Great food and experience. Sushi was top notch with excellent variety. The Angry Bird roll(sushi roll wrapped in foil and lit) and Unagi nigiri were the highlights for me. Definitely worth visiting if in the area. Price is average but nonetheless an awesome experience!

We passed Olympia area and stopped by for lunch. We had tried Koibito Sushi & Teriyaki Olympia before which owner is Korean and wanted to try Sushi house. Spacey sitting area and good service. The Lunch special are good deals. Salmon bento $18 and Sashimi plate $19. Many rolls to choose from. The prices are slightly cheaper than Koibito but not as exquisite as Koibito. But I like both places. It would be 5 stars if they don’t charge hot tea($2.99 per person) 12/12/2022

I have been to this delightful restaurant twice. The dishes were beautiful and every bite was good. My favorite is the three amigo sushi with raw salmon, tuna, and some white fish. The presentation is elegant, which made me want to eat it more and the complexity was impeccable. The tiger box (the one with shrimp on top) was not as good because the texture was hard. If you prefer sashimi on it, this one doesn't have any. The Evergreen was very exquisite and is probably the best one. It has no crab or shrimp. Yum!

Absolutely delicious. Had lunch on a Tuesday afternoon, first time customer. Some of the most beautiful sushi presentation I've ever seen. Everything was amazingly fresh and flavorful. Definitely the best sushi I've had in the Olympia area so far. I usually get 2 rolls, but I'll only order 1 next time because they are very generous with their portions.

Wonderful sushi!! I was a little disappointed that the negihama roll had red sauce and smelt eggs in it, the roll tastes perfect with out the fixings. I packed it and got a futomaki roll instead, it was great. Thanks!

Sept 2022 The sushi here is pretty good. The quality and quantity of the fish is very good for the price, but the skill and presentation could be better. Most important thing to note is that the sushi here is 1.5-2 times bigger than normal sushi. Be sure to take that into account when ordering; we ended up with a LOT more sushi than we expected. While the amount of fish in the rolls was nice, the rolls themselves were not well made and were falling apart, even while sitting on the plate. Lastly, while the sushi and fish tasted good, I think they put too much sauce. Of the rolls, the 1000 Island and the Angry Bird on Fire were the most interesting. The 1000 Island roll uses crab meat in place of rice. As a result, it's heavier and more filling than if they used rice. It also doesn't hold together very well, so beware. The Angry Bird on Fire does arrive to the table wrapped in foil and on fire. When you open it up, the cream cheese is melted and the salmon on top is partially cooked. You can really taste the fumes/char when you eat it. The place itself was clean, open, and brightly lit from the windows. They have seats at the bar and an elevated seating section in the back that I believe used to be the traditional "sit on the floor" seating. Now it just has regular tables and chairs. They have mismatched settings and cups. My cup still had some lipstick on it; likely it wasn't spot cleaned after it was machine washed. The staff were friendly, quick, and attentive. Not to mention understanding of our need for boxes at the end 😅.

Came here to a few times with my husband and children and every time we have good service, good quality food and the atmosphere is great. I haven’t had a bad dish yet! Best sushi place in the area /)

Excellent sushi, best in the area! We splurged and got the sashimi platter, can't get it out of my mind! Everything is so fresh here and the fish tastes so crisp and clean. You have to be adventurous and get the nigiri or sashimi!!!

Wanted to try a different sushi place, the food is similar to other sushi places, but the sushi is bigger compared to other places, and not just all rice 👍, so worth the price. But a little disappointed with dragon rolls, which barely has any eel in it, more just crab meat. Like that they have few rice paper rolls, which is just meats without the rice. Definitely will come back to dry other dishes.

Sushi House is an excellent place to go. They offer all your regular style rolls and also provide an exciting variety of beautiful and flavorful special rolls. They have sushi bar style seating as well as booths and large party style tables, and have a large Saki menu. Staff is polite and friendly, and the environment is clean and well kept.

Hands down, best sushi in the area! The bill will be a little more expensive here than most places, but the meal is very good and I don't mind paying for quality. I recommend the sashimi plate, all of the fish was excellent and very fresh. They also have an extensive sake menu with decent prices.

Beautiful restaurant. Friendly knowledgeable wait staff. Expert chefs. Everything is so very fresh and appetizing. Our server even recommended the right sake to pair with our selections. I highly recommend Sushi house. Dine in or take out!

Food and service are excellent. Take out is also good. The salmon is fantastic as is the soup and grilled vegetables. Service is friendly and fast. The place is clean and customers are welcome as they walk in. Prices are affordable, especially for the area.

Very fresh and very tasty. After being diagnosed with celiac I despaired of ever having good sushi again. I am so grateful for their gluten free rolls and soy sauce. And their rolls are 3 to 4 time bigger than what we expected so it really felt like a great value. I will definitely be back.

Best sushi I've ever had, consistently. Very beautiful presentation, nice minimalist and tasteful decor. Music is pretty bad top40s but I guess that's what people like. Won't fault em for it! Must try if you haven't been..... I really mean that.

This was my first time at Sushi House and the food and service was great! I would highly recommend it. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and there was a large selection of items to choose from. Something for everyone. I liked the rolls without rice 😋

They completely ruined sushi for me but in the best way possible. Safe to say it was the best I've ever had. I can't stand salmon and theirs was beyond delicious. It was pretty busy when we went and everything was at our table very quickly. A+ all around

Best in town! One of the best in the state. The minimal amount of bad reviews are from entitled people that often had to wait for something they didn't want to wait for. It's funny, a thousand 5 stars and a handful of ones. I love discrepancies like this in reviews. It really highlights the entitled members of your community. This place is seriously excellent. The portions: quality: price ratios are amazing. Expect modern service (the kind you're not sure if you're supposed to tip); sometimes it's just one person bringing you water, another handing you a plate of food, and nobody ever checking on you. Other times you can expect full service, with attention to drink levels, satisfaction, and more. You won't be disappointed.

Recently found this place after looking all over for any kind of good Japanese food in Thurston - this is the best! Food is delicious, the place is spotless, and the service spectacular and fast! In fact, if you order an appetizer, wait a bit to order your entree or it'll come so quickly, you'll have too much food getting cold on your table. Seriously, it's that fast. Our new favorite restaurant in the area!

Absolutely unreal quality sushi. Definitely worth the money. Staff was extremely polite and helpful, frequently checking up on us to make sure our visit was top notch. Definitely going to re-visit soon.
