This place is super neat! I love how they decorated it. It is super unique looking and just interesting to look at. It reminded me of a museum a little. Not to mention that the food was good. I had shrimp and chips and it tasted pretty tasty. Happy to say that my whole family was satisfied with their meals! I am pleased to say that if I am ever in the area again (I'm from out of state) that I would happily come back here for another meal!

Fun bar with decent bar food. I love the variety and can't wait to try the prime rib. The oysters and mussels were fantastically fresh! Try the turkey pot pie - delicious. Staff were friendly, fast and super nice when I spilled my wine on the clean dishes at the bar.

Nice bar just off IT where you can get some really good burgers and appetizers. Very good selection of beers. Service is outstanding with friendly staff. The decor is great with lots of memorobilia all over the ceiling. Thumbs up👍

Went here for my first time on Sunday. It was 10:30 in the morning. They were busy. Took an hour and 10 minutes to get our breakfast. There was two of us. I had the basic breakfast. Unfortunately they were out of hashbrowns. So I hadn't have their flavorless country potatoes. They give you about 1/4 a cup. I had the sausage patties. They had a good flavor and were not spicy like a lot of places. So I was happy about that. I had the white toast. Just plain toast nothing special about the bread. My friend ordered the biscuits and gravy. It was just awful. Tasted and looked like flour paste. The place was loud. Very loud. Like eating in a high school cafeteria where the kids were about to get out for summer vacation. Very disappointed but my friend seen they had smoked prime rib so we decided to go back for dinner. Sat down. Our server was sweet. Had a hard time carrying her tray with drinks on it or food. So she asked us to take our items off the tray ourselves. Ordered our food. Came pretty quick. I had the rib eye and she had the prime rib. Her prime rib was served completely cold. So they said let us stick it back in the juice to heat it up. We'll it did some but her prime rib now tasted just like the juice and not like it was smoked. It turned out to be so tough no matter how she tried to slice it that she sent it back. My steak had no flavor. I had ordered mushrooms with it. It was like they opened a can and dumped them on my steak. The meat was tough. Was the worst steak I have ever been served!! I had just had a steak at Buzz's Tavern a couple days before and it was so good. Anyway. When she asked me if I wanted a box. I said no thank you that is the worst steak I have ever had. She immediately got mad. Took off with my plate. Came back and slammed our ticket down and said I took the food off. Well. I had planned on paying for my food. I just would never go back here. The baked potato was good and the dinner salad was ok. So I called another waitress over and explained the situation and how we were just treated. She said she was sorry how the other person reacted. I have never sent food back in my life. I will never go back here. So sad.

We ended up here because the restaurant next door we had originally intended on eating at had too long of a wait. So, over here we came. We were pleasantly surprised how clean and cozy it was. The outside is so-so but inside is interesting with all sorts of stuff hanging on walls and their big slopes ceiling. Staff were nice and we shared a veggie omelet. They split our shared meal into 2 plates for us and we didn't ask which was nice. Food was good not great. If you are hungry and nearby this will do. Good experience.

Heavy traffic. Opted for a lunch break and breather from the days travels. Been here before solid and predictable. Great decor, good tap selection, friendly staff. Food is above par for taverns/grills. Burgers are flavorful, the tots crunchy, plenty of hot sauce to spice it up as needed. Not too loud, and made for a nice break. Will be stopping in again

I've got a good vibe when I walk to the door. Everyone seems to be having a good time,) I like all the antiques in the building. The mushroom burger was delicious, with lots of cheese and mushrooms.. Great little sports bar 😊

Buyer beware. Treat this place like a 3rd world country and use cash. They will over charge your credit card. Ordered two beers ($6.50ea on happy hour but what ever), they added a fee to use credit card (fine as well). I left a 2 buck tip and figured I was good. They added a 1 in front of that tip and stole 10 bucks from me. That's not good business and is theft.

I got a crispy chicken salad and it was delicious! I have never felt obligated to eat all of a salad before now! 🤣 The ladies working there are wicked sweet and attentive. It's definitely going to be our new date spot!

