The owner was so incredibly rude. My wife asked him about their cancellation policy and he very rudely explained it and then told her if we are thinking about canceling they will not be allowing us to book. We said we’re not thinking about canceling we just wanted to understand their hotel policy. Based on their reviews we were concerned about transparency so we wanted to know their policy. He rudely said they are a bed and breakfast NOT a hotel. My wife said ..sir you being are quite rude and he said they are not a good fit and do not want our business. The call ending in a cussing match on both sides. WOW! I’m not sure we’ve ever experienced anything like that. Do not waste your time or money.

For Pros, the Parking and wifi are free, and the bed was comfortable and the sheets were luxurious. For cons, we felt that this place is outdated and the amenities fell flat for the price we paid compared to other BnBs we stayed on our trip. We felt very limited by the 4-6pm check-in time which we were reminded about too many times. We felt rushed to make it in time. It felt as if running the bnb wasn’t the owners priority. The room is super outdated, bit dusty, and the shower is really small. The breakfast was just okay. The scones were not tasty and sorbet while refreshing seemed misplaced for breakfast. We had high hopes but felt disappointed.

My girlfriend and I had a great stay here during our 2 month trip around the West. The host was exceedingly kind, personable, and accommodating. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The food was homemade and very tasty. Highly recommend staying here over a chain hotel if passing through the Olympia area.

I absolutely loved my stay here, and the owners were so welcoming and accommodating. The spa area was amazing as well! I stayed here for a weekend getaway and enjoyed the peace and quiet away from every day life. I will for sure be coming back!

Very Quaint, Historical Inn with tons of CHARM! We had a wonderful 3 night stay in November 2023. We lucked out and weather was great although, I would have been happy just hanging out at the inn. Food was great and the hosts were so accomadating. They helped us with directions to a great place to hike and great restaurants to eat dinner at. All in all a great place to celebrate my birthday.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Swantown. From check-in to check out, our hosts were kind and fun and made us feel so very welcome. The breakfasts both days were amazing, and we were able to watch a football game my husband did not want to miss in their lovely dining room. They had fun suggestions of things to see and do, and this amazing home is in a lovely part of Olympia. I enjoyed walking to the Capitol from there. The home is so rare for the PNW - a historic home lovingly restored with so many period details. I could not recommend it more highly.

We had an amazing stay here! The breakfasts are delicious and perfectly portioned. The rooms are wonderful and comfortable, although for clarity we only stayed two nights and didn’t try out the shower. They have great recommendations of activities to do, both nearby and elsewhere in Olympia. I definitely recommend it!

Fantastic bed and breakfast with an amazing, unique atmosphere and wonderful service. Right in the heart of the city, with easy walking to downtown and buses to anywhere else. An experience like nowhere I've ever been.

We had a lovely one night stay at Swantown Inn. The house is very quaint, the living room area is full of Washington/Olympia trinkets and they also have games for kids (or adults!). The room was super comfortable and the bathroom was good too. The breakfast was the best part, super delicious three course breakfast cooked by the innkeepers. I’ll recommend this place to anyone and will stay when I’m back in Olympia!

A beautiful, picturesque bed and breakfast run by a lovely couple who made us the most delightful breakfast. My wife is gluten sensitive and they made her some special gluten-free scones that she says were some of the best she's had. The room was great as well - clean, well-appointed, and spacious. The inn is in a nice, quiet area of town, close to all the areas we wanted to visit. We had a great stay here!

We loved our stay at the Swantown Inn. Our hosts, Nathan and Casey were amazingly helpful and full of information about the surrounding area and about the community. They made the place feel like a home away from home. The breakfasts were delicious alternating daily from sweet to savory, but always a great way to start the day. Perhaps the highest compliment I can offer is our plans to stay here again soon. We are definitely looking forward to enjoying the Swantown Inn again!

Our stay at the Swantown Inn and Spa was wonderful. The innkeepers, Nathan and Casey are gracious and well-informed hosts. Our room, The Percival, was comfortable and well-appointed. I love the mix of the modern and the historic at this inn: lovely antiques fill the Victorian house that also has air conditioning, wifi and modern touches such as Bluetooth clock radios. (Not to mention luxurious sheets and towels.) Casey's breakfasts are delicious - homemade, seasonal sorbet at every one! - and Nathan, who is also a realtor, is a valuable resource of Olympia history, neighborhoods and "things not to miss." The inn is well-located, too, just minutes from downtown Olympia and its waterfront. We booked the Percival at the Swantown hoping that we would have a great B and B experience and get to know Olympia in a more personal way, and our expectations were exceeded on every front. I highly recommend a stay at the Swantown Inn and Spa.

