Old School Pizza is the best pizza place in Thurston County in my opinion. Their pizza has its own texture and is always good. I was sad to see some of the old arcade games are no longer here, but there is pinball and a couple arcade games left.

Cool little joint. They have a limited menu of pizza by the slice if your not that hungry. There are a few pinball and video games to play. Pizza was ok, had a slice of pepperoni and another, but don't remember the name... also tried some cider they had on tap and it was really good. Cool place to stop by if your downtown.

I love the pizza there. It's hand-tossed. Fresh ingredients. They have salads 🥗. Wine beer sodas. Arcade games in Back. Music playing good vibes.

This pizza place is pretty cool. They have delicious pizza. We tried a few slices of the Sicilian which is thick crust and the thin crust pepperoni and cheese. It’s all delicious. You do need to show your vaccination card to dine in. They have some other items like salad on the menu.

This place is ridiculous! Great pizza great staff, and good vibes. And this is the only pizza joint with a must visit bathroom. Awesome graffiti in there.

Ordered two Old School Pizzas, one gluten free and one regular. Loved the fresh mozzarella, basil, and pomodoro sauce. The gluten free pizza crust was on the thinner side and not too dense or chewy like some tend to be. Thoroughly enjoyed both pizzas, and prices were very reasonable.

The pizza here is very good - decent price for a slice. The crust had a nice crunch to it. I also loved the décor of this place. It had a fun atmosphere.

The pizza can't stand on it's own, no real flavor. The calzone was really good. The dining in options are restricted. The restaurant is in a kinda sketchy neighborhood.

Pizza was good, definitely the best I've had in washington so far and I've been on something of a quest to try as many pizza places as possible, being from the east coast. The reason this is a 3-star review is because I found a large bit of unidentifiable, foreign material in a slice of pie. I initially thought it to be the top end or stem of a jalapeño but now, I am really not sure of anything other than the fact that it would have been a choking hazard, had I swallowed it. Photo of object will be added Got take out but the vibe inside is good, decor is great - love that it's just one big collage, and the staff was friendy. Service and atmosphere were great

Awesome pizza place. Perfect NY-style slices in a retro atmosphere. Quality drinks, comfortable seating, and great prices. I will definitely be returning.

Old School pizza was decent. The atmosphere was fun. Graffiti and old posters everywhere. They didn't have a case showing off what by the slice options were available, I found that frustrating, I like to pick out my slice. Plus I misread the chalkboard and got a slice with pepperoncini instead of pepperoni, and I swear it said marinara sauce, but the was no sauce at all, not even white, just a lot of cheese and a few pepperoncini tomato slices. The taste was fine, but kind of bland, especially the crust which was also a bit dry. I'm also jaded because I'm used to Waterfront Pizza in Port Townsend, they have the best pizza.

So being from NYC and having tried “NY-style” pizzas outside the city, I know what I’m getting into. Based on my lowered standards, the pizzas were fine. Had the pepperoni and the olive and mushroom. My main issue was with the crust. It’s drier and not chewy enough, which makes it harder to fold and eat properly. I couldn’t finish the hard crust. It was like a cracker. Now onto the biggest issue I had with this place. There’s a mural of the NYC skyline and it’s from pre-9/11 because the Twin Towers is featured prominently on it. That’s all fine and good but it looks like a staff person (it’s behind the counter) added in an antennae and a person climbing or half-dangling from it. I can only attribute this to an attempt at humor or ignorance and whoever added this was unaware that this was one of the Twin Towers. I found this extremely disrespectful and offensive to the people in the buildings and the first responders who died that day and the American soldiers who were traumatized, injured, or lost their lives in the subsequent war. Are they not aware that people actually jumped from the building in an attempt to escape the flames? I suggest the owners of the shop take it down before it offends anyone else. Two stars for the quality of the pizza.

Cool spot. I have ordered from there on multiple occasions. Have had their cheese, pepperoni and Al Green pizzas as well as garlic knots. Decor inside is most definitely old school, lots of 90s pics/posters. They sell alcohol and other beverages. Wait can be kind of long especially on a Friday. Garlic knots are different but still good. My one qualm is that they will not allow you to order knots over the phone without ordering a pie, seems random and like a silly rule. One time I waited over a half hour for knots, my order got lost in the shuffle. Overall a good bet for good pizza. Meter parking in front.

Perfectly cooked pizza! The NY style slices fold perfectly in half and drip about 6-8 drips of grease. Perfectly greasy without being real greasy. The Sicilian slices at luscious pillows of flavorful heaven. The cheese is chewy / crispy on the end I can’t get enough of it. The staff are really freaking cool. They look “too cool” but are seriously nice. The North Jetty Tsunami Siren IPA is a tasty light IPA that taste like dipping your toes into a pool at sunset refreshing. The atmosphere is what the name of this place is, Old school. The red booths and seats are what they were when I was here everyday in high school which is when I was last here. There’s still a few fun arcade games in the back and the front has a great selection of drinks (adult and non alcohol) with a great selection of slices and whole pies. I… LOVE… THIS PLACE SO MUCH. Thanks for the good food, the good music, the good vibes and the good drinks. You guys rule!

