Order - Beef Lamb Shawarma Slow roasted on a spit topped with fresh and pickled vegetables and garlic sauce in a pita bread. Time - within 5 mins. Presentation - see pics, looks amazing. It's a wrap 😁 Quality - 4/5 - it was delicious, if they had an option of sauces it would be even better. The meat was nicely cooked and the full combination was fresh. Quantity - 3/5 - Above Average. Not too much or too little. The pita could have been bigger and there wasn't a combo/meal option with a side and a drink included. Value for money - Good value for money. Additional - All in all, you get what you pay for and it was definitely fast food.

Not sure what others are talking about, the walk to it is barely elevated. It's apart of a few other food trucks and a drive thru coffee shop. I walked to it but parking looks like it could be a little bit of a pain. Food was very good! Got the falafel wrap and sweet potato fries and it was very tasty. Right amount of spice and I waited maybe 5 minutes for my food. There were about 9 tables if you stayed, but I walked and ate. I would def go again! It's not badly priced at all

Today was my first time trying Nineveh so I asked the kind lady that helped me what was popular and what she recommended. The chicken shawarma and dolma are what she recommended, so I tried both and they are absolutely delicious! I’ve never had anything like dolma before and the flavors meld together amazingly. Support a local food truck and try Nineveh!

Amazing food truck serving authentic food in Olympia. I wish I knew about this food truck before. Stopped by around noon to order and they are popular. We ordered their chicken shawarma sandwich, falafel sandwich, fries with garlic sauce, fried cauliflower and everything tasted fresh & great. Food comes out pretty fast and they also have some beverages to select. Their sandwiches are pretty filling even without the sides. The only one feedback - I asked them for hot sauce to be added in my sandwich and it still wasnt spicy at all. Nonetheless, the sandwich was flavorful. Highly recommend this food truck. Every time I am in Olympia I will stop by here for sure.

Pretty good vegetarian food that they have here- especially the falafel! It falls apart easily though- just for a warning wouldn’t be good to have kids eat it, and there’s a nice outside place to sit!

It's getting hard to find a decent gyro in Olympia, so I ended my search by finding the close cousin, the swarma. It was good, but could have used more lamb, because the ratio mainly tasted like beef. But it was very delicious. The garlic sauce had tons of flavor, the pickled veggies were a healthy addition and there was plenty of meat. I will definitely be back, just hope to taste more lamb next time.

Had the lamb Schwarma. It was ok but not really amazing meat was pretty dry. Don't really taste the reason for the hype on this first visit.

Delicious food. Deep fried cauliflower was tasty, still a bit crunchy. Nice sauces came with it. Chicken shawarma was good and had picked vegetable in it. Service was friendly and helpful.

My ultimate favorite is Sabich!! Hubby and I got this for Father’s Day dinner and enjoyed every bite! Great paired with a San Pellegrino sparking “bubbleh” and shared perfectly cooked hand cut fries. We are always repeat customers!! Toda!

Located in downtown Olympia, this place has an awesome feel to it. Food is amazing and with other food trucks to choose from. I love this one in particular since they serve Donner style kebabs. I always order Salad Donner with a side of basmati rice. A definite find and highly recommended.

Complete waste of money. I ordered the sabich sandwich, and when I got home and unwrapped it, the paper it was wrapped in was completely drenched in oil. I had to wipe excess oil off the sandwich with a napkin and even that wasn't enough because the inside was also covered in oil. To make matters worse, I ordered it with potato instead of hardboiled eggs inside (an option on the menu) and they still made it with eggs. Complete waste of $11. Definitely go somewhere else.

How do you rate the atmosphere for a food truck? I like the fact that there are several food trucks in this little area. But I have to tell you that I haven't tried them all because I love Nineveh so much! Also, the only reason I go downtown these days is pretty much because I want to eat food from Nineveh. I get the shawarma and the bourek. I definitely need to try other things as well.

The chicken shawarma sandwich is honestly one of my favorite things to eat in Olympia. I haven't tried most of their other offerings because I typically stick with a thing I like when I find it when talking about food. The service is hit or miss; if its the younger folks working or the women they're very friendly and quick, if its the older white guy he can be quite abrasive and rude. Still, one time when he accidentally gave my wife a lamb sandwich when she ordered a lamb salad, he was very apologetic and let us keep and eat the sandwich too.

