I used to LOVE this splash pad and park but the day this photo was taken there was a bizarre fight/altercation and about 3 (adult) people were bathing and washing their clothes (and shoes) in the water where all the children were playing. I don't know how I feel about that, but I have suggestions for the City: Clean up the damn park. Make it usable for tax paying citizens. Hire a guard or rent a cop to walk the grounds, fix the damn benches (seriously!) and keep the place tidy. I recognize we have a homelessness issue and a drug addiction issue, but letting this park go to the wayside is only going to make it worse.

Super fun place for kiddos to play! Love the Capitol building in the background! There’s lots of variety in the water splashing and even music/sounds off and on. Benches need some repairing but plenty of grass and shade to sit in... would be nice to have restrooms nearby but can find those at the Park a few blocks away.

Fun park in the summer. My daughter met some new friends and ran/played the whole time. Get some non slip shoes, she took a few spills but no permanent damage.

Benches and a fountain with children running through it. Just a peaceful and nicely landscaped place to stop by.

Fun place on a hot day. Where water socks/shoes as it gets slippery for bare feet.

I find that watching this fountain dance and watching the people play around it is a great way to clear my mind snd put me in a great mood. There have been times I have come here just to fo that.

What a great place to take in the view. The bay on one side and the lake with the capital on the other. Plenty of places to sit and short walk to downtown or cross the street and walk the boardwalk and enjoy the artwork and boats. Bring a towel so you can get alil wet.watch out for the jets that's some powerful water

We walked around the festival. We took our granddaughter and she rode rides and had a fun time. We all enjoyed the time in the fresh summer air. 👍🤟😎

We love this fountain/splash pad park. It's the best when it's warm & the kids love running around in the water & trying to guess where the water will shoot up next. It has a nice grassy area where you can lay a blanket & relax for a while or even have a picnic. There is some shade provided by some trees. The only issue is that it's right downtown & there are sometimes unsavory characters passing by. I've gotten used to that & have never had any incident, so it's just something to be aware of. It's a wonderful place for catching great photos opportunities!

This was the first splash pad we encountered years ago when it opened, and it's still one of our youngest son's favorites. Definitely lots of thought went into programming the different jet configurations so it's never boring.

Kids loved it. The water wasn't even really that cold. Only downside is that the tile/ stone they have is very slippery. My son actually slipped and fell right into his back and damn near hit his head 🙁

Great place to take the kids on a hot day. There are multiple shaded areas on the grass to have a picnic and the fountains provide a fun atmosphere that everyone will love.

Absolutely love this place but wish it was actually open till they say went down at 8 pm when it was still 90 degrees out and it was already off even though the website said it was on till 9:30.

The water feature is the centerpiece of this park. Definitely a place where children can cool off and have a great time. The park also has benches under rows of trees. There are some grassy spots under tree canopies if you prefer to be out of direct sunlight.

Bathrooms are horrid. Parking is a challenge depending on the time of the day.

A great water park. Only did 4 stars as there aren't benches close and besides the water streams out of the ground there is not a lot to offer. A fun option though and we picnic there. Last visit did carryout thai & oyster house and had a good time there. Very clean & safe, some homeless around but often I think people complain about them without warrant. They don't harass/bother me ever and I spend a good amount of time in Oly.