Spent two nights at Swanton Inn, while visiting family in the area, and it was perfect. The hosts were great, breakfasts were delicious, and the room was very comfortable. Lovely historic Victorian home with all of the expected charm of the era in which it was built.

My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend at Swantown Inn for a romantic getaway (and an early birthday celebration). We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to a return visit. Nathan and Casey are fabulous hosts and we enjoyed their delicious breakfasts, the bed was incredibly comfortable (I slept better than I have in a long time), and the location is great for being able to explore the Olympia downtown area on foot. Thank you for a fantastic weekend!

We held our wedding here and it was beautiful and the rooms are so cozy and the 3 course breakfast was Soo good. Nathan and Cassie are very sweet hosts. The barista also makes very good coffee and teas. I can't wait to stay again!

I stayed with my partner here for two nights on a recent visit to WA state. What is unique and memorable about Swantown is the experience of staying at a traditional bed-and-breakfast: the gorgeous vintage vibe throughout; personal guidance and local expertise from the owners/innkeepers, the communal, home-cooked breakfast with fellow travelers (and the great connections/conversation!), and the multi-course custom breakfast -- including, for me, a delicious breakfast that accommodated my dietary sensitivities and allergies. This was easy for us to coordinate in advance over email with our hosts, and when considering that the cost of a night's stay included a gourmet breakfast for both of us, we could not pass up the value. Also -- free espresso drinks for guests on the weekends are included with your stay! Our comfy, quiet room came with a private bathroom across the hall with an enormous clawfoot bathtub and bidet. There was no TV in our room (LOVE that) and there was good wifi and a bluetooth speaker. In fact when we arrived, our room was done up welcomingly, the bed turned down, and soft relaxing music playing on the Bluetooth speaker. After traveling all day, I literally flopped on the bed and went "AAAaaaaahhhhhhh." We made the short drive to the Olympia Farmers Market, it is just a few minutes away on a Sunday. They have a couple of EV charging stations in their parking lot for eco-conscious auto travelers. Every detail in this well-preserved building is lovingly preserved, and they even have cool merch! (we bought two souvenir mugs and gave one to my Mom, who loved it). We also got to check out their beautiful ballroom, which would be great for a wedding, private party, retreat, workshop, or conference. Thank you Nathan and Casey for such a great stay, we will be back!

“My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Swantown Inn and Breakfast , and it was a great experience. From the moment we arrived, Casey and Nathan went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The accommodations, coupled with exceptional service, and the yummiest breakfast made our stay truly memorable. The Swantown’s prime location also made exploring the city a breeze. We would be happy to return. Thank you Casey and Nathan!

Most amazing get away. Enjoyed the day spa, 2 hour massage with Josh was absolutely wonderful. Enjoyed the steam shower and foot bath. Charcuterie board was the best we have ever had. Astoria room was comfy and cozy. Nathan and Casey make everything comfortable -fantastic sorbet with breakfast. You won't regret staying here.

This Inn is in Olympia, Wa. We have been going there for over 8 years now when we need some respite! Each room is unique and the breakfasts are gourmet annnnd home cooked and baked by Nathan and Casey, ine Innkeepers! Last week we had frozen pear glacé from their own trees, fresh cranberry scones, and Egg soufflé. The room we like has a huge King bed, fireplace and big bathroom with a Jacuzzi and a shower, fresh robes and towels. Visit! You will be nourished deeply.

My husband and I just enjoyed a week's stay at the Inn at the recommendation of our son who lives a few streets away. We were excited to stay at B & B and support locally owned business. We arrived late and Nathan was gracious enough to wait up for us. We were shown to our room, The Columbia, which was very cozy and quiet at the end of the hall. We had our own bathroom that was directly across the a "hall". The shower was amazing with strong pressure and very hot water! We were also provided use of a galley kitchen that also had a washer/dryer for our use. The breakfasts were thoughtfully prepared by Casey. We are on the Paleo diet (grain free, sugar free, dairy free). Casey made us eggs with vegetables and grain free waffles and puffed pancakes! I did indulge in a nibble of freshly made scones each morning. The scones were some of the best I've had: not too sweet and moist! We loved the option of having espresso on the weekends from their coffee bar. On a couple of occasions, they were generous to allow us have our son join us for scones and tea. There was plenty of parking on-site and super close to downtown and the freeway. They also shared with us different places to visit in the area. We are grateful for their insights. We definitely will stay again for another visit to Olympia! Thank you Nathan and Casey for you hospitality!

