My husband and I went to this beautiful cafe to have breakfast. The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious! and the tea is delicious! The atmosphere is very pleasant. I spent a very pleasant moment with my husband. We have been to many restaurants for breakfast and none of us like it as much as this one! We will definitely go back! I was looking at the bad reviews where several people say that they are racist here but that is a lie! My husband, like me, are Latinos and from the moment we entered they gave us a warm welcome and made us feel very comfortable. It is worth mentioning that the owner is the most beautiful and pleasant person I have ever met.

I hate to review this place because I don't want it to get any more busier. What a great little hideout of a cafe. Owner came to our table and couldn't be nicer. The waiter was also very nice and personable. Great food at a great price. Parking sucks but not their fault. Would give 6 stars for service if I could

This was our second time dining at this cafe and the dishes and lattes are always delicious. They have a selection of salsa picante at the back to choose from. Fresh ingredients make the wait all worth it. I ordered the breakfast sandwich both times here and a latte with almond milk. Thumbs up all around! Stop by if you're in Olympia!

When first heading to the restaurant, we thought we were heading the wrong way since we were driving through a bunch of residential neighborhoods, but then we came to realize this restaurant is hidden away, nestled in a residential neighborhood. The "house" look of this restaurant ends as soon as you walk in. Inside, the restaurant was well decorated with many plants everywhere. And it was very busy! Despite being very busy, the waitress kept coming by to check on us and seemed to always know when we needed something. We sat at the bar area which was, in my opinion, the best seats in the restaurant since it gives you a view of the cooks, hard at work. I got the scramble with breakfast potatoes. This restaurant has the best breakfast potatoes I've tried so far. It was very soft on the inside, but not dry, and still perfectly crispy!! The Scramble itself was full of lots of different ingredients, which made for a tasty scrambled dish.

Fantiastic food! Like really, really good. And the owner comes to your table. She directed our kids to some board games which they had a lot of fun with, and had some great suggestions for our tastebuds. Both the eggs Benedict and veggie omelet were exceptional! Worth the wait for great food and down home atmosphere.

BITS Cafe is a gem! The atmosphere is welcoming, cleanliness is top-notch, and the breakfast is fantastic. The breakfast sandwich of the day was stellar!! Also - the breakfast tea was a delightful complement, and the service is exceptional. Everything here is simply excellent - highly recommended!

Great little neighborhood breakfast spot. I ordered the scramble and subbed the “sunshine salad” for the potatoes. It was delightful! The purple cabbage in the scramble was an especially welcome treat. The atmosphere also had a nice vibe. As for the coffee… above average for sure! We’ll definitely be visiting this little gem again!

Went for the first time this past week. The menu is limited but our food was good! Loved the peach mimosa. Staff was very friendly. Parking was a little difficult as it is limited as well. I will say, after reading some of the reviews and response from the business calling the individuals who left the review brats and other names... I will reconsider coming here again. You can defend yourself and your business without the name calling and belitting.

My favorite breakfast spot in town. Small menu, high quality ingredients, & stellar service every visit. Typically a long wait. No kids menu, but they are very kid-friendly

I am in love with this little spot. The food is amazing... even a perfectly poached egg! Show up early for the eggs Benedict (only on weekends). Good coffee, fresh sweets on the counter and even a couple comfy couches to relax in. Cozy and warm, excellent wait staff. Do yourself a solid and go check it out!

Note: they do not serve Eggs Benedict or Breakfast Burritos during the week. There are tons of pictures of the Benedict on-line, so if you're like us and drive out of your way to visit BITS - just know. My daughter and I liked our breakfast sandwiches - she had egg and bacon. I had egg & avocado. The muffins they use for the sandwiches are delicious. The accompanying home fries were very good - crisp and not greasy. My son didn't like his Scramble though - he said the broccoli was mushy and that there were too many ingredients in not enough egg. Also, the coffee was quite acidic. Friendly staff. It was a pleasant environment - quiet during our visit. Points for offering mushroom coffee and nice vegan/veggie options.

BITS Cafe is one of our very favorite brunch spots in Olympia (the salmon Benedict is absolutely amazing...well, everything is amazing!), so when it came time to select a venue for our first "OlyVersary", we asked owner Tora if she could host the event for us and our friends. Fortunately, she said yes! Tora's background in event planning and cooking showed as she quickly gathered what she needed to know about our budget, desired menu, and even music choices and ran with it. About 25 of us got together at the restaurant, and everything was perfect! The food was great, and the restaurant is such a warm, relaxing space for entertaining--and folks were able to have conversations throughout the whole place. Thanks to Tora's efforts and attention to detail, all we had to do was show up and enjoy time with our friends! I highly, highly recommend BITS Cafe for your next get-together. It was amazing! Thanks, Tora!

The crew looked like they were enjoying what they did, which is probably why it tasted like it was made with love. I loved the breakfast plate, the tea, and the amazing service with great music. I wish I got the name of my server because she was so kind and sweet (short pixie kind of hair.

First time here but definitely not going to be the last. Best classic breakfast I have had in a very very long time! Very friendly/ cozy atmosphere. And best of all they actually know how to cook an egg over medium.

