Unfortunately it’s not the same. Super bummed. Not sure if it’s a new owner or not but the woman who seemed to be was awful. we will not be returning :( we could definitely make this food at home. Quality went from 10 to zero. There definitely something missing from the original recipes. Such a let down. Plus the service was terrible. A little kindness and better attention to customers would probably make the food taste better. Oh and fyi you they make it seem like they will bring a check and they don’t do you wait even longer 🤷🏻‍♀️

Decent BBQ, but not good enough to make me a returning customer based on my poor customer service experience. I had heard good things, so I went into the restaurant to place an order. After about 20 minutes of waiting, a person that I'm sure is either the owner or the manager approached me to say that they couldn't give me my food. Why? Because of a mistake they made. Being told I couldn't get my order because of their inability to figure out how to charge an order placed over the phone is their problem, not mine. The card was more than valid, and the transaction finally went through after going back and forth with the employees and the manager/owner. In her own words, she said "sorry, but I can't just let $60 go out the front door." The right thing to do for a first time customer when you've made the mistake is to offer them food or work with them to make sure their experience was a good one. But nope, she didn't care, and I won't be returning as a result. Valuable lesson to business owners; when engaging with a first time customer, be good to them. I would have become a regular customer, spent money, and brought in new business. But now that won't happen.

I cannot say enough good about this place. The food was amazing. We had the street tacos, chopped brisket and pulled pork. I couldn't pick a favorite. This was followed by the soft pretzels, the cheese was fantastic and plenty to cover the pretzels. The bartender, Anna, pronounced Anya, takes great pride in every drink she makes. This place will make you feel better after a long day for sure.

I don't like to leave bad reviews and I really wanted the like this place but... The "smoked ribs" were not smoked. Just pale, yes tender, yes fall apart-y but no flavor AT ALL ribs. If you're looking for a smoke ring in your meat you will not find it here. We ordered a bowl of brisket chili and it was maybe a cup, by volume, of chili with a bunch of melted cheese and broken tortilla chips on it. While the flavor was good, there was no decernible brisket and not worth $7. Also, the chili is the same price on the happy hour menu as the regular menu?! The brisket slider was about a tablespoon or two of brisket bits and sauce on a store bought, mass produced, fresh from the bag bun (pretty sure the menu said brioche) with a hamburger dill...that's it for $3. The cornbread muffin was dry, sweet and not worth finishing. Beer and ambience were good!

I would call this establishment a nice, cozy, neighborhood bar. It is easy to find, access, and exit. The menu is small enough to manage and easy enough for variety. Pricing is moderate. Service is very good. We stopped by for lunch of a brisket sandwich and bowl of brisket chili; both visually appealing and very satisfying. They have a good selection of regional craft beers, available in four sizes, with a rotating selection. It is fully handicapped accessable. They follow on Google maps and are usually prompt with responses. If you found this review to be helpful please consider adding a thumbs-up.

BBQ and beer, match made in heaven. Brisket, ribs, mac, and cucumber salad were all delicious. Solid beer selection too. Also kid friendly. Will be back!

Great small neighborhood place to grab a beer and food! Meatballs were a bit bland. Nachos with pork are amazing! Brisket street tacos were the best! Great beer choices on tap. BBQ sauces were great! Service was very friendly! Reasonably priced! Best Mac n’ cheese ever!!

First time visiting and it was awesome. Lots of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. I can’t eat gluten or dairy and still had plenty of delicious options. Got a San Juan Seltzer with brisket full Tex Mex salad and was FULL. The brisket was amazing. Will definitely be back for the ribs. What makes this place special is I thought I lost my work badge here - and this sweet woman answered when I called seeing if it was returned here; and she went out of her way to look for it EVERYWHERE including the parking lot. How freaking sweet is that! Great customer service, good quality food, fast service and reasonable price.

Great food and service. I had the pound of dry rub wings, wife had the Cobb salad, both very good. Add a couple beers and a cider topped off the lunch

Great authentic BBQ and fast service Love that this spot is on the way to/from Ocean Shores, it's definitely going to become a guilty pleasure going to the beach and then getting some brisket on the way back LOVED the brisket and pulled pork (both were soft and juicy); my boyfriend and I shared a 2 meat plate and it was more than enough food. The soft pretzels are also a great bite, super soft and fluffy! The decor and music set a very fun yeehaw ambiance which was a unique experience for me🤠 Pros: * fast service and food! * authentic delicious BBQ * decent price; a 2 meet plate was $33 which my partner and I shared amongst ourselves and it was more than enough food for us both * for my drink girlies and guyos, they have all day happy hours on Saturday Cons: * the location can be out of the way depending on where you're located

