Low-key, calm, and atmospheric taproom. Amazing selection of 14 different, delicious brews all made on-site. Vodka and gin made on-site, too. Outside food was welcome. Loved the double IPA.

In our town of several breweries, this place deserves some attention! A small out of the main area tap room, but super welcoming and friendly! The brewer was tending the bar - which I love! There is nothing like getting the story and notes on the beer direct from the source. The passion that comes through makes the beer taste even better, but this beer does not need that boost because it is already 5 stars! My favorite so far is the coconut porter. I can't wait to come back and try more creations from this wonderful brewery!

Boy, what a gem! This place has an amazing atmosphere. And it's close to work! 😉 But seriously, go check out their great brews! The outdoor seating is unique and comfortable. Smoking area with music as well.

I love trying new and fun beers, but when you pair that with wonderful people it makes for a magical experience. I live this place. The beers are varied with varieties for all tastes. BUT they also have gin and vodka they distill also. I am not even a gin fan but I'll drink their gin. I am a bit of a vodka connoisseur and there's is amazing! Olympia Vodka people! If you wanna support a local brewery and distillery, this is an awesome place they don't serve food yet, other than bags of chips and nuts, but they're not offended if you bring in your own. Come visit!!!!!

Awesome place to get together and enjoy great beer! No TVs here so not a good place to watch sports, but that's a great thing to me!

Liked the beer but really poor customer service. Our server spent his entire time, 30 minutes, talking to someone at the end of the bar. There were only four of us in the bar. Did not ask us if we liked the beer or if we wanted anything else, nothing. Won't be back.

If you're in the Olympia area, drive the half mile from downtown over to Hoh River Brewing. 15 beers on tap when I was there. I had a pint as well as a flight and all the beers were excellent! I believe John the brew master was pouring. Such a nice guy. And so much fun having him explain brewing precesses for different beers. I will Definitely come back when I'm in town!

One of my fav local spots to enjoy good beer, good people and friendly staff! Been coming here a long time and it's a small place with a unique atmosphere. Swing by, enjoy the many different beers they have on tap and maybe meet a local or two. 😉. Three cheers for the Hoh!

Award winning, top notch beer, and they actually have something other than IPA..which is getting harder to find these days. The owner John knows his product and does a good job explaining the differences. Very reasonable prices, love that flights aren't hiked up like most places. Secluded and comfy outside seating with music, classy clean interior. Highly recommend checking it out.

This brewery has a great menu of beers with a low-key vibe and good prices. The have the best hefeweizen in the area, hands down, and a bunch of other interesting German beer styles, amongst other things. Just a wonderful little spot off the beaten path to get a few fantastic beers.

What a gem we found! Fantastic beers in a comfortable setting. Truly enjoyed the variety and quality of the brews. I have visited micro breweries across north America and this one is a must visit!

Hidden place for some really creative beer, hard to find non-IPA German style beer like hefeweizen or a nice larger from brewery, but this place have it all.

Awesome beer and awesome people! Great atmosphere and John was a pleasure to have a conversation with!! While we are just visiting, if I'm ever in the area again, I plan on making it a point to stop again!

Hoh River Brewery is a humble affair, but don't let that fool you! It's truly a hidden gem and worth a visit if you're in the Olympia area. We really enjoyed the marzen and pilsner. Also had a quick chat with the head brewer and learned more about the brewery and some of the experimental beers they sometimes brew. we'll definitely be back!!
