Overall, what truly gives this place its best selling points - the location, views, cleanliness and beautiful structure. However, the food is quite honestly remarkably average at best. The steak was decent, cooked to closely medium rare, but below average in comparison to other steak houses. The sides were not so great - potatoes tasted like they were made out of a bag of powdered potatoes. Service was friendly, but not attentive at all. Despite not being that busy, there were exceptionally long time gaps between being seen, placing orders, drink refills, and receiving the check. I recommend dining here if only for the lovely view of the water.

My husband and I tried out Anthony's for our last night in Olympia before heading to Seattle. We did not have reservations as we decided to go last minute. We were seated almost immediately upon arrival with all staff super nice and courteous. Dinner service was prompt & efficient. The caesar salad was wonderful as a starter with just the right amount of dressing and toppings. My husband ordered the Margarita Prawn Pasta with asparagus and I had the Steelhead fish with corn pudding and asparagus. They do bring out a garlic focaccia type bread to accompany your meal as well. Everything tasted wonderfully and cooked perfect! We enjoyed our time here and would definitely go back! The scenic views were relaxing and wonderful for catching the sunset!

Beautiful and calm place to celebrate life events, I truly enjoyed this place. Food taste was exquisite and view from the restaurant was amazing. Must try their fall season special Apple dessert.

An upscale restaurant in all respects. Wide menu with many dishes outside the American mainstream. Everything we tried tasted very good. Professional, not intrusive but always attentive service. Not cheap but worth the money.

I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here today. The restaurant was spotless and had a great NW atmosphere looking at over Budd Inlet. The fish and chips were done to perfection and the fries or second to none. All of this coupled with excellent table service. I will be coming here again!

Charming waiter. Beautiful view. Limited menu, but something for everyone. Cod burger was great. ( I was hungry...should have ordered a side of fries with it.) Peaches were in season. Desserts were all peach themed. Picture is peach pie in a jar. Yummy. If you like Anthony's, this is Anthony's Light.

When we got an unexpected opportunity for a date night kidless we jumped to it. It's been years since we've at Hearthfire and the weather was too nice tonight to not head on down. We made our reservation online, which I recommend because of the location and views it is super popular. Especially during the summer and crisp warm fall nights. We ate inside this time but love the deck too. Amazing service, view always incredible and the food sublime. I couldn't ask for a better night out with my love, excited to go back because it was so delicious. We got a drink, entree and dessert for each of us and the $$ we spent was worth it.

Excellent food and service. The best halibut and steelhead I have had since coming to WA. Cornbread was authentic and unique. The bread served before the meal was also delicious. The reviews are on par with this place, definitely coming back.

Go for the view! The food was just okay, unfortunately. I wouldn't go specifically for it. The margarita was weak. And the service was super slow, despite it not being busy. Kind of felt forgotten about, but at least we didn't feel rushed! (That's the worst, right?) And we got to sit and talk and enjoy the view, so maybe it wasn't so bad. (Although, the rhubarb-strawberry margarita we decided to try while we were eating felt like a to-go drink because it arrived after the plates were cleared and we were ready for the check 😂) But the atmosphere and location makes it ideal for a meal out with friends, family, or business partners. I'd say it's a good place to go for a special occasion or to take a visiting or potential colleague.

Anthony's, located on the waterfront of Olympia, offers a truly unique dining experience with its stunning view. It's surprising that more restaurants don't take advantage of such a prime location. The meal was absolutely delicious, and the floor-to-ceiling windows provided an incredible backdrop for our dining experience. The staff added to the fun atmosphere, making it a memorable visit. I highly recommend Anthony's for anyone looking for a combination of great food, a scenic view, and friendly service.

It's worth it just for the view. They were busy, so it took a while to get drinks. We got a spot tucked away in the corner outside, and it was perfect. I love how it's separate from the rest of the city. The menu is pretty small. I decided on a strawberry mojito, and it topped any of the other drinks I ordered off the menu. The crab and artichoke dip was amazing. I also got a salad and desert. Yum! The desert was fluffy, yet biscuit like. I recommend all pictured items!

Was recommended this place by our Airbnb guy and it did not disappoint! We got the seasonal cocktails, my friend got seafood Mac and cheese and I got the Kobe beef salad and we both got the seasonal cheesecake. Such a good time and it was lovely being outside by the water and sipping a fruity drink.

Great spot for waterside dining. Food is well prepared and the cocktail menu is always offering something new. Sitting outside on the patio during nice weather is a must, but don't forget your sun glasses! Gluten-Free rating: 3.5/5 Gluten-free friendly, but limited in offerings.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. The location is magnificent, beautiful setting, large glass windows. Outdoor patio with beautiful views. The food was also excellent. Staff is courteous. I would definitely recommend this as the best place to eat in Olympia.