Cute little rustic vibe here .. Love the wood walls and bar set up. The place smelled good as soon as we got inside. The Happy hour had some delicious choices. Sara was friendly and had some good suggestions 😊

Good food and sports-bar atmosphere. We enjoyed our visit. Food: Good American food, properly smoked in the restaurant. Makes the meat taste great and gives it the proper smoked texture. We love that. Service: Super friendly service 10/10 Ambiance: Ruhhed sports-bar vibes, no fuzz and very homely. Favorite dishes: Pulled Pork and BBQ Ribs

This is what paid $19? for plus fees and tips? This is sad. Was supposed to be chopped brisket Mac n cheese bowl. This is virtually empty. Edit: I decided to give HOTH one more try, ordered nachos. $20 for the base. Which is just chips, beans, and cheese, then they want you to add meat, it’s required, add $17 for meat, dude, talk about the worst $40 nachos ever!!! No guac, no sour cream, no nothing, chips, cheese, beans, and brisket, $42!!! Which does not include all the Uber fees etc! Never again HOTH, I’m totally done with you. You’re robbing people with below average products.

A new favorite for sure - Great food, drinks, and atmosphere! A great happy hour menu all day on Sundays, we had the chili, pulled pork sliders, and mac and it was all delicious. I was happy to see vegan and vegetarian options as well. The service was equally great. We will definitely be back and are excited to know about this gem close to home.

We went last night with friends and ordered the burnt ends. We were very disappointed in our food. We only received 4 small cubes each that were very fatty with not much meat at all; not what I was expecting after seeing the picture on the website. I ordered coleslaw for a side and it was very dry; not sure if there was any sauce on it all at. The cornbread muffin was really good as well as the white bbq sauce. Not worth the $45 dollar bill in my opinion. We went home and ate afterwards.

As a food enthusiast who appreciates a good BBQ and cold beer, I recently decided to visit Hops on the Hill, and I wasn't disappointed. Third time here, and I need to remember it more. This restaurant offers a combination of mouthwatering BBQ dishes and an extensive selection of beers that make it an ideal destination for a casual get-together.

I am giving it 3 stars because lunch and dinner are amazing. Also the breakfast taco is so good. Sadly went to brunch today and the biscuits were like rocks and the rest of the food was not very good. I will still go for other things but never again for brunch.

Best nachos! Great pulled pork,, Mac and cheese and the cucumber salad is great too.. Their hours are unpredictable but when they're open it's a great time! Their kitchen shuts down a bit early too, so definitely plan.

The food and drinks were AMAZING. We will def be coming back. The ONLY issues I had was that the music was loud, and that the hostess/bartender tried to seat us by the door on a cold night bc I have a medical alert/guide dog, despite ADMITTING that she knew that it was illegal for her to require us to sit there. It was quite frustrating. In the end we did end up sitting at lower tables ((we needed the lower seats so that my dog could do his job)) but the fact that she wanted us by the door to keep us away from the other patrons for the soul reason of my medical devise was humiliating to say the least. The food was amazing though and the drinks were great and she didn't cause us any more issues after that. Hopefully this was a one off thing as I'd like to go here more often since it's close to where I live and not too expensive if you go at the right hours.

I've eaten here a couple times now, and I have to leave a five star review. The food is just so very good. I have not been disappointed at all. Yesterday was my first time dining in, and the service and ambience were just as on point as the food. If you're looking for great food, great atmosphere, and great service, this is the place to go.

Absolutely delicious food. We had the Loaded Queso, and Brisket tacos. The food came out hot and delicious. Our waitress Tatum was kind, knowledgeable and made an awesome old fashioned.

Great little place to get better-than-normal pub grub and a brew. People there are really nice. Atmosphere is pretty good. I recommend the Hill Pan nachos with pulled pork!

I love the BBQ here - both the sauce and the meat. The smoked carrots are great too! My only complaint is that the cinnamon sticks are just the pretzel sticks with cinnamon on them and a sweet dipping sauce.

Snapped a photo after we ate. More than expected came when we ordered the queso nachos. Nice thick chips. Good brisket tacos, too.

Best service I've had all year. Preston was simply spectacular. With a good wine and beer selection, and soft pretzels this place was right up my alley.

The food was pretty good and the portions were enough to fill you up, but not make you hate yourself for eating it all. Lol. There were 3 of us, we each had a big meal and beers, and only paid about $100. The waitress was super nice and very attentive. We will absolutely be going back the next time we're out that way.