Stopped in the other night for some dinner. I really liked the decor and had a nice feel to the place. Food was ok, gonna go back to try some other stuff. Even have a pool table.

I brought a group of 13 people. I called ahead a time the tables we're reserved and ready. The food was delicious. The waitress was wonderful. I've been there a couple of times and I really enjoy the food and the service.

Awesome dive restaurant perfect for family. Good food and lots of interesting things to see. Awesome waiter and waitress today. Always stop here for good after visiting nisqually nature preserve. It’s a great day to visit any day.

Nice local restaurant nestled in Nisqually. Friendly service, delicious breakfast. Daily weekday dinner specials. I recommend bringing cash to avoid debit card charge.

Food was real good. But, when you order an appetizer you expect to get it before your food. Would you get the desert before your?

Just happened to visit the nearby chevron and saw Nisqually Bar & Grill but it turned out to be an absolute treat in an extremely convenient location. All of our goodies were made quickly and very well done; the crab cake burger was full of flavor with fresh buns and veggies (think lush, luxurious fishwich), our appetizer order of shrimp was great quality with a bright, perfectly zingy cocktail sauce, the side salad was huge and very fresh, and finally the waffle fries were crisp and warm. They even had a few things my very wheat sensitive celiac mom could snack on for lunch. Both waitresses (Athena and Lizzie?) were so fun, friendly, helpful folks and the atmosphere was very relaxing for a mellow travel day lunch. Thank you all, keep doing you!

A true gem. Great stopping point between Kent and the coast. Highly recommended meatloaf Sandwich. Environment Something to take a look all around owner put a lot of effort into creating an atmosphere. Quick service great food!

Edit: I came back as I was picking up my new passport and the way home I made it a point to stop here just after two days. I was too busy to order a new item and I sooooo regret it as I looked at what people were ordering and just looked amazing. My BLT tasted great like earlier in the week just sad didn’t try new item ☹️ but for sure next time. Next time with the fam!!!!🥳🥳🥳

Went here about a month ago, lots of good reviews. So I thought it’s gotta be good. Right? Wrong. If zero stars was an option I’d do it. Service was slow and place was only half full with plenty of staff. I know COVID changed things and a lot of places are running understaffed. 2 bartenders 2 waitresses and a 20 minute wait just to get menus and order water. 15 more minutes just to place a drink order. Food came out. We ate. We left. And later that evening food poisoning from the food hits. I guess the kitchen staff didn’t want to be left out of a horrid night out.

Quick in and out for a drink and a bite. Sat outside since it was nice. Friendly staff and quick to bring a menu along with our drinks. Food was perfect. Will go back.... I'm back!! This time I had a bloody mary and 1/2 order nachos. Played pull tabs. Happy hour 3-6. Was very good and price was excellent. The server was very nice, she kept coming back to check if we needed anything else.

Got stuck in traffic coming back from Ocean Shores, we've seen this place many times right off I-5 (hard to miss the big "12" painted on the roof) it was a beautiful day and they have a big outdoor patio and cold beer👍 place was roomy, clean and the staff was friendly and fun!! There was 5 of us, we all ordered different things and all was delivered promptly and was delicious the bikers next to us were just a bonus 😁 I would highly recommend but I'd like to be able to get a seat at the table😜 we will be back!!

They were super busy and under staffed. But even with a little extra wait at the table, our waitress was still smiling and friendly. And our food was quicker than we expected. Everything was great. For being under pressure and short handed. What a refreshing change from most places. We enjoyed the people and the food so much we had a late lunch here on the way back. Still had great food. But less wait, still had friendly staff people. Thanks for doing a great job. We will be back again soon.

Amazing find right off Hwy 5. The soft tacos were only so-so, but my daughter said her grilled cheese was amazing and I gotta say my bacon cheeseburger was very tasty. I think this place will be my go-to whenever I’m in the area. The walls and ceiling are covered in a collection of eclectic antiques and beer taps galore! There is plenty to see and talk about while you’re waiting for your food. The staff there was quite amazing as well! Very friendly and informative.
