Visitors are allowed thirty minutes at this historical building. Well worth viewing some original features: 1. Original marble restrooms; 2. Fourth floor stained glass, surrounded by uncovered brick and stone materials; 3. First floor documents' vault (now an office); 4. Intricate architectural details throughout their multiple floors.

This place is so beautiful! Very peaceful, would definitely recommend to go visit this place with family or friends. Inside it’s amazing all of the hard work that was put into building this place is amazing. The town it’s safe is very small and quit. But definitely recommend to stop by and check it out if your driving by you won’t regret it! To park I believe it was $10 but to enter in we didn’t have to pay anything. Also if your into photography it’s a great place to get some amazing pictures in.

Beautiful historic building. My kids call it the castle capitol. When we take our strolls through down town Olympia, walking past the old capitol building is one of the highlights.

The Old Capital Building was built in 1892 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. This is a beautiful building. Check it out!

What a wonderful, magical, detailed, beautiful building. Just the level of detail work on almost all the surfaces inside and out there is so much to look at you need to take a lot of pictures and then go over them at home so you can zoom in on the little things throughout this Castle. Your best option is to have a tour guide to explain what you're looking at cause, you think it is one thing and turns out to be something else interesting. Love the atmosphere here it has a good vibe. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. This is a must try place, so pack up a good lunch grab your girl, or your friends and family and check this place out.

An extremely beautiful historic old capitol building. Great architecture and stained glass. Nice park in front of it. Unfortunately there are a lot of homeless people sleeping in the park in front of it now. It is still worth seeing.

If you have business or meeting with the WA State Department of Education or the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction their building is a great place to go. Very historic. Be sure to have your host give you the tour.

We had an excellent tour guide who was very informative & knowledgeable of Kentucky State History, and made the experience very enjoyable. This tour was included with the purchase of admission for the Thomas D Clark Center for Kentucky History (which is also a must see), so you can take your time visiting there before selecting a tour time to go walk over to the Old State Capitol. A definite must see!

Cool looking building, I'd like to see inside but it's still currently being used as a government building so I don't think you can just walk in and look around