A friend recommended we stop here on our trip to Olympic National Park. I’m so glad we listened! As a pizza lover, Old School Pizzeria hands down was fantastic! Not only was the pizza crust crusty (which is a must for me), the pizza was cheesy, it was foldable and was out of this world! The vibe was on point. Posters everywhere, graffiti, stickers. Honestly makes it worth visiting just for that! Additionally, the staff were kind and answered any question I had! If you are in Olympia and love pizza make a stop here! You won’t regret it!

2:18 on a Tuesday? Doesn't matter, this place is busy because it's the best pizza offered in Olympia. Buy by slice or by the pie, hot, NY style pizza. By far this place has the best NY rendition in my experience

I went here 4 times in 2 weeks for the first time. It’s 10/10. I’m a picky pizza eater (after visiting NYC, nothing was the same); this pizza is up there with your NYC-quality pizza. Friendly staff, amazing toppings, quality local brews for ~$2 a 🍺. A dream come true! Make sure to tip!

This place gets 5 stars. The pizza from this place is my absolute favorite. And the best in Washington. I tend to eat here 2 or 3 times a week. The one thing I dislike and is the only downfall to this restaurant is it’s crawling with homeless people. And the staff enable it by giving them free drinks and food. I’m not against homeless people or anything but when I spend hundreds of dollars a month in a establishment I would really like to not see homeless people begging for food and asking me for food. It makes me and others I know who have been eating here since we were kids not want to come down anymore and that makes me sad. As this is definitely my favorite place to eat. Hopefully they fix these small inconveniences.

I LOVE Calzones! Old school pizzeria has the best!! ❤️ Soft dough, not hard at all. And a very yummy cherry soda. I ordered takeout and only a 15Minute wait, picked it up, made it all the way home and my calzone was still very warm.

I called in, and the order was ready when they said it would be. The crust and sauce for the calzone I had was just right, and it's really hard to beat at $7.00 + $0.85 for each additional topping. The calzone was very delicious. I've always had a good experience here, and I'm glad to see they're still doing pizza right!

Great place to eat Pizza is among my favorites in town. Very nostalgic, and will easily take you back to the 80s. Pizza 🍕 is a little pricier than other places, but the slices are much much larger. Has pinball machines and classic arcade games. If you want alcohol, they serve that too. All of this within walking distance of the Oly night life.

OH WOW!! 🤤😋 I have been looking for a fantastic pizza joint and I found it tonight!! I ordered the slice of pepperoni, but had to go back and get another!! So yummy 😋 They do need to add just a little more sauce, but was perfect the way it was.

Not bad for pizza.by the slice. Service sucks but I guess we can't all be perfect. Lots of drug addicts walking around that area so I'd avoid it after dark.

One of the best pizza places in the Olympia area, although quality has fallen off a bit in the last couple of years. This is the closest thing to authentic New York style pizza my wife has been able to find, after having grown up there and spent time looking for it here. It's become even more expensive than most other restaurant food over the last several years. The crust used to be thinner and has been much thicker and more bread-like the last handful of times I've been in. With all this in mind, it's still one of your best pizza options, and one of the rare places where you can buy individual slices, as well as whole pies.

Great pizza, fun decor. In my opinion it's in a relatively good place downtown, not too far away from anything and just generally a good place. Also it's not very echo-y which is really nice for my sensory issues and makes it a lot easier to talk to people in the restaurant.

I've been coming to Old School since moving to Oly in 2014 and then on visits after moving out in 2017. Whether you are there for a slice, a pie or those amazing garlic knots, you won't be sorry. Having lived in the area for years, this is the best NY slice you can find. Big slices (including vegan varieties) that have that right balance of sweet not overly tangy marina and mozz. Crust is perfect, crunchy enough with a great chew. The garlic knots are also fantastic. Chewy with a great flavor and sprinkles with parm. The vibe is 80's pizzeria with tons of cool posters and some video games. They have both fountain drinks, canned and bottled beverages and beer. Always come back whenever I'm in town.

This place has some of the best pizza slices that aren't your average choices. I love the goat cheese and peppers and so many different choices. It's different daily so I can try something outside of the box all the time. Pretty good choice of brews too.

The old school pizzeria. What can I say, I came for the pizza and stayed for the atmosphere, which in this case just makes for more interesting dinners while dining on a sidewalk or parking lot. All the while taking in the beautiful murals adorning the alleys and brick walls, I have found my "go-to" pizza joint 👋

If you're visiting from the East Coast and miss good NY style pizza, Old School Pizzeria is a MUST. This is the first place to satisfy my pizza cravings while I'm out here visiting family, and I will DEFINITELY be back the next time I'm in town. The pizza here passes the fold test, and the atmosphere passes the vibe check 👌 The Tree Hugger (all veggie pizza) with roasted garlic, mushrooms, olives, and jalapenos with a round of beers was the perfect lunch option.
