Made
reservations
but
still
waited
to
be
seated
(New
years
Eve
dinner,
but
what's
the
point
of
making
reservations?)
We
ordered
our
drinks
shortly
after
being
seated
but
didn't
even
get
our
water
until
after
the
bread
and
calamari
were
served.
The
calamari
were
cooked
well
&
not
over
breaded.
The
oysters
(forgot
picture)
were
not
cleaned
well
(there
was
a
lot
of
grit),
and
at
least
one
wasn't
cut
loose
from
the
shell.
They
forgot
to
give
us
a
spoon
or
small
fork
for
the
oysters
or
mignonette
(which
tasted
good).
The
bread
was
a
fresh,
warm
loaf
of
sourdough.
For
my
entree,
I
had
the
northwest
duet
of
salmon
&
a
crab
cake.
The
salmon
was
perfectly
cooked
&
i
liked
the
sauce.
The
crab
cake
tasted
ok.
The
sauce
was
really
good,
but
the
crab
was
lost
(there
was
plenty
of
it,
but
I
couldn't
really
taste
it...
I'm
spoiled
with
Dungeness,
lol.)
Honey
had
the
patagonian
shrimp
marinara
with
angel
hair
pasta,
which
tasted
nice,
but
I
think
the
pasta
might
have
been
just
a
minute
over.
Desserts,
we
had
a
huckleberry
buckle
and
dark
chocolate
hazelnut
truffles
&
a
peppermintini.
The
buckle
was
tasty.
The
truffles
were
ok
but
had
a
bitter
note,
i
think
the
hazelnuts
were
a
bit
over
toasted.
The
peppermintini
was
strong.
😊
Got
really
cold
in
there
waiting
between
courses.
This
used
to
be
one
of
my
favorite
places
to
celebrate,
but
I
was
sadly
disappointed
tonight.
I
suppose
it
could
be
because
of
how
busy
they
were,
but
now
that
my
favorite
server
no
longer
works
there,
I
doubt
I
will
return.
No
one
could
replace
Olivia,
of
that
I
am
sure.
Update:
After
my
disappointment
on
New
years
Eve,
management
sent
me
a
voucher
for
dinner
for
2
so
that
I
might
give
them
another
chance.
I
must
say,
it
was
definitely
worth
it.
The
Valentine's
dinner,
my
love
&
I
shared,
will
be
remembered
a
long
while.
We
had
the
oyster
toast
with
champagne.
The
oysters
were
beautifully
served
&
tasty.
Then
we
got
the
Dungeness
crab
and
shrimp
artichoke
dip
for
an
appetizer
&
it
was
devine.
For
my
entree,
I
enjoyed
the
wild
Alaska
king
salmon
&
my
love
had
the
filet
Oscar.
The
steak
was
so
perfectly
done
that
it
ACTUALLY
brought
tears
to
his
eyes.
After,
for
dessert,
we
shared
the
burnt
cream,
and
I
must
say
it
was
one
of
the
best
creme
Brule
I
have
ever
had
(and
I've
had
a
lot).
Honey
enjoyed
a
hot
buttered
rum,
and
I
tried
what
they
called
"beautiful,"
which
was
a
cognac
&
Grand
Marnier
that
I
found
delightful.
I
am
very
happy
to
say
that
our
Valentine's
Day
(10th
anniversary)
dinner
was
a
complete
and
thorough
success.
Our
server
James
did
a
wonderful
job
&
we
will
definitely
be
returning.
