Non-smoking Casino with closed, supervised smoking sections outside to allow easy reentry access. Floor servers are friendly and will try their best to deliver your drink even when constantly switching machines! Food cafeteria prices seemed overly priced even for being at a casino, but with how good my burger and fries were, couldn't complain much! Restrooms were very nice looking. From what I experienced they were well maintained, kept clean, and very accessible from wherever you were in the building.

Go to lucky eagle no joke I think red wind sucks now! Trying to get back COVID money I suppose but every time we go we don’t even get free spins! Lucky Eagle is worth the extra drive. Their machine play back and sometimes pay well but they at least play. Still suck went again and sucked. Food is great

I decided to give this place one more chance. I used to enjoy this casino because of the decent-sized non-smoking area. Ever since they flip-flopped the smoking and non-smoking areas it hasn't been the same. Not only could I smell smoke throughout the non-smoking area (something that never happened with the old layout) I even got the whiff of Marijuana a couple times. Combine this with the fact that food options are more limited now, including eliminating the buffet, and the fact that there is no parking adjacent to the non-smoking area, I feel that this casino is no longer worth the drive.

I love this casino! I went to the roulette table and the dealers were very helpful. Moreover, as I was winning, I partook an intellectual parlance with a dealer. The dealer is intellectual and I enjoyed his company. I tipped him $15 before leaving the casino with more money that I entered. I will go back again. I enjoyed my time there.

All video machines now. The really dumb ones. Some of the old games still remain, but I went through $300 in 2 hours. Played over 2 dozen machines. Extremely tight. Waitresses are non-existent. Ventilation is also non-existent. Smoking section is just as bad as Lucky Eagle. 🤮

The casino itself is clean and it's has a lot of nice machines, new and old ones. We had a bad experience with the casino staff. Me and my family went in for about 2 hours just to sit and play while we were walking as a group and waitress comes up to us and ask if we would like to get a drink, and we said sure why not. But then decided to go inside the bar instead and apologized. As soon as we arrived to the bar not even 1 minute after, the waitress was already there, and the bartender said we could not be served because we were intoxicated. We were asking for a Virgin margarita for my husband's grandma, mind you, she like 70. She does not even drink, but even though they said they could not serve anything at all. I was like I'm sorry, but we are not intoxicated, and she does not even drink." We thought it was funny so we didn't really think anything about it and we said it's fine not to worry about it. So we just went to get her coffee. She drank her coffee, and we were heading out. No one told us we couldn't stay inside. While we were exiting a security approached my husband and his uncle said that if they left, the police would come to get them because it was their policy. Neither of them spoke English, so they didn't know what was going on. So I was trying to explain to security that my husband was not intoxicated nor grandma, but they continue to pretty much say the same thing. I asked them for them to Check the cameras, but they declined they said they did not have access , but they were sure everyone was intoxicated and they didn't let us leave nor go back inside. My husband asked Me to translate that it was their policy we don't mind if they don't want to let us leave, so he said to have them call a taxi. So we asked for a taxi and they said they could not call. Our phones were dead, and we were stuck outside the casino, not able to get in or out. And I said, "You know, just call the police if that's what you need to do." They were really racist and seemed to be judging just by the looks. We got home safe, thankfully. But this was a really bad experience for us. Never has this happend to us at any casino, and we've been to many.

It's a nice place. They have a smoke-free section, but the best slots are in the smoking section from what I hear. I've played in both sections and haven't won anything.

My wife and I visited Red Wind the week of July 4th. Had an awesome time with some good, and bad days, but won enough to keep playing. Good cheeseburgers. The Casino looks great now that it's completely finished. Last year they were still working on it. Great place.

Lots of nifty over fifty fun & freebies every Monday for the over 50 crowd. Never seen so many walkers and chain smoking old ladies ever. Lol just kidding but it was packed. I heard numerous names called out over the winners intercom. These individuals so n $500 each in free play money. I never however. Sad. But Exciting commotion todau.ovrr all. Crowded but comfortable . Old people everyewhere. Even a drawing for a NEW PICK UP! I LOST. ..not one penny won. But i enjiyed the evening. I'm going back next week. I'll win.