We were excited to arrive to yet another Anthony’s after Covid happened but left unhappy. To start off, we’d arrived at exactly 7:07 for a 7:15 reservation. The sunrise started our evening beautifully, yet, being seated was confusing. Upon arrival the staff at the front, we will say Lady A.. Lady A asked us for our names. Then Lady B walked up and asked the same question. After exactly 8 minutes Lady C walked up to seat us. That was perfectly fine till we tried ordering. It took about 10 minutes for us to get our drinks and another 11 to get our small tenderloin Starter at exactly 737. After another wait period we’d sat waiting to order our food which was asked of us exactly 10 minutes later and came at 7:57. The original server that had sat us down came up to us twice, during the entire service, once, to refill my drink, and the second time to pick up our appetizer plates. As a matter of fact we had a male server refill our breadbasket. And another female refill our other cup. It was understandable, the night was busy. As far as the prices go, our total came out to 101$ for one starter, two drinks, two entrees, two sides of mashed potatoes, and a dessert. Which was reasonable. The food wasn’t amazing, the wait could’ve been better, the attentiveness of our server could have been better. At least we got to enjoy the sunset. Overall we’d left on a full stomach and that was all that mattered.

Nice establishment and good service. The evening window side seating with nice dinner is the perfect way to relax. The waiter was very good, got us all the food as we wish and suggested options to make the dinner memorable. We had our son with us and he enjoyed the food too. Food is reasonably priced for the ambience and service. We will visit again for sure.

Ask for extra seasoning on your ribeye! Came here with my wife for our anniversary dinner and overall it was a great experience with a minor hiccup. The Caesar salad, tomato soup, mashed potatoes and asparagus were great but unfortunately my ribeye was bland. We couldn't taste any seasoning on it in the least bit. The waitress asked how was our food and I was honest about my disappointment but was just going to make the best of it without sending it back. Her boss came out shortly after and reassured me they have no issue redoing the order so I'm satisfied. I finally agreed and the second steak had noticeably more flavor than the first. Still needed salt lol but it was better. The staff cares about making sure people have a great dining experience and it showed. I'm very uncomfortable with sending food back when dining out, but my mind was put to ease. The staff was great the entire time.

Great dining experience. Food was amazing. Atmosphere was casual yet sophisticated. Prices were mid range, but food was worth it. On of my fish pieces actually looked like a fish tail, was accident I sure but it was cool. My ice cream was wonderful. The loo had a sink in with the toilet very clever.

This is an amazing upscale restaurant with some of the best food in the puget sound. Located on the water in Olympia, Anthony's is a great place for a nice atmosphere to have a special meal. During my visit, they had an early bird special - Salad (or soup) the most amazing steak I have ever had, and an amazing dessert to finish off the special. The service was top notch and the never ending garlic Flatbread was addicting.

We went here for our anniversary dinner and couldn't have picked a better option. We had the Crab and Corn Chowder which was smooth and buttery, the Calamari absolutely melted in the mouth - the Almond Romesco Aioli had so much depth of flavor it was unreal! My partner had Sirloin and Lobster (from the Mon - Thurs surf and turf special, great deal) which was perfectly cooked, it was more like half a Lobster tail but it was delicious. The potatoes served with both mains were buttery, cheesy and smooth - absofreakinglutely delicious! I had the Northwest Tenderloin Filet with Gorgonzola truffle butter and let me tell you, my first mouthful brought tears to my eyes, it was THAT. DAMN. GOOD. Cannot recommend it enough, I will remember that steak for a long, LONG time. The above plus 2 mocktails was $137 + tip, I think the quality was absolutely worth the price. Staff were lovely and they even had a card celebrating our anniversary waiting for us. Going here for a special occasion is a no brainer.

Highly recommending this place for LUNCH on the water. Stopped in for a birthday lunch and really enjoyed how lowkey, but beautiful, this restaurant is. We sat windowside and watched as the birds dove, jellyfish waded, and tide went back out. Very cool experience. The food was also really good and really reasonably priced. From the lunch menu, we had the classic fish and chips, along with a salmon burger. Also enjoyed a glass of Cab and their seasonal appletini. All of it was really well prepared and we had a great time. Even with drinks and an app, we got out without breaking the bank, too. That’s a huge upside after hearing all the hype surrounding this dining experience. Overall, it’s an easy recommendation. We’re hoping to come back for dinner soon.

We had a fantastic birthday dinner at this restaurant. We had a reservation but it was at their other location and they fit us in anyway. The waitress, Tiffanie, was fabulous and friendly, remembered our son's name and was altogether amazing. No complaints at all, will return. The view is also a big bonus.

Kiana was our server this time and the last time we came a few months ago too. She was so friendly and inviting and gave us excellent service. The food arrived nice and hot and was just delicious. Definitely go before 5pm on weekdays for the early dinner specials if you want to get the best deal. If you're bringing a date, schedule your reservation for 30 minutes before sunset and request a window table. So beautiful and romantic.

I was craving lobster and was having a very difficult time finding a place with lobster. Not only do they have lobster but it was also on special! I really enjoyed the lobster bisque, lobster tail and lobster mac n cheese! Yes I went all out on the lobster and it was totally worth the money!

I greatly appreciate how accommodating they were to our large party this Sunday. The service and food quality was great. My only complaint is the extremely limited menu. For the most part, everyone enjoyed their meals but many of us settled due to limitations. I suggest confirming menu options before making reservations, as we were all expecting totally different experience.
