying to find parking and then walk a few blocks in the rain to find out that the quality doesn't mean we will get a burrito as good or better than we've had in Mexico.

The stench of smoke should have been my first warning to turn around and leave. I ordered and sat down, immediately noticing the creepy photos on the wall, some of which were inappropriate for an eating establishment. The water tasted very off. The food was just OK. They were blasting weird offputting music that had a lot of chanting; overall the vibe is so strange at this place. The service is nice but I don't think I'll return.

One of my favorite stops downtown. For delicious tasty yet very reasonably priced food. Mexican fusion. They also have some deserts (sometimes their special carrot cake!? Check their Instagram for weekend specials). Amaaaazing vegan options.. My favorites are the broccoli tempura tacos & their special yuca fries. I tried their vegan fried chicken tacos and also the fish tacos & a fried tofu burrito - I’d have all of it again, but def go back to my broccoli tempura tacos (and I don’t really love broccoli in general that much!) friendly staff. Great photography on the walls.

Dank foods, cool atmosphere, friendly service. They have a bar area and booths. There are so many vegan options, I was blissed out. Oh! My burrito was almost bigger than me. Lasted 3 meals.. Trying the tacos next time. Thanks guys. ♡

I've always loved their fish tacos, but the shrinkflation here is very real. Neither my husband or myself got hardly any fish in our tacos or burrito. I'd rather pay a little more and get some actual protein, than the skimpy, dried out pieces that found their way into our plates.

While QB is currently closed, enjoying their food while they were open this last summer was a bright spot! I think it's a bit ridiculous that some of the recent reviews criticize the price of their food. The owners are compassionate, caring members of our community who provide ethical food, made fresh. Dining out during a pandemic requires some flexibility and compassion for their situation (with changing menu items and the like). Thanks QB for the awesome food, and I can't wait to be a customer again when you reopen!

The QB of old is gone. It used to have great burritos, great shrimp tacos, great sweet potato fries.. no more. The sauce is still amazing but the food is only so-so since re-opening after pandemic.

I was disappointed upon returning to QB for the first time since late 2019 that the food just isn't living up to the "Q". I guess we should have been clued in by the lack of anyone in the place on a Saturday evening. It was also disappointing that the lounge isn't open yet. My favorites on the pre-closure menu had been the shrimp and the pork tacos, neither of which remain on the menu, so we went with the fish tacos. The fish was very strong tasting and none of the pre-Covid QB yumminess was there. My girlfriend and I were then both complaining of stomach aches within 15 minutes of leaving, with her saying that if I wanted to make her feel ill I could have saved some time and money and just taken her to some Mexican fast food chain. I don't know why it took QB so long to re-open, and without the lounge it's really only partially open in my mind, but the food isn't what it used to be. It'll be quite sometime before I might try it again, and I would no longer recommend it to anyone.

Finally stopped by this fine establishment for Joe's Ranchero chicken burrito. Loved the atmosphere and the burrito even more. It was so very tasty and such a deal. They told me they stopped serving beef or pork a while ago, but don't let that stop you. The staff were wonderful. 5 stars!

The first bite of Chimichurri tacos made me cry, it was that good. That has never happened to me before. My son loved his Breakfast Burrito. The person at the counter was very sweet and helpful. I also absolutely loved the art installation on the walls. Impressive. What a gem! I will be back to try everything else!

Local small business with a decent variety, lots of vegetarian/vegan options and gluten-free options are noted on the menu. I prefer my sweet potato fries a bit more crispy, and it was a little pricey, but the chimchurri chicken tacos were amazing.

Stopped in on our way up to Olympic National Park. Had the Vegan Sara Jane burrito (which was the size of my head), the vegetarian fried chicken tacos, vegetarian chicken strips, and the broccoli tempura tacos. The red chili sauce on the fried chicken tacos was a little spicier than my tolerance, which I should have figured given the name, but was delicious! The vegetarian fried chicken was an awesome imitation, delicious and great texture. The burrito sauce was to die for. The broccoli tempura tacos are so creative, the hoison is awesome and the fry on the broccoli was perfect, it made the broccoli soft and steamed with a touch of crunch from the batter. The service was excellent and we even got to chat with the owner(s). The atmosphere was no frills, solid music, really interesting portrait series on the walls which we thoroughly enjoyed. If we are ever back in Olympia, we will absolutely be coming here for lunch.

Honestly, the place i miss the most average our move to Portland. I will continuely go out of my way to get an Emma's cod peice. I do kiss the russett fries they used to have on their old menu but hopefully they will bring them back. A must try in Oly. You won't regret it.

