I
stayed
with
my
partner
here
for
two
nights
on
a
recent
visit
to
WA
state.
What
is
unique
and
memorable
about
Swantown
is
the
experience
of
staying
at
a
traditional
bed-and-breakfast:
the
gorgeous
vintage
vibe
throughout;
personal
guidance
and
local
expertise
from
the
owners/innkeepers,
the
communal,
home-cooked
breakfast
with
fellow
travelers
(and
the
great
connections/conversation!),
and
the
multi-course
custom
breakfast
--
including,
for
me,
a
delicious
breakfast
that
accommodated
my
dietary
sensitivities
and
allergies.
This
was
easy
for
us
to
coordinate
in
advance
over
email
with
our
hosts,
and
when
considering
that
the
cost
of
a
night's
stay
included
a
gourmet
breakfast
for
both
of
us,
we
could
not
pass
up
the
value.
Also
--
free
espresso
drinks
for
guests
on
the
weekends
are
included
with
your
stay!
Our
comfy,
quiet
room
came
with
a
private
bathroom
across
the
hall
with
an
enormous
clawfoot
bathtub
and
bidet.
There
was
no
TV
in
our
room
(LOVE
that)
and
there
was
good
wifi
and
a
bluetooth
speaker.
In
fact
when
we
arrived,
our
room
was
done
up
welcomingly,
the
bed
turned
down,
and
soft
relaxing
music
playing
on
the
Bluetooth
speaker.
After
traveling
all
day,
I
literally
flopped
on
the
bed
and
went
"AAAaaaaahhhhhhh."
We
made
the
short
drive
to
the
Olympia
Farmers
Market,
it
is
just
a
few
minutes
away
on
a
Sunday.
They
have
a
couple
of
EV
charging
stations
in
their
parking
lot
for
eco-conscious
auto
travelers.
Every
detail
in
this
well-preserved
building
is
lovingly
preserved,
and
they
even
have
cool
merch!
(we
bought
two
souvenir
mugs
and
gave
one
to
my
Mom,
who
loved
it).
We
also
got
to
check
out
their
beautiful
ballroom,
which
would
be
great
for
a
wedding,
private
party,
retreat,
workshop,
or
conference.
Thank
you
Nathan
and
Casey
for
such
a
great
stay,
we
will
be
back!
