The hamburger was burned! A real Venezuelan hamburger has tons of stuff, ketchup, mayo, mustard, cheese, egg, ham, etc. This was pretty simple for that price. You can get a better deal in another restaurant. I think the pabellón was good, but I can not tolerate that you guys call it “ropa vieja bowl”. Are you kidding me? It doesn't make sense. I ordered all that and it wasn't enough for one person. I wanted to support Venezuelans, but this was way too expensive for the little you get. If I had got those meals in Venezuela, they would be way cheaper than this. So sad I didn't get to interact with any Venezuelan. Please add some onions and pepper to the pabellón! If you do that I would consider coming back.

Just ate here for the first time recently and had the Carne Arepa. So good. The shredded beef was very tender and flavorful and the gouda cheese was the perfect complement. The outside is a corn-based "patty" that has a slightly grainy texture similar to grits (which I love) but in a mire solid form obviously. All the flavors and textures go together well and it was enough to satisfy my hunger, even without any side dishes. I only rated it 4-stars because I've only been here once and tried one thing. But if everything tastes this good it's a definite 5-star establishment. The service was also pretty quick even though there was a decent sized group of people ordering. This was during the week at lunch time. I'll be coming back here again soon!

Cash/Card accepted Limited public parking Group Friendly Family friendly Food truck Take out Located in Olympia, Arepa Venezuelan cuisine is a must try. Prices vary from time to time. One of my local food truck area to get some tostones. There are other variations of food truck at this location. Suggest you try all of them. Parking is limited, Sundays are free metered parking. Overall a good hang out to grab a quick bite to eat when in Olympia.

Carne arepa was good. The bread could have been a little more toasty in my opinion, but it was good regardless. Costs $8 but does have a lot of meat inside. Tasted like carnitas, which I love. The fried plantains were good too.

One of our favorite stops when visiting Olympia, one of the few restaurants where the whole family can agree on. Outside of Colombia, I have not found another place quite a good.

I normally love this place, but today was disappointing. I had to go back because and item was missing, they corrected it. Ultimately my poor rating is due to being serve raw rice. When I got home and discovered it, I literally had to cook the rice again. It was so incredibly crunchy and mixed in with everything. I truly don't mind waiting a long time for food as long as it comes out cooked.

Great food truck in Olympia with several tasty vegetarian options. We usually go with plantains two ways - with the vegetarian Arepa and Patacon - and then a side of seasoned or Yuca fries! Excellent food, quick service.

I’m giving 5 stars because they loaded it up!!! Check out the pics. So much pork. No skimping here...and it was delicious! I visited on 5/26/20 in the middle of the pandemic, and it was a bit different. Not much going on. They don’t accept cash for now. Be aware when you pay with card, there is a $0.75 convenience fee. As I’m sure their business is already hurting, I can’t complain - just a heads up. Overall, the food was delicious and the service was fast. I live in Seattle, but I’ll be back next time I drive through Olympia!

Pros: delicious food, fast and friendly service. We ordered 3 Carne asada arepas, and orders of Tostones, Tajadas and Yuca fries. The Arepas were downright spectacular 10/10 and the Yuca fries with mojo sauce are just to die for. Cons: a bit hard to find, it's tucked back and not visible from all surrounding streets. Second con, is that they had raised their prices quite a bit and have not updated their website or Facebook page with this information. Because of this our order was about $20 more than we had expected to pay. All sides now cost $7 and Arepas are $11 each.

Only got the fries and tajadas but boy did they fill you up on both. The bag full of fries, while huge, only lasted a few minutes. The seasoning and crispiness was just right. Almost went back for more except I couldn't bring myself to eat another BAG of fries. Never had tajadas before but if I'm in the area again I will be getting more. Good combination of sweet and a little more sweet.

I love trying all kinds of food so it was great to be able to try some Venezuelan food. The arepa with pork was pretty good. I was hoping for a little more flavor but I don’t have previous experiences to compare it to. The flan is very good. The empanadas were pretty tasty as well. I will visit them again.

The reviews looked good and I love Latin food so I had to try but this was a not so well visit , Had the ropa vieja bowel(shredded beef w plantains, black beans & rice) , 2 empanadas (chicken & beef) and tostones (deep fried plantains) My dislike were the rice and beans ; some of the beans were hard and the rice was peeling with the bowel so the texture was not it …ended up throwing majority of the bowel away . The tostones were very un-eatable they were hard to the point you couldn’t bite in it nor chew. Only good buy was the shredded beef & empanadas. Besides that , service was ok asked question about something they were willing to explain.

My new favorite! A group of food trucks with something for everyone. Arepa has south American street food and because the bread is all corn flour, it's naturally gluten free. A lot of new foods to try! The cubana blew my mind.

Excellent experience and choice of food. The food looked so scrumptious I devoured it! I forgot to take photos but worth stopping by when you are visiting the Capital.

This used to be my go-to stop in Olympia because the arepas were delicious but this time was a big miss, not sure what has changed on their end. The arepa was super thick and not fully cooked through, the beans were overly salty and some were still hard, the plantains were also not fully ripe and properly caramelized. Sad to say this will be my last time here.

My first time here and arepas. I had the carne and Cubano. Both were amazing. I’m glad I pulled off the highway and couldn’t find jj’s.

Love this place!! The food is amazing and they're always fast. The tajadas are amazing. My only complaint is that they don't sell arepas on their own. I'd be eating them all the time!

Delicious food in a nice food truck spot in downtown Olympia. The ropas and sweet fried plaintains were absolutely delicious. We went mid-day and there was easy parking, available picnic table seating, and a bathroom.

Taking that first bite of carne arepa was like tasting nostalgia for my childhood in Venezuela. And the yuca fries! Definitely will be returning.