I have been coming here since they opened, and every experience has been nothing short of fantastic! My son and I come by a lot just for a quick bite, or a smoothie (we LOVE the smoothies and bagels (especially with salmon!)) on our walks. The staff has always been great, especially the owner--she is awesome, and always make sure everyone is enjoying their stop! The food is delicious, it just is! Tons of options, and the menu is always growing. I love how much this place has become a part of the community. I can't wait to see what they do next :)

Fantastic staff! Good food, cozy and casual vibe. The 2 waitresses we interacted with were personable, funny, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Our group has a toddler that has multiple food allergies. The waitress worked with the kitchen to make sure he could have a meal too!

I’ve waited a long time to post a review (too long) because I didn’t know how to put my love of all things Bits into words that did it justice. The food: I have never had something here that didn’t give me a full on mouth-gasm. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the flavors are always on point. ALWAYS try the specials, but the everyday menu is just as amazing, not to mention the variety of delicious (and healthy!) smoothies they have. They also make the absolute best almond milk flat white I’ve ever had. The environment: The atmosphere here is so serene and cozy, from the decor to the music it’s a wonderful place to sip coffee, chat and play games. It’s adorable and classy and so well done. I also love sitting at the counter watching the absolute BEASTS in the kitchen work their magic. The staff: I have nothing but good things to say about every person I’ve interacted with here. Everyone is genuine and kind, the owner is so sweet and our regular server Olivia is incredible. She remembered my husband and I by our second or third visit (including our orders) and makes us feel so welcome every. single. time. Again, I can’t say enough about how much I love this place. Support local woman owned businesses like this, the world needs it!

Great, friendly service, & delicious food. Next time I'm trying a smoothie, they look amazing! Only downsides are limited seating and a single bathroom. But that all seemed to work fine while we were there. It was busy but the flow was great and everyone there was happy with service and food. Definitely a new fav spot.

What a wonderful experience! Tora was quick to welcome us and made us feel right at home. The waitstaff was friendly, professional, and prompt. So what about the food? Well, I'm glad you asked. The cooks clearly take pride in what they are serving. My husband and I both had the classic breakfast; with the addition of sauteed vegetables to my plate. The food was a visual delight and everything was cooked to perfection. The bacon was crisp, but not overdone. The sourdough was just as one would hope and the raspberry jam was dreamy! The veggies were a colorful and tasty mix of onion, purple cabbage, broccoli and carrots. My husband had gluten free bread and he even asked for a second helping. I have never seen him do that with gluten free bread. Even my over hard eggs, which no one EVER gets right were up to my slightly picky standards. And the potatoes. Oh the potatoes. Golden little cubes of happiness. Finally, the pot of Earl Grey brewed loose leaf was the perfect beverage to add comfort to an already phenomenal meal. This was our first time at BITs an it was hands down the best breakfast we have ever had in a restaurant. Additionally, the fact that we felt seen and cared about; makes this a truly special gathering place in our community. Thank you Tora! You and your staff are doing an excellent job!

Excellent breakfast food, best Benedict, yum! Cozy, yet open, atmosphere, on the west slope across the bay from downtown. Takes some time to get your food, but because of the care they put into creating such scrumptious entrees. We'll definitely be back!!

This is an excellent diner and you get what you pay for. The coffee is delicious and bottomless. The menu is simple. Prices are high and you'll probably be waiting on the weekend. I enjoyed it enough to return, for sure.

Straight up one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had… the staff was attentive and accommodating and the food was delicious. 10/10 would recommend. BITS stands for Breakfast Is Truly Scrumptious.

Cozy little eatery with bar and table seating, came in once just to try it and it was so incredible that I had to come back the next weekend to get it again. The espresso served is amazing, and the smoked salmon benedict with chive cream cheese is my new favorite meal in Olympia. Highly, highly recommend you try this place at least once!

Bits is such a wonderful place for brunch, lunch, and tea. Their decor is so fresh and comfortable with all of their plants. Their couches are comfy for tea or coffee if you want to work or read. They make a great London Fog and Chai. But what really makes this a fantastic brunch choice is how wonderful the staff is and how clean the food is. All their dishes are made with fresh ingredients and their specials every weekend are delicious. They are always trying new things that don't make me feel sluggish or greasy after eating them. I feel so comfortable eating here because the staff always takes care of me so well. They are attentive and accommodating and friendly. It feels homey with the the owner working alongside everyone else and talking to the guests. This is a true neighborhood restaurant that I feel so lucky to have near me. I would recommend eating here to anyone in the Olympia area or visiting. Favorite dish: Bacon and avocado eggs benedict Favorite drink: Chai

BITS is my favorite part of every weekend!! From the moment my husband and I walked in we felt connected to and welcomed by all the staff as if we were a part of the family. We have continued to come to BITS weekly for months and everything is spectacular. From the drip coffee/espresso, to the specials/standing menu, to the cocktails and everything in between - this food and the team at BITS are an absolute joy! I am typically an early morning BITS gal and be aware you will mostly likely have a bit of a wait on weekend mid/late mornings. Rest assured the wait is ABSOLUTELY worth it and for good reason. Do yourself a favor and get yourself some BITS ASAP!
