First time I have been in since living here, atmosphere is relaxing. Had the all you can eat Fish n Chips and it was delicious. I ended up taking the breading off because some pieces of the fish just didn’t stay with the batter. The fish was cooked perfectly! Coleslaw was good and I really enjoyed their Guinness mix with other beers. I first tried the Black Death because it has my two favorite dark beers in it and it wasn’t too bad The Holy Trinity is really good, in the end I really enjoy my Guinness by itself. Lindsay was our waitress and she was great. My dad gave her a hard time when we haven’t seen her for a minute so after she gave us our second round, she came back and said ‘It’s been two minutes, did you miss me and need anything?’ Loved her personality and overall amazing customer service and very friendly. The other guy there, eh not so much. Very dry humor.

We walked in and were immediately seated. Our drink orders were put in and brought out promptly. The ordering process was easy and we thought it went smoothly. We had the pretzels with the cheese sauce and mustard for an appetizer. We caught one of the other waiters and asked him for some plates. The plates he brought looked like they had been used. They had crumbs and stains. He walked away and we had to ask another waitress to bring us more plates. I had the chicken bacon sandwich with some tots. You can't go wrong with tots. They were regular tots. They did come out hot. The chicken sandwich was ok. It had pretty good flavor but it's not too hard to mess that up. Overall, it was ok.

We had two kinds of macaroni and cheese, and both of them were delicious. I've certainly had more exciting and better tasting Mac n cheese, but this was a good one. The bread was poorly presented and ended up being a little soggy from the steam coming out of the food it was placed on top of. The size of the bread was also pretty underwhelming. The service wasn't good... even though they were slow that day, it was difficult to get helped. It took 30 minutes to get a check! That's unacceptable. I wouldn't want to come here during a rush...

First Restaurant I tried in DuPont and it was ammmmmmazzzing! The Steak & Cheese omelette was very flavorful and beyond fulfilling. Our waitress Carla was polite, attentive, and gave great customer service all the way around. This is a must try spot!

I came here for dinner the other night with my two little girls. Both the hostess and waitress were very nice! They were completely out of crayons for the kids menus so I just gave them my own pens. My kids ordered the chicken strips and the pasta, while I ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich. We also ordered the soft pretzel for our appetizer. The kids menu clearly says that their meals come with a roll and carrot sticks, but these never came out and were never offered. I asked about them and she acted surprised that we wanted them. So I guess if you want something that says is included, be sure to speak up about it! My sandwich was a little dry, but other then that the food was good!

Went on a Sunday around 5pm, party of 2. No wait. Sat in dinning area although bar was an option. Food was delicious and service was great. We were checked on often. They have a military discount which is not found often in restaurants and very appreciated! Loved all the decor! The Tachos app is sooo yummy! Prices were reasonable. Will be back.

This is a really good find in a small town! Smushed between Tacoma and Olympia, DuPont is often overlooked and this joint is reason enough to stop in. We came up the highways a bit just for dinner on a Monday night. Sat at the bar and enjoyed some drinks. Let me start off by highly recommending the “adult” cherry limeade… that was a dangerous drink it was so good. My partner appreciated the option for a large “mug” of Irish beer too. Both were even better with the very reasonable price tags! Food was also good. On Mondays, they run a series of Mac n cheese specials. We ended up with some cheeseburger Mac and some “shark bites,” which are just fish n chips in a nugget form. Both were really good and the “chips” (fries) were made even better with a side of the beer cheese dipping sauce. Staff were super friendly and talkative at the bar, but also on top of their tables and made sure everyone could see a tv with the game on. Made for a good experience all the way around. So we’d recommend this pub! I know we’ll be back soon, hopefully for some more traditional fare.

I understand we were there on St Patrick's day. But, the service was extremely slow. Maybe they were understaffed. Our server was nice. I actually felt bad for her. She had our table plus many others. My french dip was alright. Disappointed it wasn't on a hoagie roll. But the sandwich itself was really lacking of flavor. I liked my tots. They do make a great Mule. Also, it was so noisy, Our ended up leaving sooner because we couldn't hear each other. I was very disappointed that they didn't have Gluten free options other than salad.