The hosts, Nathan and Casey, are skilled in hospitality.. The accommodations are first class, and the food is wonderful. They have recipes for several of the delights they serve on their website.

"This was a Mother's Day gift from my son and daughter-in-law (great kids!). They thought I needed a relaxing day to myself and gifted this 4-hour spa treatment for me at Swantown, a brand new experience. The afternoon was perfect, with a warm foot bath experience and gorgeous tea service, a two-hour massage (no, it's not too long) by a fantastic guy (thanks, Josh!), and a fabulous luncheon tray fit for royalty. A warm steam shower afterward and just some time to myself, uninterrupted. I felt like a queen upon leaving this beautiful period styled establishment that felt like home the second I stepped into the foyer. Would recommend to anyone!"

I'm legit flabbergasted at anyone who gives this incredible place a 1-star rating over a cancellation policy. You want free cancellation at the last minute, go stay at a large corporate hotel instead of a small family-run business who can't rebook the rooms at the last minute. That being said, Casey and Nathan are the most wonderful people ever. We ended up finding this place after an Airbnb turned out to be not what we had hoped for for a romantic getaway. They took us in, treated us like family, and salvaged what might have been a terrible night. We try to stay there every few months. The breakfasts are always inventive and delicious and they take great care of their guests. We love them and highly, hugely recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway. We always stay in the Astoria room because of the huge jacuzzi tub. Yeah, they're the best.

Absolutely loved staying here and wish it wasn't just 1 night. It's a small little place and we got a chance to sit and have breakfast and talk with the owners in the morning. The breakfast was also wonderful and hand tailored to my ever so strange dietary restrictions. Perfect place to spend our wedding night!

Daniel & I had our wedding here 3 weeks ago. Casey and Nathan made me so at ease with preparations and very patient with my questions. They were so accommodating and made our day so special. The ballroom was set up so beautifully, brunch was delicious, as well as our wedding cake. Casey did a wonderful job on our flowers and even made the extra ones I requested. Thank you both so much for making our day extremely special. We will definitely be back; hopefully on our 1 yr anniversary 😊

I stopped by for an e-bike rental and received better customer service than I ever expected. I went 80 miles (with a gratis battery swap in the middle) and enjoyed a most memorable ride through the Washington countryside. I had open plans and decided to go ahead and book a room and another bike rental later in the week. The house is amazing! The bed was so comfortable that I fell asleep almost immediately and had a 2 hour nap. Breakfast was delicious, and the homemade sorbet was absolutely devine. I hope I get another chance to visit in the future. There is much to see and do, and the e-bike made it a joy to travel by. The drivers I encountered were very courteous of bikes, a welcome change from home. Book a stay here and you will not be disappointed.

So many wonderful things to say about the accommodations at Swantown! The host is extremely nice and welcoming, offering many different recommendations for local restaurants. The room was spacious, and there was relaxing music playing when I first entered the room. The ceiling fan has a convenient remote, as well as for the over-head light. WI-FI works great for business as well. And how could I forget about the delicious breakfast? Every dish was exceptional and unique, and the host accommodated my busy schedule by feeding me early. All of this is priced very reasonably. So, why stay at a hotel for the same price (or more)? Give the Swantown Inn and Spa a try and experience something truly special. You won't be disappointed!

I was hesitant because i have never been at an inn, and i didn't know exactly what to expect. When i parked and got out and was trying to get my confidence and figure out which door i am suppose to go to (sadly tiredness made my brain not be able to think) and then cassey came out going you must be mckenzie. She automatically made me feel extremely welcome. It also helps that they show you where everything is and what to do for breakfast. I really enjoyed the questions about food allegies and food preferences. Will definitely come again with hubby.

I came to stay for a Mother’s Day retreat. It was quiet, comfortable, and so relaxing! Breakfast was amazing! I would gladly stay again.

Swantown Inn was the perfect stay for our Olympia trip. Nathan and Casey were super responsive and they even picked us up from the train station, which was a huge load off our plates since our train got in kind of late. The three course breakfast was AMAZING, and I loved how it was different every day. (Probably my favorite part of our stay, even though it was super filling so I could only eat one serving...). The room was clean and comfy and I loved the bathroom and the big clawfoot tub. It's located close to downtown, and within walking distance of some lovely trails! Casey and Nathan were so kind, helpful (there's not much they don't know about the area, so definitely make use of their expertise) and some of the loveliest people to be around. 5/5 recommend this gem!

We really enjoyed our unique stay at Swantown Inn. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating to our schedule. We instantly felt welcome as if visiting old friends. The Victorian house was a great setting to such a special experience and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend and would plan to stay again in the future.