Love their deli restaurant. Very good chicken fried steak and eggs. Casino is clean. Constant cleaning of machines and bathrooms. They changed the smoking section to non and vice versa. Gaming area is nice

Smoke-free area for those of us that don't Smoke or want to smell like we do. Excellent place to mingle with the rich and famous or ones that have time and money to donate and try their skills at getting some of the house money 💰 for a change. Excellent service provided by the employees. There are plenty of free drinks and smiles. So,if you're feeling bored and want to feel wanted, try this location.

I give this casino 4.5 stars. This was our first time coming here. I have to say, it surprised me. The gaming floor has so many different slot games, including some older versions you hardly see nowadays. I was satisfied with the choices of table games as well. We ate at the deli. The deli is pretty spacious. It was kind of slow getting our food cause they only had one register open, but probably coulda been short staffed. My lady got one of their salads, and I got the red wind burger. Omg....now that's a burger. The staff was nice as well also, it was interesting that the players club also did cash outs as well as doing club cards. The drink stations had a good selection of drinks. They also had a cappuccino dispenser at the stations, and they were really good. They had regular, French vanilla, and white chocolate Carmel. Mmmmm all 3 were bomb! Overall, we liked this casino and the vibes. We definitely plan to visit again, and also to try the other foods :)

Red wind payout ratios have changed more to the benefit of the casino. Machines aren't even hitting enough to stretch out your play time. Have been told that players who get the specialty event invites, are randomly selected. 3 of my co-workers get invites every time and I have yet to get any even though I have played at Red Wind for over 4yrs. Doesn't seem random to me.

We love to play here. There are lots of choices for food. There is a steakhouse/seafood restaurant, and deli. We have eaten at all of them and never had a meal we didn't like. Use your players card and get half off in all the restaurants.

Nice clean casino. With the addition of all the new slots, the likelihood of winning even a small amount has gone way down. So now, the minimum bets are higher and winnings are way lower. I know it makes the owners richer, but it doesn't put any extra money into the pockets of customers. If owners are going to make more money, please put some higher-end eateries in, so we can at least eat better.

We really like it here. Food is inexpensive and pretty good. Breakfast is my favorite there. Not small, but not so big that it's overwhelming. Staff is kind and overall cleanliness is great. Little by little they keep upgrading the place making it better than the last time I would've been in.

More jackpot winners than any other Casino. So much they announce every time they have a winner. Great food. Smoking and non-smoking section. Great variety of slots and table games only downfall is that they are not open 24 hours as a casino should be. So hopefully they change that in the very near future.

Fun environment, with machines that aren't afraid to pay out some big bucks!!! The staff there are all really nice and fast on the feet to offer you whatever your heart desires!! I'm "betting" you won't find anywhere else to have an exciting and comfortable place to play all types of machines, cards or just go and enjoy some awesome food at a very reasonable ad affordable price. The staff at the entrance where you give your. I? D. Were awesome, you know, friendly, you know fun fun to talk to you? I just wish mostly that I know it's a smoking casino. But I wish that the fan's would work better so you didn't really have to smell it cause. It's smells really horrific sometimes depending on the time of day. You go and as many people that go there but it is a good little casino for a small little town. They have a lot of games and a lot of different options to play table games and video games. And stuff like that the food is good there. I like to eat buffe and didn't have any issues with parking. I was able to find a parking spot easy. Nobody dinged my car door or anything like that ether so that's a positive. I didn't win this time , I'll go back again.

I've been going there for over 20 years. The food is great, it's clean, people are great... I've never got a jackpot, never. However, I see the same people over and over get jackpots???? I know it's random? It is very difficult to enjoy time with your spouse knowingly. Based on the past, it's not fun to lose over and over... we live in Yelm, it's our home area casino. But if we want to go have fun and win... we go to Lucky Eagle, or Emerald queen... Im sorry, Red wind... That's my honest review... you can check players' status. I love the food here. If you use your players' card, you can use your points toward anything you want to eat for half price. I would say winning is like any other casino. The odds are not in our favor (our referring to the players), but you still get lucky from time to time.

Would have done 5 stars, but they kept my 'play' money!! The only real complaint is the smoking section seems to allow the smells into the non-smoking area. The food is very good, and it is always a nice time! Just have to go chase my losses!!

I had way to many 1 dollar bills in my pocket and my back was beginning to hurt because of it. This place was so helpful getting rid of them - and they went above and beyond. As it turns out a bunch of 20's were making my wallet to big too so they fixed that! Less than my chiropractor and way better food and parking.

