I can't believe I've only just recently discovered this gem of a park and I've lived in the Olympia area almost my whole life! There are picnic area, basket ball courts, tennis courts, a play ground, walking trails, and probably more that I didn't get to. Definitely taking my family here again!! Highly recommend visiting this park!

I came here to take my dog for a walk along with my sister and her dog. It’s really nice because they have a paved trail with a lot of beautiful trees and plenty of places to stop at admire the beauty. There is also a tennis court in a basketball court to play in as well.

Lovely wooded trails that get far enough away from parking lots and playgrounds to afford walkers a green quiet space. And at the time, not so far that there's a worry of being lost in the woods. Lots of parking, well-maintained playgrounds, benches, and tables, plus sports courts.

Wow! What a beautiful clean park. Nice walking trails, ball field and little play ground. Some nice size picnic areas too. Clean restrooms are always a plus and they were clean.

Wonderful park, I liked the paved walking trail it's 0.6 of a mile so it was easy to get in my steps. My child liked the playgroun and basketball court is located in the shade. There is a cute little toddler playground at the northwest side, the restrooms aren't open there though.

What a great size park with tons of open space and a little bit of everything for anyone! The trails are a little tricky because some of them spit you out in neighborhoods, so just be a little careful. But everyone is extremely nice on the trails, folks keep their dogs on the leashes, and it’s a grand time!

I love this park, it's a little hidden gem connected to a community and it has all the bells and whistles. Basketball and tennis courts, grills, gazebos, baseball field, trails, bathrooms... It has it all. I highly recommend this park to anyone who wants to get out and do something, no matter the age.

Wonderwood is a very nice activity park nestled in wooded surroundings. There's softball, tennis, basketball, children's play area, walking trails in the woods and some picnic areas. What makes Wonderwood special is that instead of all of these activities sharing a common cleared space, each has its own clearing in the beautiful woods.

Love this park. It's never too busy, has so much area to explore, is very well shaded so it stays cool during the summer, has a great selection of toys for kids of all sizes, and has bathrooms that are always clean. This park is great for a picnic with the family, birthdays, jogs, sports, just about anything you can think of. It's even got basket and tennis ball courts. I highly recommend a visit to this beautiful park.

The playground is even better! I took my kids a few years ago and the play area was underwhelming... but we went last week for a birthday party and it was great, bright colors and lots of things to do including music making structures. Big large wide grassy areas, wish there's a bit more parking but otherwise we will be back again.

Great park. There are little and big kid structures with lots of table areas. Kids loved the toys here.

It's a big beautiful park. Very well kept! Large playground and tennis courts. Also, I hear rumors that on Wednesdays, there is a larping ( Live Action Role playing) that happens! What more is there to say... Larping... Fun to say and fun to play!!!

Excellent trail design. Great for feeling like you're deep in the woods while being in town. Woodpeckers, and at least one hoot owl. Tons of spots to go off path with tons of forks so technically it's always a unique walk if you want. The off path places are great for less people. Outside of trails, the dog areas are giant but unfenced. There's also kids playground, sports stuff, etc.

Nice park! Accessible parking, nice wide paved trails, tennis and basketball courts. Lots of room for kids to run.

Wonderwood is one of the parks that is typically less busy. Nice trails to walk on, lots of greenery and "forest"..... Tennis courts. Basketball court. Baseball field. Covered picnic area with grills. The only reason I gave four stars is.... no swings if your kiddo is a swing kiddo. Otherwise the playground is very fun! More positives than negatives. Clean bathrooms as well.

Beautiful park that is eerily quiet! Great grass and trails. Would never guess you were in the middle of a neighborhood.

Play fields and trails. Benches and play equipment. Pack a lunch you could stay here awhile and really enjoy your time spent outdoors.

The only reason I gave it a four is because it didn't have swings and that disappointed my great granddaughter very much. Otherwise it's a beautiful playground.

Best part of the park are the tennis courts. No good place to walk or jog except behind some trees. Scared of people with dogs. If you play tennis, best to get there by 4pm weekdays or else people hog the courts for hours. Weekends you need to get there super early in the a.m. or no courts. Only 4 courts. Court conditions are great on warm days as 2 courts are shaded. No other courts in Lacey or vicinity have shaded courts. I give it 2 stars for lack of walkability unless you like walking on grass. Good things are no traffic area so no pollution.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ My neighbors were talking about this lake so I took my daughter it was nice to cool off. You can’t see the bottom of the lake when you’re swimming which freaks me out. There were bathrooms and grassy parts. No place for sand castles but the water was cool not freezing like the ocean though. There’s...