I went to this pub hoping for good hot food after a long day and I was thrilled by this restaurant. We arrived before the evening rush so we were seated quickly and served quickly as well. I ordered the Ruben rolls which was amazing and the flank steak dish was delicious. Our server was Annika and she was great. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

We had a gathering there as part of our Lakes High School 50th Class Reunion to watch the Seattle Seahawks after all it is a sports bar. Decent beer selection I had the Windmer Brothers Hefeweisen on tap. The food menu was well thought out with sumptuous dishes

This place has gone from one of my favorite places, to an absolute scam. LOOK AT MY "Side of house-made tomato soup". What an aaaaabsolute joke. I'm actually quite pretty sad to post this. It's a shell of its former self. Used to be one of our favorite places and we won't be back. Menu has been reduced to mostly low quality pub food. Obviously understaffed. Our food came out cold... Not room temp. Cold!

I had the Shepard's Pie tonight and it was more than amazing, it was probably the best Shepard's Pie I have had in a many of years. Great service from the staff plus it was trivia night, Wednesday Night at 7pm. If you are reading this still go eat here and don't think about any other decisions. Also toss me a like on this post for taking the time to tell you how great it is.

This place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is good. Irish pubs are where I feel at home and, generally, my favorite spots to enjoy libations and good food. This place did it right. It didn't necessarily scream "Irish pub" to me, but I still had a great experience. I normally order shepherds pie as a litmus test, however, not many pubs sell lamb, so I decided to go with the lamb stew. It's in a thick brown gravy, which I'd never tried before, but it was really good. Paired it with some Guinness and an Irish whiskey and had a fine meal. Their whisk(e)y selection is okay. Not too many selections, but what they do have is good. I recommend this place!

I have eaten here before and once again it was delicious. The Waitress was friendly, cheerful and polite.I had the Corned Beef Hash Skillet, it was fantastic! The Pub has a designated dining area, outdoor seating is available and there is a designated Kids area as well. The Pub area itself is well appointed and excellently appointed. The layout is great and does not appear cluttered.

The mint Old Fashioned is quite refreshing. The pretzel and beer cheese are a must have. Service was polite and quick. The Mac n cheese combined with any dessert option will satisfy any customer! Great environment.

This place is warm and welcoming with a wonderful friendly staff. They made sure we were taken care of. The food was amazing but the French Onion soup was Out Of This World!!! Loved it. We will definitely be going back for more. The peach martini was off the hook as well.

Great food was good and nice to have a nonalcoholic beer choice. Service was good. I really dislike having my bill come out with 18%, 20%, and 25% tip amounts preloaded as options. It feels like pressure for convenience to tip high. Leave it blank and I'll tip the amount I want to tip. Thanks

This place is amazing! The beer, the food, and the service oh man its great. Sometimes there are people who get unlucky with service but you got to remember it depends who is working ok. The burger black and blue is really good. Their beer is really good, i suggest trying samples of there beer to see what suits your taste if your new. So far the best one i tried was one called snake bite. Its a great place for someone who wants to sit at the bar have some delicious food and a great beer. If you have a group plan ahead so you dont complain about the long wait hours on busy days.

Average food. Overall unremarkable. The place was deserted, and the server who covered the bar area, a scrawny guy, was clearly annoyed with my question about the types of salads they had. Despite my ignoring that (and unbeknownst that I'd still tip him 25%), he then ensured that I waited for it to arrive just by the time my friend already finished their meal. God bless capitalism and the plethora of competition (whom I intend on patronizing instead of this place).

We go to Mac’s once a week for trivia and our server, Gabby, is always on top of her stuff, despite how busy trivia night is, always smiling and has a great attitude. The food is also great! We’ve tried almost everything on the menu and you can’t go wrong with anything you choose! We’ve had a few hiccups with special requests but the staff is great about fixing it!

Excellent Irish Pub dining experience. The appetizers are all delicious, and the onion soup is the best I have ever had. I had the Reuben today, which was perfection. This was my first time at McNamara's, but I will be returning frequently to explore the menu.

