We have been longtime fans of Dingey’s-they are THE place in the Olympia Farmer’s market to get your breakfast. My favorite is the Maple Salmon Benedict (which is PERFECTION-the maple doesn’t overpower the salmon) that comes with the side of potatoes. We are also partial to their chowder and their fish and chips! Their staff is friendly and professional, and their stand is very lively with crab 🦀 decorations. They provide condiments and beverages as well. Check them out! Addition from July 8th, 2023: Their maple salmon Benedict is still one of the best foods at the market and is my go to. Their clam strips and fries are also a classic.

We were visiting Olympia on Friday and arrived at the Farmer’s Market at 1:30 pm. It’s great that there was free parking. This farmers market closes at 3 pm. We ate at Dingey’s and had a little time to go buy items. The food was fresh tasting especially the fish and oysters. The French fries are crispy.

I am a little suprised that the reviews are so good for this eatery. It is not bad by any means, but in an area with tons of fresh good seafood, it also is not the top of the list either. What this place does have is a good location. As part of our outdoor Farmer's Market in the area, it is a hot food option while visiting the market. I ordered the prawn basket and it was just ok. If I were to return again I think I would try the crab cakes. Just a so so place.

Fish was a bit soggy, but flavorful. Chips were crispy. Price was a bit high, but I would order again.

Fair prices, very friendly staff, and delicious food. Haven’t had a thing on the menu that I didn’t like. Fantastic fish and chips, and great clam chowder. I love the Rockfish and chips, absolutely delicious! Best seafood in town! Highly recommend!

GET THE MAPLE CURED SALMON EGGS BENEDICT. That is all. You can tell there is thought and care behind the dishes and prep, best home fries (perfect potato pillows?) Were everything, but I could barely fit them in because the benedict was too good to not finish. Also I am still thinking about that hollandaise 🤤. Also the strawberry lemonade was FRESH 🍓🍋 My wife had the fried oyster omelet and was super happy too. Thank you for the kind and quick service, area is small so be sure to grab a seat or be down to share you table and make some new friends 😀

Ate here for the first time with my mom. We ordered the Candied Salmon Eggs Benedict and the Fish and Chips. I would say the food was average and the service.. The eggs were cooked all the way through and it was served with coleslaw instead of breakfast potatoes. The hollandaise sauce tasted good. Personally, I don’t think the coleslaw paired well with the Eggs Benedict and it didn’t fill me up. I would’ve preferred breakfast potatoes The fish and chips was average, fries were great, seasoned well and crispy. Decent pricing for both meals, but I probably wouldn’t order either of those again. I wouldn’t mind trying a few other items before a make my final judgement. Will update once I do.

Great location, and tasty food! Easy outdoor dining/ordering + there's other great food options just steps away. I'll absolutely be back anytime I go to the Olympia farmers market.

Great food! This is always my sons choice for food at the market. Today, I decided to join him. I had the prawns. they were a good size and excellently prepared. Highly recommended.

crab melt was basically a grilled cheese on white bread with very minimal crab meat and some green onions; comes with tiny portion cup of coleslaw, no other side option offered... $16 with tax and card fees 🤦‍♀️ half my sandwich wasnt even warmed up. disappointing.

While out shopping with some friends, we decided to stop and get some food at the farmer’s market. I felt like seafood and got the Tuna steak with coleslaw. Tasty, filling, and fresh!! Service was fast and friendly. Excited to try more items from their menu.

Best fish and chips I have ever eaten. Fried clans were also very good.

Wow. Sad excuse for an eggs Benedict. $18 after tax & credit card fee, you get 1 (halved) basic English muffin from the grocery store, 2 overcooked (non runny) eggs, unremarkable hollandaise sauce, decent ham that was ruined by tasting like the old oil on the grill, + a small scoop of incredibly blande coleslaw.

This is my go-to spot for breakfast. The maple cured salmon benedict is a game changer. I usually get a half order with a side of potatoes and it has consistently made me question all breakfasts that I’ve had thus far. The hollandaise sauce is made so perfectly that I half expect the cook to have a tiny French mouse hidden under his hat. The creamy clam chowder is also amazing. I usually grab a breadstick from a bakery at the market and with their powers combined, I am Captain Happy Belly.

This place is always gonna be the best. Especially the chowder is homemade which makes it really flavorful. Everything it has its unique flavors. And the staff is great.

Dingey's is hands down the best place for food in the market. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but you are missing out if you don't try the eggs benedict at least once. The crab version was replaced by a maple cured salmon version which is also delicious. We also love their New England clam chowder - super creamy and full of clams.
