Rustic atmosphere, amazing food, satisfying service and a fantastically crafted drink menu. Don't let the outdoor atmosphere fool you, nor the parking lot when you pull in, this is one of the top three restaraunts I've ever dined at in Thurston County. 300% sure we'll be back.

Jean-Pierre’s Three16 offers an outstanding fine dining experience. We ordered Escargot and it was fantastic! My date ordered the Blackened Ribeye and the meat was cooked to perfection with Horseradish, Mozzarella Mashed Potato, and Green Beans. We came here to get the Juniper Lamb Chops and they were decadent! We also had an Aviation (Violet Cocktail), Espresso Martini, and an Old Fashioned. Skyeler the bartender was amazing! Expect to spend around $100 per person if you are eating and drinking. We will come here again. Thank you!

My favorite restaurant in ALL of Washington!!! When I first came here, I was like, is this the wrong address? It's a house. And, it is!!! It's an experience! They welcome you into their home which by the way, is so intimate with modern rustic decorations. I love the ambience and the vibe! Dim, candles, music that isn't too loud or soft. This is a family owned restaurant and I love Kerri and Sky who will attentively serve you along with some great conversations! And omg.... let's talk about the food. I wish I could give it a million stars. Super fresh, huge portions, seasoned to perfection! Never had a bad experience at all! I'm super picky so I was hesitant... mushrooms and bacon jam?? So glad I tried it because.... literally... life changing. My FAVORITE appetizer is the Dungeness crab dip. I could eat it EVERY day! Their steaks are out of this world. Who needs a steak knife, it's super tender. You could use a butter knife!!! Their seafood pasta is amazing! Never had the chance to eat dessert since the food is so hearty BUT I've seen people just come here JUST for dessert so... one of these days, I will have to replace my appetizer for dessert. Last but not least, they have an awesome bar and make the best drinks!!! So creative and they don't play around! You MUST absolutely try this restaurant out at least once! It will not disappoint!

My friends, Tracy and Michael, took me there for dinner as a birthday gift. Place was awesome! Beautiful place for any kind of get together, family, friends or just yourself. Food was awesome, well presented, good size portions for decent prices. Staff was wonderful, polite, friendly and made you feel like family. The owners are great people and have worked hard on making this place worth visiting. Place is clean, well kept, you can eat outside when weather permits. Parking available and is easy to find. They also follow Covid-19 protocols. Really recommend trying this place out and you will not regret it. AWESOME job to the friendly staff. Thanks again.

The best meal we have ever had. From the appetizer to the dessert it just got better and better. Crab cakes, salmon, lamb chops, peanut butter torte and blueberry lemon creme brulee.

What a lovely, beautiful, and charming restaurant. You would never really realize it from the outside. They have made it so comfortable and cozy for you. Your dishes are absolutely beautifully displayed. The food is scrumptious! They are very generous with their servings. I really appreciate that they spaced your food, so you can take your time with your appetizers, salads, and entree. Nicole was so kind. She made a special non-alcoholic beverage for us. We definitely had leftovers! We shared the bacon wrapped dates. What a terrific bite! My husband dove into his stuffed mushrooms. Our wedge and Ceasar salads were so tasty. My filet 316 with crab cakes were divine. My daughter loved her delicious bacon jam filet. My husband's 46oz smoked cowboy steak was the best he has ever had. Perfectly cooked!. I would highly recommend this little gem in Tumwater Wa.

02/24/2024: We were able to secure a last minute reservation for dinner. The menu looked amazing and was such a difficult decision. We decided on the escargot, mushroom soup, seafood pasta, and blackened rib eye. Overall everything was delicious, Kerri is a wonderful host and we had a very enjoyable experience. I love restaurants that occupy old homes. It feels so cozy and the decor is very warm. Serving size is large. Dishes were very flavorful but also very heavy and rich. That mushroom soup was heavenly. Seafood pasta featured in house made pappardelle, which was cooked perfectly, as well as an assortment of seafood. Although the rib eye cut was not the best, it was cooked perfectly as were the green beans (bright green and a crisp bite). We were so full we couldn't even get dessert. We look forward to going back to try the other items on the menu.

We wanted to go here for valentines, but they were booked .. no worries, I was late in trying to get a reservation :) But we did have another date later in the week here at Three16 and were very impressed. Cozy and intimate atmosphere, Competative pricing, the food was prepared amazingly, so delicious, and the service was 1st class. You can definitely feel the love and passion that goes into the restaurant as a whole. The entire experience was memorable and lasting.

Firstly, I'm definitely coming back and if y'all are interested reserve a spot for the Library(w/ Kerri)! The Escargot is to die for! I got the juniper lamb chops which were marinated for 3 days... the bacon wrapped dates were heavenly and the perfect blend of flavors! Finished off with an espressos torte along with espresso martini. The atmosphere is great! This is definitely more of a date spot but if you're like me and just enjoy fine foods and comfortable going by yourself I highly recommend this place! They have a great wine selection and Kerri would be more than happy to throw you pairing suggestions!

