My neighbors were talking about this lake so I took my daughter it was nice to cool off. You can’t see the bottom of the lake when you’re swimming which freaks me out. There were bathrooms and grassy parts. No place for sand castles but the water was cool not freezing like the ocean though. There’s a volleyball court. What I did love honestly was there was moms all sizes in their swimsuits. Kids were swimming on floats, rafts, it really was nice. I would bring a blanket to sit on and a cooler. There is no lifeguard. This is 100% free too. This lake is a nice hidden gem. Also there was a police officer that would walk around which was nice

I take my dog there frequently to swim him. Either beach area or next door is the boaters lauch(photo). I often see boaters, kayakers, paddleboards, fisherman in the water. it's a nice peaceful little lake In town

Great location! Long walk down to water. Handicap wheelchair accessible. Luscious green grass year round for your picnic get together. sand volleyball courts. Bathrooms. Unfortunately there hasn't been a floating dock in many, many, years. That is what I miss most about this park! The good old diving experience that you can no longer enjoy. Hands down a pleasant park in lacey. Fall, spring and winter the park hardly has anyone there.

I biked around the entire lake looking for access and this is the only spot that's public. It's okay. Not many people so that's nice. Kind of a small spot, but the entire lake is full of houses taking ownership. Nice living I could imagine!

Great! Always love to bring my children to the lake to swim, eat snacks and then go home well rested. It can get crowded from 2pm-5pm, but settles down and becomes less crowded around 6:30pm-close. Also, close to the Thurston County fair grounds. Maybe next year we will go to the fair, this year was just way too hot to stand and enjoy an amusement park.

This is a great place has free life vests, kayak rentals for a few, and life guards most of the time. But can fill up fast because it is small. Big trun around for large vehicles

Beautiful area. Nice beach full of small pebbles. Lot's of grass to sit on. Clean restrooms with flushing toilets and soap with running water for washing your hands. There are areas marked off for the little kids (about 4feet deep) to swim and another area marked off for older kids or adults.

Nice and quite in the morning. Very clean. Great outdoor space for walking dogs. No swimming at this time.

The dock is gone but the lake seems more family friendly now that the police have started having more of a presence here. Last year there were far more people smoking weed and sneaking alcohol around the park. From what I saw during our recent visit it was much improved. 4 stars because the bathrooms reek like a porta-potty.

Perfect water temp to match outside temp nicely, with a decent breeze to add! Everyone there seemed super relaxed had a mellow family vibe to it. So was a great place to swim at with my daughter!😁

It's well maintained and clean, and it's patrolled by law enforcement to ensure safety and discipline. If you're willing to brave the cool water, it's worth it. Don't forget the paddle board, there's also a boat launch for the boaters and kayaker. There are 2 volleyball nets and 3 picnic benches available. Take advantage of the weather, it's too nice out not to 😎

Water was clean and warm. I really love that the lake is sectioned with buoys. The first section is excellent for small children as the next section gets deeper quickly. I am 5' 5" and could barely walk with my head above the water in the next section. Restrooms are available as well as an outside shower.

Come one come all bring the kids and volleyball and kayaks or the blow up Ducky's the waters nice has the vibe is refreshing the outside shower is amazing the only downside is the hill and I seam to remember a dock when I was a child all and all it's one of the last places that u feel safe to let the kids run while u soak up some sun but be safe and don't take my word for it get out there and see

Nice lake. Open and quiet in the spring. Unfortunately there is no swimming dock as there used to be years ago. This lake is very crowded in the summer but a solid swimming lake nonetheless. Buoyed in swimming areas make it a bit more appealing.

Good spot to beat the heat. It can get pretty busy during the hottest months of July and August, but there is plenty of space on the grass for everyone. There's also a volleyball court if that's your thing. Not always a lifeguard on duty so it's swim at your own risk.

A wonderful swimming lake! The ripped off areas make is safe for various skill levels of swimming. The beach itself is small and comes up on a steep grass hill. There us very little shade. So come prepared!

Great place to swim. I don’t know how busy this park gets, but I went with a few friends during an 87° heat. Plenty of space to swim and sit. There are a couple of v-ball nets that I have yet to use.

This park is very clean. It has restrooms and they are clean at all times. I like that the police patrols the park to ensure everyone is safe. You can swim in the lake which have designated areas to do so. Also it has volleyball nets. I really enjoyed my visit.

Free parking, a designated swim area, and public restrooms. This public lake is great for families or anyone looking to cool off.

Beautiful, safe and fun. There are bathrooms, concessions, police on duty and a lifeguard. Only bummer is there's no dock or anything for the kids to jump off of.