Love Red Wind!! Never had any issues with staff. They have always been kind and inviting. I haven't gotten a big win here yet, which is a bit disheartening, but I still like to come. The rewards are not bad, not as good as some but not bad. I enjoy the drive from I-5, it's beautiful scenery and they allow semi trucks with no trailers to park on the property in a special area which, surprisingly isn't too far from the door. Thank you for that!! Emerald Queen Casino will throw a fit if they see a truck on their property, even if it's only taking up 2 spots, and make you move immediately. Red Winds customer service is outstanding and have a beautiful facility. Will definitely be back again and again, hoping to finally hit my big one with them!

First of all, keep in mind we're far from Vegas, and making comparisons based on their casinos is somewhat unfair. The main issue I have with this casino is the lack of dining options. There's only a fine dining restaurant or the deli. The deli is fine, but it's always dirty! Wish they kept the buffet or sports bar. Another change is the flip of the smoking and nonsmoking section. Which, personally, I feel was a bad decision. It makes the smoking area feel stuffy and cramped. I do appreciate the Nisqually Elder and Military parking area. They also have some good free play promotions (weekly free play and military appreciation Sundays).

Alway a fun place to go. We go there every couple of weeks. But the free play is a joke. One month it's high and one month it's low. Even if you spend the same every time you go. To me that seems rigged. But over all I love this place.

We had a wonderful meal at the nice dining restaurant that features the fireplace and wine list and lovely French press coffee. The food was great but what made the experience 5 star was our wonderful waitress whose name I, unfortunately, didn't get. She was amazing and I hope management and she get to read this because she really was so helpful, professional, kind and accommodating! I had a wonderful French press experience and my husband had 2 glasses of wine. Thank you Red Wind and our amazing server! A great meal!

I love casinos and I love Nisqually Red Wind! It seems like the likelihood of jackpots and good payouts are much more likely here for some reason... (Probably because there isn't any current construction they've gotta pay for) *cough cough* Would be 5 starts if they didn't change how the smoking and non smoking was set up. The bigger rooms should always be the smoking area but that's just my option.

I don't often come out ahead at the slots, but I have only good things to say about the bartenders. They know who to cut off vs who to free pour with a smile. A friendly word before ordering can go a long way. Do ask which spirits are free pour. Some are about the same cost per shot as the drinks from the tightly measured gun. I prefer the bar in the high limit room, which used to be the show room. Also, unlike some casino floors, the cocktail waitresses make rounds frequently. My wife bets big and has a very nice host who'll come by her machine and chat it up and pay for our dinner. The River Water grill has very good steaks and seafood and service. Check hours beforehand. The Deli is alright but has long hours. Free valet is right outside the large nonsmoking side of the casino. Parking garage leads into the smoking side. No hotel at this casino.

I've been here several times. Food in steakhouse was good. Bartenders are gr8! I've never won when we play there. Overall for alot of people love it. I personally do not like the vibe in there. Always feel off and want to leave.

Great place to go for fun! I can actually honestly say that I win here more than any other casino. And the players club is pretty good too. When you play with your players club card, you earn points allot quicker than you do at other casinos. You get allot more possibilities with your earned points than any other casino offers as well. They have allot of different slots and rarely do you have to wait to play one. 5 stars!

It's a casino so win or loose you can't judge the establishment depending on the financial outcome of your visit. That said I've won my first jackpot at this casino and I've lost my butt a time or two but at the end of the visit I've always felt satisfied with my entertainment. The casino is not the biggest or most extravagant but gives you that welcome feeling, it's not a 24hr place so check the hours before you plan your trip. The club card is worth getting and the deli has awesome food I always eat no matter what I'm going home with food from this place.

First casino experience for me. Not to bad....but having to walk through the smoking section....which seems so much bigger to get to the non smoking section of the casino sucked. Didn't win super big but hit a few good wins on a few games! Will definitely go again

It’s been awhile since I’ve been and it was refreshing to see so many games! There were new to me games which is cool. When we arrived in the late evening they were giving away 10K points to a reward member. I won and then lost my winnings but we had a good time trying. The only casino bar that I’ve been to that has Don Julio Tequila. I didn’t see any other bar but we didn’t wait long either. Not many ticket redemption kiosks around. The smoking section was pretty heavy with smoke haze but they do have a non smoking section!