We arrived around 7:40 pm. Took a couple minutes for host to get back up front to seat as we were the only ones to seat. Took 15 minutes for the waitress to get to our table and take our order. Not sure if the hist relayed to her we were there. She took our order and it took close to 45 minutes for our food to come out. Never mentioned that the kitchen was running behind or anything. We just felt really ignored. Food on the other was great.

Came to charge our Chevy Bolt EV and stopped for dinner. Thurs 5:30 and place is packed. Lordy is it loud. The waitress was quick to arrive and took our orders. I got the Lamb stew and my wife the fish n'chips. Food took about 15 mins to arrive. Lamb stew was served in a black skillet with a scoop of mash potatoes in the center and was quite tasty. I couldn't finish it. My wife enjoyed her food as well. Good all the way around. Price a wee on the high side. Update: since we enjoyed dinner so much, we decided to come back for breakfast. What a difference. There was hardly anybody in the restaurant, but still the service was super slow. We got the Irish, which is basically eggs Benedict but on corn beef. The eggs were like golf balls. We would've returned them, but the waitress never came back. So I took pictures before eating them because I was hungry and didn't feel like waiting. When the waitress did show up, I showed her the pics. She apologized but made no offer to compensate us for our less than satisfactory meal. Never eating breakfast there again.

Lovely environment, but it was a bit drafty. The staff were the best; friendly, attentive, and professional. I absolutely adore the food and would visit again. I highly recommend anyone to visit if they love great food, good music, and great vibes! Just fix that draft please. I should rate a 4 star due to the draft, but because I was on my first date with a wonderful man, it was a little romantic in our eyes lol. Thanks, we had a blast!

What a nice surprise. Found ourselves driving around after the movies and the menu looked good. So glad we ate here. The guys both ordered the fish and chips and agreed they were the best they had had in a while. We also had the shepherd's pie and a build your own burger. Yummy. The must have though we all agreed was the Guinness Brownie Skillet. Delicious! Thank you to Gabby our waitress who was super attentive and friendly. Making this one of our "favorite" places to stop in when we are back this way.

Anything there with their corned beef is wonderful! I don't give many 5 stars. Service and atmosphere were fine in this family friendly, military friendly Irish themed restaurant and bar. Corned beef eggs benedict plate and a traditional Irish coffee were a satisfying late breakfast for me on this visit. Park in back.

Food and drinks were amazing two days in a row. The first day, we enjoyed their happy hour BBQ pulled pork nachos, Long Island ice tea, and a black & tan beer. The next night, there were 5 of us that all ordered different entrees, and we all enjoyed our meals. We had the Cowboy burger, pulled pork sandwich, Shepard's pie, spicy chicken mac'n cheese, and flank steak. All entrees had a lot of flavor and were excellent choices!

The food just isn't great. It could be, but its usually not hot. It's often less than fresh. I've sent back a corned beef dish that had turned. Too many items on the menu to maintain freshness and quality across the board. Kitchen need to ensure proper temps and wait staff needs to pick up food promptly.

Sunday morning, 930 am, stopped for breakfast, first visit. Lovely young waitress, very attentive, friendly. Good coffee, nice atmosphere, wanted to order the meat breakfast, noticed the 1/2 order. Husband ordered the breakfast burrito, it was huge. My breakfast, hashbrowns, fluffy eggs, crisp bacon, English muffin was more than enough, was delicious and very generous serving, even being the half order. A lovely meal. We will be back, even though we live in Lakewood, more than happy to make the drive.

Back into DuPont, looking for new food places. We (Justine & I) tried McNamara’s after being away for 8 years. STILL a place to catch a good meal. Had the Charlie Mac’s dip sandwich; super yummy! She had the Irish Onion Soup and side salad; made w/Guinness and tasty, “like a nice grilled cheese in here” talking about her soup (she said to me)! Staff (Waitress Audrey) was very helpful, kind and many thanks to the Chef tonight. So hungry I forgot to take pics before eating began... sorry, my bad.