Sorry no pictures. We ate and talked about all the flavors we were experiencing. We got the falafel and shawarma. They were both excellent. The spices which we couldn’t exactly place made the shawarma a touch “gamey” for me but that’s me, when I maneuvered the wrap around to make sure to get a bit of the delicious cucumber sauce and bright crunchy pickled vegetables it was less notable and beautifully balanced. My family loved it without hesitation. The falafel was also flavorful with layered flavors and a touch of heat. I’m a foodie at heart and am always thankful for a well executed and well intentioned meal. Make the stop. Grab a cider at Whitewood while you wait and meander over to 3 Mags like we did so our kiddo could eat with us.

I had some falafel with greek fries with garlic seasoning. It was simple but dang delicious, and I'll definitely be back for more when I can. The staff were also very nice.

I've not had Sabich before, but it was delicious. The ingredients were fresh, were clearly prepared with heart. I hope to be back to try everything on the menu, especially the Dolma, which the owner told me that she makes by hand!

Wow so delicious! Probably the best falafel I've had! I have food allergies that make it very hard to eat restaurant food and they knew exactly what was in their food so we could configure the falafel wrap just right. One of the most delicious vegan dishes I've had 😁

I hadn’t had a falafel in years, smelled like heaven and tasted delicious! Great customer service and everyone was so friendly. Yum yum all the stars. Parking was tricky but I did arrive at lunch time. My taste buds are screaming “Thank you!”

It was pretty good. Climbing up the hill to get into the food cart area wasn't easy on a sunny day. And then there were only two picnic tables to sit at. The one we chose the bench/seating part of it was all torn up and jaggedy. And my 1 year old grandson was sitting on it. I was worried he was going to scratch his legs badly. I ordered the deep fried cauliflower with tahini sauce. Whatever the spices were in the coating, they didn't quite belong in my opinion. And the tahini sauce didn't have any tahini in it that I could taste -at all. I'm not sure what it was. But the cauliflower pieces were cut large, and I appreciated that. Less batter. My husband ordered the chicken shawarma over salad. That was really good and I enjoyed the large portion of lettuce tomato and cucumber. The Baklava was good. Others have noted that it was heavy on the cinnamon, but I didn't mind it all. The Baklava wasn't crispy- but not soggy either. It wasn't too sweet or soaked with syrup. The problem with this food pod is that we couldn't find a garbage can anywhere.

Ninevah is a food truck that may as well be a 5 star restaurant. The Assyrian food will make Mediterranean folks feel at home, and I think anyone coukd enjoy the garlic fries, pita picket sandwiches and wraps@!

This food truck serves up some delicious food! The first bite of the lamb/beef shawarma was one of those, "Wait what!?" moments. The pita is thin, perfectly charred, and still soft. The meat is chopped small, grilled, and kind of barky like the edges of good BBQ. There are crisp pickled vegetables and a garlic sauce to give it bite and tanginess without being spicy. The guy taking the orders is also really friendly and outgoing. Love this truck!

Their sweet potato fries are the best I've ever had, and the sauce that comes with it is amazing. And dairy free! The sitting area is nothing special if you high standards, but it's peaceful and I like it. Cozy, protected from the street. Remember to feed the crow!

Really need to work on their presentation. Their food truck is falling apart, unwashed and makes me scared to eat the food.. (see picture)

Lamb/Beef Shawarma Pita - meat was pretty tough, more beef flavor than lamb (almost no lamb flavor). Very oily, but OK. It was edible, but I probably won't order it again because of the grease and it wasn't great tasting so it wasn't really worth the money in my opinion. Side of Fries - wow, these were horrible. They were very dark, and probably pre-fried half-cooked, then refried or something like that. Very greasy (oil temp probably isn't hot enough and/or oil is dirty and old), tasted like potatoes so they at least weren't old. However, the cooking method left them burnt tasting and super oily. Definitely will not pay $5 for a side of fries this rough again. I contemplated returning them, but decided I probably just won't come back. The oil of these fries definitely did not pair with the oiliness of the pita. So, I'd maybe order a pita and skip anything fried at all (order something lighter for the side). But, yeah, I won't be back.