This place is phenomenal. We've been trying to go to different places in the area lately since we've lived here 3 years and haven't tried too many non-chain places. The food is excellent, the choices are excellent, great quality, friendly staff...SOOO good. We will definitely be back. The kids burrito has to weigh like a pound. FANTABULOUS!!! Ate the "Kermit's Finger" and it definitely doesn't disappoint.

I always have a drink in the lounge while I wait for my takeout...amazing Kombucha cocktails! I drank the cocktail too quickly to get a picture...but here is my Cadillac burrito

The burritos were fat and delicious. The nachos and guacamole were fantastic. The beer was cold and the service was great. They have a variety of burritos with different ingredients including vegan options. Most seating is in 4 person booths but there is a larger table near the door. Bar is available for the over 21 crowd. Kids plate was a lot of food and delicious.

Quality Burrito was fast service and had a lot of vegan options I would definitely recommend this place if you're trying to get a breakfast burrito because it is humongous and it's a challenge to finish however the options 4 vegan meals are exceptional

The cod burrito was absolutely fantastic! Really filled me up and delicious the whole way through. I like the decor in here too with all the photos of different people.

QB, you could have been a contender. Instead you've chosen to just be another restaurant in which maybe half your customers will regret spending their hard-earned money. I'm here to say, "Do not get a fish taco at QB." Or, if you do, remove the fish, first, and give it to a neighbor's pet who you don't like. That animal won't mind poorly seasoned, chewy, cooked-without-being-thawed fish. Get yourself a burrito, instead. Although the same folks who can't prepare fish will probably use chili powder instead of more creative ingredients. Portion sizes are very good and the menu provides some promising choices. But with consistency being something that eludes Quality Burrito (not an uncommon complaint, in Olympia), I advise caution for first time visitors to QB.

Some of the best burritos I have ever had. My favorite is Romona's Steak, Potato and Bacon, it was the best steak that I've ever eaten in a burrito. 10/10 recommend. There is a burrito for everyone.

This place used to be my favorite in Olympia, even if the service was occasionally spotty. After moving to Tacoma, I'd try to stop by whenever I passed through on my way to Packwood, Portland, or Copalis. The firebird was my go-to. And I sold a number of friends on its virtue, but after an extended pandemic closure, the place isn't the same.

"The Cadillac" fried burrito with chicken was amazing. Half was a full lunch and the other half will probably be dinner tonight. Service at noon on a weekday was also really fast. Highly recommended, I will be going back.

Wet, salty disappointment. That's what my food was. Pre pandemic I loved QB's Kermit's Finger, with pork. I was disappointed to find they no longer serve pork, but was willing to give it a go with chicken. The chicken is overcooked and rubbery. The seasonings don't taste quite right together. There is so much salt, it physically hurts my mouth. The tortilla is soggy and wrapped in a way that made it impossible to pick it up without making a huge mess. The tacos, according to my spouse, were disappointing and fell apart on first bite. The pickles onions, while a bold choice, did not work with the flavor profile at all. We will not be repeat customers of the new Quality Burrito.

Like you, I've had a bajillion burritos in my lifetime, but this place truly has THE MOST QUALITY burrito around. You should absolutely stop here while in Olympia.

I’m not vegan but decided to try the vegan tacos because a friend recommended them and they were full of flavor and surprisingly delicious. Definitely going to get them again when I go back.

QB is an Olympian classic that goes beyond comfort food with innovative flavor pairings within the Tex-Mex niche. Their clean kitchen is very observant of the dietary needs of the masses providing classic delights as well as gluten free and vegan options that aren't just substitutions: they're their very own delicious dish! Try the broccoli tacos, I'm neither vegan nor gluten free but they are AMAZINGLY SCRUMPTIOUS, filling, and beautiful in their presentation. On the other side of the block from Capitol Theater as and a stones-throw away from Harlequin, it's an awesome spot to stop by after a show downtown. When you walk into the doors you are greeted with art adorning the walls that is a mix of wholesome and hilarious. After COVID, they have switched to counter service to ensure minimal contact which is not only sweet of em, but a preferable transition simply for getting your salivary glands a-buzzing from the delightful smells wafting from the kitchen and checking out orders of others that might inspire a switch-up in your consumption routine. All of the staff is a lovely mix of sweet and sassy that culminates in a crew of people who work hard to ensure both the happiness of their customers and the quality of the products served. You really can't pick a better landing point for a warm delightful dinner anywhere like this in Olympia. It's cold as heck outside, go fill your tummy with something that checks all the boxes 💜💜💜
