Garfield Nature Trail Park

Tourist attraction Park

👍 Deep wooded ravine path that runs from Rogers Street to West Bay Drive. Stairs are in good condition. Just enough foot traffic to feel not too isolated down in there. We parked on the side street (Conger Ave) but plan to use the West Bay Park lot and enter from that side next time. A little elevatio... People often mention trail, park, walk,

Great for kids! My 2.5 year old made the hike down on her own. The way back up is a bit steep, but only for .30 miles. From the trail head to waters edge is .60 miles. Packed into that short distance is a ton of nature to explore! There is no parking lot at the head, just park on the road.

Short and nice trail to walk. Took about 20 minutes to start and return to the beginning of the trail. Beautiful and quiet when we went so I didn't see a lot of foot traffic.

I walk my dog on this trail almost every day. Such a beautiful little trail in the middle of the neighborhood!

Beautiful trail. The scenery was so green and the air was fresh. There are a lot of stairs and may be difficult for some, bit over all really nice little hike.

Nice short trail through the trees with a creek bed. Good place to listen to the wind in the branches.

It is a super small but beautiful park/ravine that connects the water with the West Side/Garfield neighborhood. Good short trail with a hill and steps for some sprint workouts too!

Very short, cute little hike. Creek runs through the middle. Lots of little slugs and snails and beetles and such. All the way downhill one way all the way uphill the other obviously. Lots of cute stairs and small bridges...

Beautiful trail. I took my 4year old son on the trail and while there was some stair he did a fantastic job so very family friendly. I recommend going to the park across the street at the end of the trail if you enter by the school the Olympia park Beautiful look at the water

This tiny park/trail is a lovely short walk of only 0.6 mile through a ravine with the western trailhead located off of N. Rogers St. and the eastern end off of West Bay Dr. I found that parking at West Bay Park is a great option as it's just across the street from the eastern trailhead. I brought my dogs and found the trail extremely easy to walk. Nice for what it is.

Such a amazing place to have a nice trail to walk to the bay and be in nature so close to town. Trail is well kept but has lots of steps but it's a must do if on westside go Hit Egans drive threw and grab a burger and shake and take a nice walk to bay and park! Thank me later!!

This is a nice jaunt. It's also very peaceful and has beautiful scenery. It opens up to a park that's called Rotary Point! Great, fun little hike. Good for kids and adults 🤠

Always enjoyed this trail. Today, we noticed a tent set up at the bottom of the creek, off the trail. Hoping this gem in the center of a neighborhood is not going to turn into a large scale campsite; I would hate to see the water and trail totally trashed.

A beautiful oasis in the middle of a bustling neighborhood.