The food was amazing. The atmosphere was laid back. Service was casual, friendly and attentive. Can I mention again that the food was amazing? Good wine list and reasonably priced. Probably one of the more expensive restaurants in Olympia, but definitely the finest, IMHO.

Jean Pierre restaurant is an ideal choice for a romantic evening, anniversary dinner, or any special event. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant are stunning, and it gives off a vintage Louisiana vibe. If you're looking for a delicious appetizer, you should try the bacon-wrapped dates. The perfect infusion of date goat cheese wrapped in bacon and perfectly grilled is an incredible treat to your taste buds. For the main course, the Thermador cowboy steak is a must-try. The steak is massive and perfectly grilled to precision, topped with shrimp, scallops, and lobster, making it a delightful dish to savor. For dessert, we suggest sharing the chocolate tort, which has a hint of habanero, caramel, and pecans. It is a scrumptious dessert that you will definitely enjoy. Moreover, Jean Pierre's customer service is unmatched. The staff makes you feel like family, and the chef might even come out and say hello to you. If you're looking for a great dining experience that you'll remember for a long time, we highly recommend John Pierre's restaurant in Tumwater. By the way, if you require vegetarian or vegan options, you can let Kerri know when making your reservation. They are very accommodating and would be more than happy to cater to your needs.

Like another review we just read the food was excellent, however on our anniversary and at this restaurant we were expecting much better service. We were seated in the room that the bar is located and at first that seemed intimate. That didn’t last to long. We ordered a drink, wine and appetizer along with our entree. My wife reminded our waitress that a couple had come in behind us and she went out to seat them. She returns and pours my wife her wine and makes me the wrong drink while telling us that it is a nice part of the restaurant except that she hasn’t been able to get the music/sound to work in the room. My wife and I start a conversation when another person goes behind the bar and starts the dishwasher! Didn’t last to long but that was just the beginning of an evening of plates not removed before food arrived. wine glasses empty, Dessert ordered and much later told not ready then another ordered and later served without coffee that had been ordered at the same time…You need a dedicated bartender, another server!!

Best prepared food we have eaten in several years. Tumwater’s hidden, busy gem. The Brulee’d Cheese appetizer was sublime. The Beef Bourguignon with hand made pasta was also a wonderful creation. First time guest, but will return again soon.

This was a wonderfully romantic meal with some of the most delicious food I've had in a long time; from the appetizers to the main course, all the way through to the dessert! The seating was outdoors and although we had a little rain to contend with at the beginning, it ended with a beautiful evening. The staff quickly came out and helped my wife move at another table move under covered areas. Thank you to Jean-Pierre's for a wonderful evening with my wife on our anniversary!

What a homey, cozy, romantic little spot. Excellent service by Carrie. Can't believe this was our first time. The mushroom appetizer was absolutely incredible. Jammy, rich, with the crunch of pecans and the tang of bleu cheese. Outstanding. The ribeye was crusted to perfection, on 10/10 mashed potatoes and a lovely variety of veggies on the side. The filet was tender and wonderful as well. And a perfect creme brulee to finish. What a wonderful experience.

Grabbed takeout from here and the food was great, portions are generous. We got a wedge salad (awesome), bacon wrapped dates (best I have had), stuffed mushrooms (very good, just a hint of spice mushrooms not soggy/mushy), and the grilled ribeye (perfect). This place is an absolute gem. Only downside was ordering, they need to put a number for the front of the house on their website, I called the number on the website got a text ordered from that number which apparently goes to another person who put in the order for me. The process went very well thanks to the restaurants amazing staff, but still a little disconcerting. Definitely will be back here next time I am in Olympia.

The food is INCREDIBLE. Great place for a fancy night out and a treat. The filet is amazing, especially the jam topping, wow. The mashed potatoes were even incredible. My husband had the blackened rib eye, which was also amazing. Get the torte to share, it is scrumptious and dense and huge! We had a party of 6 and were seated in our own private room which was nice, but quite cold for a little bit.

Thought I had to be in a big city to get quality food like this! Star struck by the atmosphere at first but the food took the win in the end. Definitely would recommend to anybody that likes high quality food!

Love this restaurant! The food has always been excellent; just this time, our service was super slow. It took us over 2.5 hours to finish. I gave a good tip because of the food but if it happens again, the tip will reflex the service. We were late for our evening plans.

The atmosphere was welcoming. There is much to enjoy and look at as we dined out in the patio. Sky was our waitress, she treated us like friends. The Salmon and Prawns melted in my mouth and bursted with flavors. My mom said The Halibut with mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts complimented each other beautifully. Don't be fooled by the descriptions on the menu the chef is an artist!! You'll want to come back to enjoy the delicious food.
