πŸ‘πŸ‘ I liked the up and down terrain of the trail and the education it provides about trees along the way. I just finished the trail as the tide was coming in and the sun was setting . I recommend wearing good shoes for hiking this trail. People often mention trail, beach, beautiful, lots, shore, hike,

Really nice trail with many old growth fir trees. Very peaceful path with a variety of plants and flowers. Not very crowded during week days. Need to pay daily fees to access the Park.

Small trail, simple and beautiful. It was low tide when we went so we was able to walk the beach and see lots of sand. Wear rain or mud boots. Please be careful with wildlife. Park staff are very strict. Clean up after yourself and dogs. The trail is not very handicapp friendly. It is short and does have 1 bench along the path. Not wheelchair friendly at all. The boardwalk area is small. Never went to the bathrooms so cannot tell you if they were clean or not. The park does have a nice indoor area to rent. A small wedding/reception was happening when we went. Not sure what pass to use. I used my America the Beautiful Pass and did not get a ticket. It maybe a Discover Pass Park though. I am not sure of the difference between the two passes. Parking area is adequate but small. Carpool if you can. Bring a chair for the low tide days. You can sit and just watch the water. Kids can play in the sand. Dogs should be on a leash at all times. Not much to see but you can make a short trail lots of fun with your imagination. Photos was on a low tide day.

A nice forested walk. There are lots of picnic benches and grills, restrooms, and a fresh water spigot at the base of the trail/parking lot area. You need a Discover Pass or you can pay there for the day ($10) . There are upper and lower parking lots, but during peak times they fill up quick! Dogs MUST be kept on a leash and cleaned up after. The trail is well groomed, and not too strenuous. #LetsGuide #LocalGuides #LeeHeath

This park is so close to Tolmie State Park. When you get there, you can actually combine trails to make longer! Very nice place!

This place was beautiful. Little crabs ruled the shore line. Sea lion was nearby and we got to watch him bob around while he fed. The beach was rockey but beautiful. Acorn trees nearby. Loads of sand dollars and shells on the shore. We kayaked on the shore and had an absolute blast! Not many people on the beach while we were there. The drive to this park was gorgeous! Stop by and check it out.

Well maintained paths, beautiful scenery, and lots of wildlife! The cell signal is spotty with Verizon, not sure about others. Definitely a good hike!

This was a scenic trail perfect for my 14 year old son who wore slides and my 71 year old mom. Parking on a sunny late afternoon was difficult, but staff were on hand to help direct traffic and ensure we got a spot. The trail makes a complete loop back to the parking lot with a gradual incline and a few downed trees to climb over.

This hike near the ocean is a delightful coastal adventure! The trail is short and beginner-friendly, making it perfect for all skill levels. As you walk along the path, you're treated to stunning ocean views and the salty breeze from the nearby shore. The ocean's clam-rich reputation adds an exciting touch to the journey, making it a fun opportunity for beachcombing and discovering coastal treasures. The hike is a picturesque blend of coastal and natural beauty, offering a refreshing escape for nature enthusiasts and beginners alike. Whether you're seeking a tranquil stroll or a chance to explore the coastline, this hike is a must-try for a magical coastal experience. πŸŒŠπŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈπŸžοΈ

It's a beautiful place to go and see. This trail is a moderate trail. Go and spend time at this beautiful place. There are more options of trails and also the beach. Trails that even younger children or those not able to walk long distance or steep trails. Plan accordingly for what you want to do and enjoy the beauty. You might even stay longer than you planned, because there is so much to do.

Such a great trail with old growth cedars and firs. There’s some elevation gain which helps get the heart rate up and keeps things interesting. This trail feels much more remote than it is.

I absolutely LOVE the trail at Tolmie State Park not only does it have a very distinctive path, but it's compatible for several skill levels. The trail is wide and has around a 24" width across so it allows several people to walk down it at once. I also love how the trail leads right down to the beach it allows for my kids and I to access the trail with ease and the beach as well at the same time. We found lots of shells, rocks, and sand dollars this trip truly made my daughter's summer!!!

Beautiful state park with a smallish amount of shoreline hemmed in by private shoreline but nonetheless provides public access to the shore and the hillside forest. The tide level will influence the amount of shore available.
