Took kids there and they had so much fun fishing. There is a great playground too.

We love this park. It's a little further to drive for a park since we don't live in Lacey anymore but we love the playground and the walking trails. The bathrooms are well maintained and there is a disk golf course as well. Plenty of parking spaces and a great place to gather for all ages and enjoy a nice day or evening. If you like wildlife you can even walk the lake and take in a variety of animals!

Sweet little park. Water access for throwing rocks and fishing.... No swimming access. Trails for walking or riding bikes/scooters/skateboards. Fun playground. Clean bathrooms. Geese! Would be a lovely spot for photos. Great covered picnic areas.

Wonderful play area with some covered areas for larger groups ($50 reservation fee). The attached disk golf course is short but nice. The reason I docked it down to 4 stars is for the horrendous amount of Hornets. Made my 5 year old daughters birthday less fun.

It was very exciting my grandson is almost two and the slides and play equipment was perfect for his age. They also have more stuff for older kids. One thing I didn't like was that they have bark for the ground so my grandson got slivers in his hand I wish that they had foam padding. We even got to see the Canadian geese.

A great place to relax and unwind. If you're lucky you may just spot the white duck duo. My wife doesn't mind using the restroom here. The park is clean and not too busy. Bonus disc golf course that's actually pretty fun and challenging.

Happy to see there is also a disc golf course here. Decided to try a new playground and my kids had a blast. Definitely a park we will come back to!

This is my home course so if course I gotta shine some light on this little honey hole!! I absolutely love this course!! I've been playing on it for about 13 years now!! Since there were no tee pads, and tunnels of trees literally! This place has come so far from there! The tee pads are poured, nicely groomed with way more space, extra pads just pot in and everyone there is awesome and super friendly!!! If ever you are looking for a course and close to Lacey, Washington u should definitely stop and PLAY THIS COURSE!!! 10/10

My family has been coming to this community park for years. It's such a beautiful place where there's so much to do and enjoy. Best part is seeing others in the community enjoy the park as well! My daughter loves everything, mostly the water. 💦 Thank you!

*Disc golf course review* Beautiful 14 holes with a few extra practice baskets. It seems most just throw the front 9 twice rather than doing 10-14 twice like we prefer. Holes 10 and 11 are a bit easier to lose a disc if not careful but are the only long flicks or ani-backhands. Great mix of distances with holes as short as 250s and as long as 500+. Locked box for lost disc return gets used enough that I've had about 70% of my lost discs returned. If they could somehow put together a full 18 here it would be one of the best in the Pacific Northwest.

Glad to see the community loving this park! My family owned this property (~100 acres) back in the day and worked with the county to turn it into a park after my grandfather passed. Was honored to have the pond named after our family and happy to see it was put to good use ☺️

One of our favorite places to play disc golf. Course is pretty well maintained. The people who play are typically friendly. Easy course to follow. Technical holes. Good for the family.

This is a wonderful, entertaining, and relaxing park! Our family met here as the location was a halfway place between 2 locations of where our family members live. It was Memorial Day Monday. We went very early to save a spot and good for us but also a surprise, not a lot of people showed up. The playplace was great for our grandson. He had a blast. The pond had families fishing and playing with RC (remote control) boats! Other members of the family went and played disc golf. The course was a lot of fun and challenging. There are many picnic shelters and tables. The restrooms were close by and very clean. We look forward to going back!

Pros: great for family gatherings, things to do for all ages, bathrooms, open grass, lake, sidewalk for biking and walking, pet friendly, frisbee golf, places to sit, safe. Cons: Could be to open for losing sight of children

It's always nice to come here for a walk on the trails or around the lake. Two sets of bathrooms are available, disc golf course, as well as covered shelters and a playground.

I love bringing my little kids here while the big kids are away playing at school. Not the biggest playground or most updated structures, but beautiful scenery and plenty of space to get some fresh air.

Love this park, and all the walking options. You can stroll by the pond, or catch some steps in the Chehalis Western Trail. Best part, there are public bathrooms if you need one.

Normally I'm a big fan of this location being a disc golf player but on this visit I saw the orange paint of lines where they were going to be doing the maintenance and trimming back of bushes and trees and grass and such thought part of a tree that was sprayed I assume that meant it was going to be trimmed through 8 discs on the driving range before I realized that that spray paint had a tiny tiny tone underneath it with hardly even legible black marker and it said wasps so I have sacrificed my discs and some loner discs because I am highly allergic to wasps if I get within 2 ft of a cone before I can read it there is no way that any child is going to be able to read it and most parents aren't going to be able to read it I would highly recommend that park and Recreation services works on making signs like that more noticeable for the public for their own safety. And my photos here adjusting my reasoning I cannot make out the writing on that cone and there isn't you can barely see the cone from where you shoot the discs from from the LaunchPad

Great park. Has several covered areas with grills for cookouts as well as several uncovered areas to eat too. Huge park, walking trails, lake with fishing for youth and seniors as well as frisbee golf and a community center. Only downfall is the mass amounts of goose poop everywhere

Kids had a real good time. It was a public play area, so regular wear and tear to be expected. Everything was in service, including the restroom. The neighbors along with park employees kept up with the park areas and trash. It was an overall pleasant experience for both parent and child.

I play Disc Golf here. The course is really nice. Aside from that it also has a great hiking trail, playground, and big open areas yo lounge around for a picnic. Love this place.

This is a wonderful large park in a beautiful setting. Lots of walking trails, a nice playground for kids, and a 14-hole disc golf course that I’d like to come back and try! Also home to city of Lacey facilities like the Senior Center, Community Center, and “White House.” The only reason for not giving this park 5 stars is that there is a lot of goose and duck poop on the paths. This comes with the territory being next to a lovely pond, but can be a concern, especially for parents with small children.

This is a "hidden in plain sight" gem. The playground equipment is in great shape, the walking path is in clear sight of the playground equipment and goes right past a pond. Haven't had much experience with the community center, have had my son's first bday here and had a great time. The covered areas are good distance away from playground equipment so even though it's open it is "private" was $50 for 4 hours to rent the covered area. Fiarly reasonable this day and age!

Is a fairly open and straightforward park, it has a lot of really good walking trails. There is a disc golf course attached to it. Paved and unpaved trails. A beautiful pond, some playground equipment for the young ones. The only downside is limited pavilion space, limited access to barbecue grills. And at certain times in the year there is a goose feces problem.

👍👍 One of my favorite places to get away and drop a hook . Theres two other lakes connecting to the main lake. Oh yeah, and there's a family of beavers there as well.

😠 Nothing but bad dog owners who bring their untrained dogs off leash. Not the funnest place to run when dogs keep running up to you. Also no bathrooms, lack of tree overcast and a real trail other than a mowed stripe of land
