We just moved to the area and this was our first dining experience in Olympia in years. The food was incredible and the back patio is great. The service staff was also super friendly and helpful. Definitely going to be a regular spot for us. Also, the best carrot cake I've had in many years and carrot cake is my favorite dessert so that is a must try. Update: don't get the olive pasta. Nothing wrong with it, it's just that everything else on the menu is delicious and much more creative. This is a menu filler. Update: BLT is one of the best I've ever had

We had a great brunch today! A friend had dinner there and loved the atmosphere, so we wanted to stop by for brunch first. We loved everything from the service and food to the atmosphere. Before heading there, we tried to find out if they were kid-friendly but couldn’t find much online. I’m unsure about the dinner menu, but the brunch menu had no kids' items. The only thing that my kid agreed to try was the French toast, which was huge so be mindful of that. It would have been nice to have some mini pancakes/waffles for kids. The beignets were fluffy and so delicious! This place is great for date nights. We will definitely go back for date night dinner!

A jolly, busy spot great for Sunday brunch. All the staff were courteous and made us feel most welcome. Wicked cool art for sale in the hallway in the back. Yummy food, just order an appetizer so you don’t walk away hungry.

It is a great restaurant by the park with a pound and overlooking the capital. The food is unique and good. There are several displays of art throughout the restaurant, and it has an open atmosphere with a patio.

Came here for the first time tonight for coffee and dessert after dinner down the street. With Capitol lake in the near distance, the lights made a welcome reflection for a pleasant evening walk. We came in at 830pm, just a half hour before closing. We were seated promptly with a smile. Our server took our order, we split the ginger carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. The coffee was french pressed, a very good Dancing Goats blend we found out. We weren't rushed, and we could see others exiting from larger gatherings with numerous smiles & hugs. Looks like a good place for such. We paid our bill, talked with our server for a bit, and looked at the lay out .. Very nicely decorated with lights, sea creature pictures, and flowers. We had a pleasant time and the desert was good. Going to try dinner in the future. 👍

First time in, and we immediately recognized the friendly vibes of the staff and smiling diners. When you can you always should start any brunch with beignets, and we did. So light, and the powdered sugar was as high as Rainier…we just scooped into the warm insides and took the sugar rush, thank you. Oh, the coffee. The coffee. We were like a couple of tourists going on about it…well, maybe the sugar was kicking in but Batdorf & Bronson Dancing Goats blend is our new choice. Onto the Dungeness crab cakes-perfect. And Eggs Shakshuka. I know it can be a challenge to try something new, especially when the all the favs are on a menu, but this was amazingly spicy/tasty! Wow. And the coffee! Go on by, your tastebuds will thank you

We ordered the muscles Cha Cha, shrimp tacos, smoked oysters, cherry bread pudding, and shrimp in purgatory. The muscles were our favorite! Fantastic flavors. The shrimp tacos were solid and very good. The shrimp in purgatory was Good but lacking in flavor. Maybe a little more spice. Nothing special about the smoked oysters. Okay selection of beers on tap. Ordered a lemon drop and the glass arrived half full. We felt a little gypped with the amount served. Our biggest disappointment was the dessert. The cherry bread pudding did not have a liqueur sauce or any alcohol, plus the whole roasted almonds on the top seemed like an afterthought and did not fit. It was flavorless. We each had maybe a bite or two and left the rest. Very disappointing end to a pretty good meal.

Great atmosphere and food. Staff was tentative and food came relatively quick. First time eating at a Tapas Restaurant. Ordering a bunch of small plates to share and try amongst friends and family. They also have normal entrees if wanted. Definitely going back to try more plates!

Great food and drink menu and atmosphere. The service was excellent. Although the food was great and the restaurant is family-friendly, I did not notice too many options for the younger kids. My daughter (12) had the Carnitas Tacos with Salsa verde. This is a great date night spot, to hang out with friends or just try something new!!

Brunch was better than advertised. The best restaurant eggs benedict I’ve had in a long time, possibly ever. The hollandaise was made from scratch, in house. Fun atmosphere as well. We’ll definitely be going back for brunch again.

We hosted our company party here, and we were very happy with the service, food, and accommodations. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We had about 30+ people, and I appreciate how they took care of us.

Wow! Such a tasty breakfast. I had the oyster fry… and the egg, Brussels hash and mushrooms were really delicious. Food arrived fast, hot and well prepared. The restaurant was busy however, service was on point (Victoria was awesome). I was visiting Olympia for a few days and tried this place because of the reviews and location… it’s worth a trip if you’re in town.

Excellent service, excellent appetizers (smoked mozzarella fondue) and really good prices. As for the entrees they were terrible. The oxe tail birria was over saturated with tomato paste, no flavors and meet was overcooked. The smoked salmon pasta was terrible as well. We didn’t finish either.

If I could give this wonderful place 6 stars or more, I would. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The hand crafted cocktails were amazing. The tapas were so good, I wanted to order more and more. This is the kind of place you think about often for days and weeks after being there. This place is at the top of my list of favorite places by far!

Fresh and good quality sea food, fair prices. Tasty fresh and baked oysters. Though some main meals receipts should be revised for a good flavor balance and ingredients matching. Good was excellent.

The food and ambiance were very nice. The park across the street is beautiful. The receptionist greeted me with a smile. The Dungeness crab eggs Benedict with crispy hash browns were to die for. The stuffed French toast was sinfully delicious. The crunchy bits of brown sugar on top was amazing. Their bloody Mary was excellent and slightly spicy in the best way. I will definitely be coming back.

Honestly, the coffee sucked. Huevos rancheros with rye bread we’re delicious. Would come again.

Loved the food! My favorite was the octopus. Perfectly prepared. We had five tapas and they were all delicious. Our server was exuberant and was attentive and knew the menu by heart. Will definitely go again.

We went with 2 other couples tonight and it was our first trip. The intent was to share appetizers and drinks with good company. However, after walking in and experiencing the atmosphere and reading the menu it was a full meal for all! I had a Rose of the Dead cocktail - 😋 We did share a few tapas - crab cakes, a potato dish, and cauliflower dish and they were all fabulous. I had a meatless pasta dish that was very tasty. One of our friends had an octopus dish and he said it was amazing. From my seat, the plating was fantastic, but I didn't sample. We opted for outdoor seating and am so glad we did! I typically shy away from outdoor seating because I burn easily and don't enjoy sitting with the sun in my face while I eat. Octapas has solved the problem - it is covered outdoor seating. Perfect! The decor is quite lovely. I felt like it was simple sophistication. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and can guarantee I will be back.

Great options! Fresh and balanced flavors in each dish. The grilled octopus was exquisite. I'm gluten free and dairy free and found a well marked menu with several options in each category. The wait staff was wonderful, engaging and knowledgeable. Even with a very full house (a wedding and anniversary party) our dinner was immaculate. An absolute treasure, and a new favorite. Thank you so much.

Disappointed beignets are only weekend brunch. Food was great! Server was nice and friendly! Parking was not easy to find. That’s normally a good thing at restaurants.
